Esias 1
1 The vision which Esaias the son of Amos saw, which he saw against Juda, and against Jerusalem, in the reign of Ozias, and Joatham, and Achaz, and Ezekias, who reigned over Judea.
၁ဤကျမ်းစောင်တွင် ယုဒဘုရင်များဖြစ်သောသြဇိမင်း၊ ယောသံမင်း၊ အာခတ်မင်းနှင့်ဟေဇကိမင်းတို့၏လက်ထက်၌ ယုဒပြည်နှင့်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့အဘယ်သို့ဖြစ်ပျက်မည်ကို အာမုတ်၏သားဟေရှာယအားထာဝရဘုရားပေးတော်မူသောဗျာဒိတ်တော်များပါရှိ၏။
2 Hear, O heaven, and listen, O earth: for the Lord has spoken, [saying], I have begotten and reared up children, but they have rebelled against me.
၂ထာဝရဘုရားက``အို ကမ္ဘာမြေကြီးနှင့်မိုးကောင်းကင်တို့ ငါထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသောစကားကိုနားထောင်ကြလော့။ ငါကျွေးမွေးပြုစုထားသည့်သားသမီးများသည်ငါ့အားပုန်ကန်ကြလေပြီ။-
3 The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel does not know me, and the people has not regarded me.
၃ကျွဲနွားများသည်မိမိတို့ပိုင်ရှင်ကိုသိကြ၏။ မြင်းများသည်လည်းမိမိတို့သခင်၏မြင်းစောင်း၊ မိမိတို့သခင်အစာကျွေးရာအရပ်တို့ကိုသိကြ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်ငါ၏လူမျိုးတော်ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့မူကား ထိုမျှပင်မသိကြ။ သူတို့သည်အသိပညာခေါင်းပါးကြပါသည်တကား'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူပါ၏။
4 Ah sinful nation, a people full of sins, an evil seed, lawless children: you have forsaken the Lord, and provoked the Holy One of Israel.
၄``အချင်းအပြစ်ကူးသည့်လူမျိုး၊ ဖောက်ပြန်တတ်သူဒုစရိုက်သမားတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်အမင်္ဂလာရှိကြ၏။ သင်တို့သည်အပြစ်ဝန်ထုပ်ပိလျက်နေကြပါသည်တကား။ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၏သန့်ရှင်းမြင့်မြတ်သည့်ဘုရားသခင်ကိုပစ်ပယ်လျက် ကိုယ်တော်ကိုကျောခိုင်းကြလေပြီ။-
5 Why should you be struck [any] more, transgressing more and more? the whole head is pained, and the whole heart sad.
၅သင်တို့သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆက်လက်ပုန်ကန်လျက်နေကြပါသနည်း။ ယခုထက်ပင်ပိုမိုကြီးလေးသည့်အပြစ်ဒဏ်ကိုခံလိုကြပါသလော။ အချင်းဣသရေလပြည်သူတို့၊ သင်တို့၏ဦးခေါင်းသည်ဒဏ်ရာများဖြင့်ပြည့်လျက်ရှိ၏။ သင်တို့၏စိတ်နှလုံးသည်လည်းညှိုးနွမ်းလျက်နေ၏။-
6 From the feet to the head, there is no soundness in them; neither wound, nor bruise, nor festering ulcer [are healed]: it is not possible to apply a plaister, nor oil, nor bandages.
၆ခြေဖဝါးမှဦးခေါင်းတိုင်အောင် သင်တို့ကိုယ်တစ်ခုလုံးသည်အနာနှင့်ကင်းသည်ဟူ၍မရှိ။ ပွန်းပဲ့ကွဲရှနာများ၊ ဒဏ်ရာသစ်ဒဏ်ရာဟောင်းများနှင့်ပြည့်လျက်နေပေသည်။ ထိုဒဏ်ရာများကိုဆေးကြောကာ၊ အဝတ်ဖြင့်မပတ်မစည်းရကြသေး။ ဆေးလည်းမထည့်ရကြသေး။
7 Your land is desolate, your cities burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is made desolate, overthrown by strange nations.
၇သင်တို့၏ပြည်သည်ပျက်ပြုန်းရ၍၊ သင်တို့၏မြို့တို့သည်လည်းပြာပုံဆိုက်ကြလေပြီ။ သင်သည်ကြည့်ရှုလျက်နေစဉ်ပင်တိုင်းတစ်ပါးသားတို့သည် သင်၏နယ်မြေကိုသိမ်း၍အရာခပ်သိမ်းကိုဖျက်ဆီးစေကြပြီ။-
8 The daughter of Sion shall be deserted as a tent in a vineyard, and as a storehouse of fruits in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
၈အဝိုင်းခံလျက်နေရသည့်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့တစ်မြို့သာလျှင်ကျန်တော့၏။ ထိုမြို့ကားမိမိအတွက်ခုခံကာကွယ်နိုင်စွမ်းမရှိသည့်စပျစ်ဥယျာဉ်အစောင့်တဲကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်း၊ သခွားတောင်ယာတဲကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်းဖြစ်၍နေ၏။
9 And if the Lord of Sabaoth had not left us a seed, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been made like Gomorrha.
၉အကယ်၍အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားသာလျှင် မြို့သူမြို့သားအချို့တို့အားအသက်မသေဘဲကျန်ရစ်စေတော်မမူပါလျှင်၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သည် သောဒုံမြို့နှင့်ဂေါမောရမြို့တို့ကဲ့သို့လုံးဝပျက်သုဉ်း၍သွားမည်သာဖြစ်၏။
10 Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodoma; attend to the law of God, you people of Gomorrha.
၁၀အို ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၊ သင့်ကိုအုပ်စိုးသောမင်းများနှင့် သင်၏မြို့သူမြို့သားတို့သည်သောဒုံမြို့နှင့်ဂေါမောရမြို့မှလူတို့နှင့်တူကြ၏။ သင့်အားထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသောစကားတော်ကိုနားထောင်လော့။ ငါတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်သွန်သင်တော်မူသောအရာကိုအာရုံပြုလော့။-
11 Of what [value] to me is the abundance of your sacrifices? says the Lord: I am full of whole burnt offerings of rams; and I delight not in the fat of lambs, and the blood of bulls and goats:
၁၁ကိုယ်တော်က`သင်တို့ဆက်ကာဆက်ကာပူဇော်လျက်ရှိသည့်ယဇ်တို့ကိုငါအလိုရှိတော်မူသည်'' ဟုထင်မှတ်ကြပါသလော။ သင်တို့မီးရှို့ပူဇော်သည့်သိုးများနှင့်ဆူဖြိုးသောတိရစ္ဆာန်တို့၏ဆီဥများကိုငါငြီးငွေ့တော်မူပြီ။ သိုးနွားဆိတ်တို့၏သွေးများကိုလည်းငါမနှစ်သက်တော့ပေ။-
12 neither shall you come [with these] to appear before me; for who has required these things at your hands? You shall no more tread my court.
၁၂သင်တို့ငါ့ထံသို့ဝတ်ပြုကိုးကွယ်ရန်လာရောက်ကြသောအခါ ထိုအရာများကိုယူဆောင်လာရကြမည်ဟုသင်တို့အားအဘယ်သူစေခိုင်းပါသနည်း။ အဘယ်သူသည်သင်တို့အားငါ၏ဗိမာန်တော်တွင် ဤသို့ရှုပ်ယှက်ခတ်သွားလာစေပါသနည်း။-
13 Though you bring fine flour, [it is] vain; incense is an abomination to me; I can’t bear your new moons, and your sabbaths, and the great day;
၁၃သင်တို့၏အသုံးမကျသောပူဇော်သကာများကို နောက်တစ်ဖန်ငါအလိုမရှိ။ သင်တို့ပူဇော်သည့်နံ့သာပေါင်း၏ရနံ့ကိုငါရွံမုန်း၏။ သင်တို့၏လဆန်းပွဲနေ့များ၊ ဥပုသ်နေ့များနှင့်ဘာသာရေးပွဲနေ့များကိုငါစက်ဆုပ်၏။ သင်တို့၏အပြစ်များကြောင့်ထိုအရာများသည်ဖောက်ပြန်ပျက်စီးနေသည်။-
14 [your] fasting, and rest from work, your new moons also, and your feasts my soul hates: you have become loathsome to me; I will no more pardon your sins.
၁၄သင်တို့၏လဆန်းပွဲနေ့များနှင့်မြင့်မြတ်သန့်ရှင်းသောနေ့များကိုငါမုန်း၏။ ထိုပွဲသဘင်များသည်ငါမထမ်းလိုတော့သည့်ဝန်ထုပ်ဖြစ်ပေသည်။
15 When you stretch forth your hands, I will turn away mine eyes from you: and though you make many supplications, I will not listen to you; for your hands are full of blood.
၁၅``သင်တို့လက်အုပ်ချီ၍ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုကြသောအခါ ငါသည်သင်တို့အားလှည့်၍ကြည့်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။ သင်တို့၏လက်များသည်အပြစ်သွေးစွန်းလျက်နေသဖြင့် သင်တို့အဘယ်မျှပင်ပြင်းပြစွာဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုကြသော်လည်းငါနားထောင်လိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။-
16 Wash you, be clean; remove your iniquities from your souls before mine eyes; cease from your iniquities;
၁၆သင်တို့၏စိတ်နှလုံးကိုစင်ကြယ်အောင်ပြုကြလော့။ ငါ့ရှေ့တော်တွင်သင်တို့ပြုလျက်ရှိသည့်ဒုစရိုက်တို့ကိုရပ်စဲကြလော့။ ဒုစရိုက်ပြုမှုကိုရပ်စဲကာ၊-
17 learn to do well; diligently seek judgment, deliver him that is suffering wrong, plead for the orphan, and obtain justice for the widow.
၁၇သုစရိုက်ကိုပြုကြလော့။ ဖိနှိပ်ချုပ်ချယ်ခြင်းခံရသူတို့ကိုကူမ၍မိဘမဲ့သူများနှင့်မုဆိုးမတို့၏ အခွင့်အရေးများကိုကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် တရားဥပဒေစိုးမိုးမှုရှိအောင်ပြုကြလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူပါ၏။
18 And come, let us reason together, says the Lord: and though your sins be as purple, I will make them white as snow; and though they be as scarlet, I will make [them] white as wool.
၁၈ထာဝရဘုရားက``သင်တို့၏အမှုကို ယခုစဉ်းစားဆုံးဖြတ်ကြပါစို့။ သင်တို့သည်အပြစ်သွေးစွန်းလျက်ရှိကြ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်ငါသည်သင်တို့အားမိုးပွင့်ကဲ့သို့ဖြူစင်အောင် ဆေးကြောတော်မူမည်။ သင်တို့သည်အပြစ်သွေးဖြင့်နီမြန်းလျက်နေသော်လည်း ဝါဂွမ်းကဲ့သို့ဖြူဖွေး၍လာလိမ့်မည်။-
19 And if you be willing, and listen to me, you shall eat the good of the land:
၁၉အကယ်၍သင်တို့သည်ငါ၏စကားကိုနားထောင်မည်ဆိုပါက မြေထွက်သီးနှံကောင်းများကိုစားသုံးရကြလိမ့်မည်။-
20 but if you be not willing, nor listen to me, a sword shall devour you: for the mouth of the Lord has spoken this.
၂၀သို့ရာတွင်ငါ၏စကားကိုနားထောင်ရန်ငြင်းဆန်၍ ငါ့အားအာခံကြမည်ဆိုလျှင်မူကား သင်တို့သည်သေကြေပျက်စီးရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ဤကားငါထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသောစကားဖြစ်၏။
21 How has the faithful city Sion, [once] full of judgment, become a harlot! wherein righteousness lodged, but now murderers.
၂၁အခါတစ်ပါးကသစ္စာရှိခဲ့သောမြို့သည် ယခုအခါပြည့်တန်ဆာအသွင်ကိုဆောင်လျက်နေပါသည်တကား၊ အခါတစ်ပါးကထိုမြို့တွင်သူတော်ကောင်းများနေထိုင်ခဲ့သော်လည်း ယခုအခါ၌သူသတ်သမားများသာလျှင်ကျန်ရှိနေတော့၏။-
22 Your silver is worthless, your wine merchants mix the wine with water.
၂၂အို ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၊ သင်သည်အခါတစ်ပါးကငွေနှင့်တူခဲ့၏။ ယခုမူကားတန်ဖိုးမဲ့ဖြစ်၍နေလေပြီ။ ယခင်အခါကသင်သည်စပျစ်ရည်ကောင်းနှင့်တူခဲ့၏။ ယခုမှာမူရေပကတိဖြစ်၍နေတော့၏။-
23 Your princes are rebellious, companions of thieves, loving bribes, seeking after rewards; not pleading for orphans, and not heeding the cause of widows.
၂၃သင်၏ခေါင်းဆောင်တို့သည်လည်းသူပုန်များ၊ သူခိုးလက်ခံများဖြစ်ကြ၏။ သူတို့သည်အစဉ်ပင်တံစိုးလက်ဆောင်များကိုလက်ခံလျက်နေကြသော်လည်း တရားရုံးတော်တွင်မိဘမဲ့သူတို့အားကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်မှုကိုမပြုကြ။ မုဆိုးမတို့၏အမှုအခင်းများကိုလည်းကြားနာစစ်ဆေး၍မပေးကြ။
24 Therefore thus says the Lord, the Lord of hosts, Woe to the mighty [men] of Israel; for my wrath shall not cease against mine adversaries, and I will execute judgment on mine enemies.
၂၄သို့ဖြစ်၍တန်ခိုးတော်နှင့်ပြည့်စုံတော်မူသော ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်၊ အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည့်စကားကိုယခုနားထောင်လော့။ ကိုယ်တော်က``ငါသည်မိမိ၏ရန်သူတည်းဟူသောသင်တို့အားလက်စားချေတော်မူမည်ဖြစ်၍ သင်တို့သည်ငါ့ကိုအဘယ်သို့မျှဒုက္ခပေးနိုင်ကြတော့မည်မဟုတ်။-
25 And I will bring my hand upon you, and purge you completely, and I will destroy the rebellious, and will take away from you all transgressors.
၂၅ငါသည်သင့်အားအရေးယူအပြစ်ပေးမည်။ သတ္တု၏ချေးညှော်များကိုချွတ်သည့်နည်းတူ သင်၏အညစ်အကြေးများကိုလည်းချွတ်၍ သင့်အားသန့်စင်အောင်ငါပြုမည်။-
26 And I will establish your judges as before, and your counselors as at the beginning: and afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful mother-city of Sion.
၂၆ရှေးအခါကဲ့သို့သင့်အားခေါင်းဆောင်များနှင့် အတိုင်ပင်ခံအမတ်များကိုငါပေးမည်။ ထိုအခါယေရုရှလင်မြို့ကိုသူတော်ကောင်းတရားပြည့်ဝသည့်မြို့၊ သစ္စာရှိသည့်မြို့ဟုခေါ်ဝေါ်သမုတ်ကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူပါ၏။
27 For her captives shall be saved with judgment, and with mercy.
၂၇ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ဖြောင့်မှန်တော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့နှင့်နောင်တရသူမှန်သမျှကိုကယ်တင်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။-
28 And the transgressors and the sinners shall be crushed together, and they that forsake the Lord shall be utterly consumed.
၂၈သို့ရာတွင်ကိုယ်တော်သည်အပြစ်ကူးလွန်သူနှင့် မိမိကိုပုန်ကန်သူအပေါင်းတို့အားချေမှုန်းပစ်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ မိမိအားစွန့်ပစ်သူမှန်သမျှကိုသုတ်သင်ပယ်ရှင်းတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။
29 For they shall be ashamed of their idols, which they delighted in, and they are made ashamed of the gardens which they coveted.
၂၉သင်သည်သစ်ပင်များကိုဝတ်ပြုရှိခိုးမိခဲ့သည့်အတွက် ဝတ်ပြုကိုးကွယ်ရာဥယျာဉ်များကိုစိုက်ပျိုးမိခဲ့သည့်အတွက်ဝမ်းနည်းရလိမ့်မည်။-
30 For they shall be as a turpentine tree that has cast its leaves, and as a garden that has no water.
၃၀သင်သည်သေအံ့ဆဲဆဲရှိသောဝက်သစ်ချပင်နှင့် ရေမလောင်းသည့်ဥယျာဉ်ကဲ့သို့ညှိုးနွမ်းခြောက်သွေ့၍သွားလိမ့်မည်။-
31 And their strength shall be as a thread of tow, and their works as sparks, and the transgressors and the sinners shall be burnt up together, and there shall be none to quench [them].
၃၁သစ်ခြောက်သည်မီးပွားကြောင့်မီးစွဲလောင်ရသည်နည်းတူတန်ခိုးကြီးမားသူတို့သည်လည်း မိမိတို့၏ဒုစရိုက်များကြောင့်ဆုံးပါးပျက်စီးရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ယင်းသို့ဆုံးပါးပျက်စီးမှုကိုလည်းအဘယ်သူမျှဆီးတား၍ရလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်'' ဟုမြွက်ဆိုလေသည်။
