< Jeremias 23 >

1 Woe to the shepherds that destroy and scatter the sheep of their pasture!
Hankàñe amo mpiarake manjamañe naho mampibaibay o añondrim-piandrazakoo! hoe t’Iehovà.
2 Therefore thus says the Lord against them that tend my people; You have scattered my sheep, and driven them out, and you have not visited them: behold, I [will] take vengeance upon you according to your evil practices.
Aa le hoe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israele amo mpiarake mamahañe ondatikoo: Fa nampivarakaihe’ areo i lia-raikoy, vaho rinoa’ areo añe; tsy sinari’ areo; aa le hisariako ty amo haloloam-pitoloña’ areo, hoe t’Iehovà.
3 And I will gather in the remnant of my people in every land, whither I have driven them out, and will set them in their pasture; and they shall increase and be multiplied.
Le izaho ty hanontoñe ty sehanga’ i lia-raikoy boak’ amo fifeheañe nandroahako iareoo, le hampoliko mb’ an-golobo’e mb’eo; vaho hiraorao vaho hanaranake.
4 And I will raise up shepherds to them, who shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be alarmed, says the Lord.
Le hampitroareko mpiarake hisary iareo naho hamahañe iareo; ie tsy ho hembañe ka, tsy hiroreke, vaho tsy ama’e ty hirereke, hoe t’Iehovà.
5 Behold, the days come, says the Lord, when I will raise up to David a righteous branch, and a king shall reign and understand, and shall execute judgment and righteousness on the earth.
Ingo ho tondroke ty andro, hoe t’Iehovà, t’ie hampitirieko amy Davide ty tora-mionjo-bantañe, ie ty ho mpanjaka hifeleke naho hiraorao, vaho hizaka amy taney an-katò naho an-kavañonañe.
6 In his days both Juda shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell securely: and this is his name, which the Lord shall call him, Josedec among the prophets.
Ho rombaheñe amo andro’eo t’Iehodà, vaho hiaiñañoleñañe t’Israele; le zao ty tahina’e hikanjiañe aze: Iehovà Havantaña’ay.
7 Therefore, behold, the days come, says the Lord, when they shall no more say, The Lord lives, who brought up the house of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
Aa le ingo ho tondroke ty andro hoe t’Iehovà, te tsy hanoe’ iereo ty hoe: Kanao veloñe t’Iehovà nañakatse o ana’ Israeleo boak’ an-tane’ Mitsraime añe;
8 but The Lord lives, who has gathered the whole seed of Israel from the north land, and from all the countries whither he [had] driven them out, and has restored them into their own land.
fe: Kanao veloñe t’Iehovà nañavotse naho niaolo ty tirin’ anjomba’ Israele boak’an-tane avaratse añe, hirik’amo hene fifeheañe nandroahako iareo, le himoneña’ iareo ty tane’iareo.
9 My heart is broken within me; all my bones are shaken: I am become as a broken-down man, and as a man overcome with wine, because of the Lord, and because of the excellence of his glory.
Aa ty amo mpitokio: Rofotse ty troko añ’ovako ao, miripidripike iaby o taolakoo, hoe te ondaty jike, manahake t’indaty nimamoe’ ty divay, ty am’ Iehovà naho o tsara’e masiñeo.
10 For because of these things the land mourns; the pastures of the wilderness are dried up; and their course is become evil, and so [also] their strength.
Amy te manitsike i taney o mpañakarapiloo; itañia’ i taney i fatsey, mikantañe o fiandrazañe am-patrambeio; mengoke am-pañaveloañe iareo naho vàlañe an-kaozarañe;
11 For priest and prophet are defiled; and I have seen their iniquities in my house.
Tsy aman-Kàke ndra mpitoky ndra mpisoroñe; eka, ndra añ’akibako ao ty nahatreavako ty haloloa’ iareo, hoe t’Iehovà.
12 Therefore let their way be to them slippery and dark: and they shall be tripped up and fall in it: for I will bring evils upon them, in the year of their visitation.
Aa le halama o lala’ iareoo, haronje ami’ty haleñe iereo vaho hivarinjonjok’ ao; fa hafetsako am’ iereo ty hankàñe, eka, ty taom-pitilihañe iareo, hoe t’Iehovà.
13 And in the prophets of Samaria I have seen lawless deeds; they prophesied by Baal, and led my people Israel astray.
Mbore nahatrea hativañe amo mpisoro’ i Someroneo iraho: i Baale ty fitokia’ iareo, mampanan-kakeo Israele ondatikoo.
14 Also in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen horrible things: as they committed adultery, and walked in lies, and strengthened the hands of many, that they should not return each from his evil way: they are all become to me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrha.
Toe vata’e haloloañe ty nitreako amo mpitoky e Ierosalaimeo: ie mpañarapilo naho mpañavelo an-dañitse, ampahozare’ iareo ty fità’ o lo-tserekeo, soa tsy eo ty hibalintoa amy hatsivokara’ey; songa hanahake Sedome amako iereo, manahak’ i Amorà o mpimone’eo.
15 Therefore thus says the Lord; Behold, I will feed them with pain, and give them bitter water to drink: for from the prophets of Jerusalem has defilement gone forth [into] all the land.
Aa le hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy ty amo mpitokio: Ingo hifahanako vahontsoy, ampinomeko manahin-afero; fa boak’ amo mpitoki’ Ierosalaimeo ty namelaran-katemboañe nahatsitsike ty tane.
16 Thus says the Lord Almighty, Listen not to the words of the prophets: for they frame a vain vision for themselves; they speak from their own heart, and not from the mouth of the Lord.
Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy: Ko haoñe’ areo ty lañona’ o mpitoky mitoky ama’ areoo, o mitarik’ anahareo mb’an-koakeo; ty aroñaron-tro’e avao ty saontsie’ iereo f’ie tsy boak’am-palie’ Iehovà.
17 They say to them that reject the word of the Lord, There shall be peace to you; and to all that walk after their own lusts, and to everyone that walks in the error of his heart, they have said, No evil shall come upon you.
Mitolom-panao ty hoe amo malaiñe Ahio iereo: inao ty tsara’ Iehovà: Hierañerañe nahareo; naho amo manjotik’ am-panjeharan-tro’eo ty hoe: Tsy ho tendrek’ ama’ areo ty hekoheko.
18 For who has stood in the counsel of the Lord, and seen his word? who has listened, and heard?
Fa ia ty nijohañe am-pivori’ Iehovà ao hahaoniñe, hijanjiñe o tsara’eo? Ia ty nañaoñe i nafè’ey, naho nahafitsendreñ’aze?
19 Behold, [there is] an earthquake from the Lord, and anger proceeds to a convulsion, it shall come violently upon the ungodly.
Ingo fa nionjoñe am-piforoforoa’e ty tio-bei’ Iehovà, eka, hiviombio an-doha’ o lo-tserekeo ty tangololahy.
20 And the Lord's wrath shall return no more, until he have accomplished it, and until he have established it, according to the purpose of his heart: at the end of the days they shall understand it.
Tsy himpoly ty haviñera’ Iehovà ampara’ t’ie mahaheneke, ampara’ te fonire’e i satrie’ey, ho fohi’ areo do’e izay amo andro honkahonka’eo.
21 I sent not the prophets, yet they ran: neither spoke I to them, yet they prophesied.
Tsy nafantoko o mpitoky retoa, f’ie mihitrihitry; tsy nivolañeko, f’ie mitoky avao.
22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and if they had listened to my words, then would they have turned my people from their evil practices.
Aa naho nijohañ’ ampivoriko ao, le ho nampijanjiñe’ iareo ondatikoo o entakoo, himpolia’iareo boak’amy lalan-kelokelo’iareoy vaho hiambohoa’ iareo o sata’ rati’ iareoo,
23 I am a God near at hand, says the Lord, and not a God afar off.
Andrianañahare atoañe avao hao iraho, hoe t’Iehovà, fa tsy Andrianañahare añe ka?
24 Shall any one hide himself in secret places, and I not see him? Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the Lord.
Eo hao ty mahafietake am-pipalira’e ao tsy ho treako? hoe t’Iehovà. Tsy manitsike i likerañey naho ty tane toy hao iraho? hoe t’Iehovà.
25 I have heard what the prophets say, what they prophesy in my name, saying falsely, I have seen a night vision.
Fa tsinanoko ty saontsi’ o mpitoky mpandañitse ami’ty añarakoo, ami’ty hoe: Nañinofy iraho, nañinofy iraho.
26 How long shall [these things] be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, when they prophesy the purposes of their own heart?
Ampara’ te mb’ia te ho an-tro’ i mpitoky vilañey ty hitokia’e vande, ty hitoky ty famañahian-tro’e avao.
27 who devise that [men] may forget my law by their dreams, which they have told every one to his neighbor, as their fathers forgot my name in [the worship of] Baal.
Fisafiria’ iareo ty hampañaliñoañe ondatikoo ty añarako amo nofi’ iareo ifampisaontsia’ iareoo, manahake ty nandikofa’ o roae’eo ty añarako ty amy Baale.
28 The prophet who has a dream, let him tell his dream; and [he] in whom is my word [spoken] to him, let him tell my word truly: what is the chaff to the corn? so are my words, says the Lord.
Ty mpitoky mañinofy, apoho hitalily i nofi’ey; le ty manañe i entakoy, soa re te hitaroñe am-pigahiñañe. Inoñ’ ami’ty ampemba hao ty ahetse? hoe t’Iehovà;
29 Behold, are not my words as fire? says the Lord; and as an axe cutting the rock?
Tsy manahake ty afo hao o volakoo? hoe t’Iehovà; naho hoe ana-bato mampikotekoteke ty lamilamy?
30 Behold, I am therefore against the prophets, says the Lord God, that steal my words every one from his neighbor.
Aa le inao! hejeko o mpitokio, hoe t’Iehovà, ie mifampikametse o entakoo.
31 Behold, I am against the prophets that put forth prophecies of mere words, and slumber their sleep.
Inao hatreatreko o mpitokio, hoe t’Iehovà ie mañetseke ty famele’e hitoky ty hoe: Hoe ty tsara’e.
32 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets that prophesy false dreams, and have not told them [truly], and have caused my people to err by their lies, and by their errors; yet I sent them not, and commanded them not; therefore, they shall not profit this people at all.
Inao! toe hejeko o mitoky nofin-dremborakeo, hoe t’Iehovà, ie mitalily vaho mampandilatse ondatikoo amo vande’eo naho amo fikanifoha’eo; ie tsy niraheko, tsy liniliko; mbore tsy mahasoa ondaty retoa, hoe t’Iehovà.
33 And if this people, or the priest, or the prophet, should ask, What is the burden of the Lord? then you shall say to them, You are the burden, and I will dash you down, says the Lord.
Aa naho manao ty hoe ama’o ondaty retoa, ndra ty mpitoky, ndra ty mpisoroñe: Ino ty nafè’ Iehovà? le isaontsio ty hoe, Fetse inoñe! Fa ho farieko nahareo, hoe t’Iehovà.
34 [As for] the prophet, and the priests, and the people, who shall say, The burden of the Lord, I will even take vengeance on that man, and on his house.
Le ty mpitoky ndra mpisoroñe ndra ze ondaty mete hanao ty hoe: Ty nafè’ Iehovà; toe ho liloveko rekets’ i anjomba’ey indatiy.
35 Thus shall you say every one to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, What has the Lord answered? and, what has the Lord said?
Fe songa hifanaontsy ty hoe aman-drañe’e naho aman-drahalahi’e: Ino ty navale’ Iehovà? ndra Ino ty nitsarae’ Iehovà?
36 And do you name no more the burden of the Lord; for his own word shall be a man's burden.
fe tsy ho tiahi’ areo ty nafè’ Iehovà; fa sambe hisaontsy ty enta’e avao ondatio ho fetse, ie nimengohe’ areo ty tsaran’ Añahare veloñe, Iehovà’ i Màroy, Andrianañaharentikañe.
37 But therefore, [say you], has the Lord our God spoken?
Ty hoe ka ty hatao’ areo ami’ty mpitoky: Ino ty natoi’ Iehovà azo? naho Ino ty nitsarae’ Iehovà?
38 Therefore thus says the Lord our God; Because you have spoken this word, The burden of the Lord, and I sent to you, saying, you shall not say, The burden of the Lord;
Fe anoe’areo ty hoe: Ty nafè’ Iehovà; le hoe t’Iehovà: kanao taroñe’ areo ty hoe: Ty nafè’ Iehovà, ie nafantoko ama’ areo ty hoe: Tsy ho saontsie’ areo ty hoe: Ty nafè’ Iehovà;
39 therefore, behold, I [will] seize, and dash down you and the city which I gave to you and your fathers.
Ingo toe handikofako nahareo, haitoako tsy ho añ’ atrefako eo rekets’ i rova natoloko aman-droae’ areoy;
40 And I will bring upon you an everlasting reproach, and everlasting disgrace, which shall not be forgotten.
vaho hapoko ama’ areo ty inje tsy ho modo naho ty hasalarañe kitro katroke tsy ho haliño.
