Esias 7
1 And it came to pass in the days of Achaz [the son] of Joatham, the son of Ozias, king of Juda, there came up Rasim king of Aram, and Phakee son of Romelias, king of Israel, against Jerusalem to war against it, but they could not take it.
೧ಯೋಥಾಮನ ಮಗನೂ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನ, ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಪೆಕಹ ಎಂಬುವವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಂಡೆತ್ತಿ ಬಂದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
2 And a message was brought to the house of David, saying, Aram has conspired with Ephraim. And his soul was amazed, and the soul of his people, as in a wood a tree is moved by the wind.
೨ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆಂಬ ಸುದ್ದಿಯು ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಆಹಾಜನ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ಹೃದಯವು ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ವನವೃಕ್ಷಗಳು ಅಲ್ಲಾಡುವಂತೆ ನಡುಗಿದವು.
3 And the Lord said to Esaias, Go forth to meet Achaz, you, and your son Jasub who is left, to the pool of the upper way of the fuller's field.
೩ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೆಶಾಯನಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು, “ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗ ಶೆಯಾರ್ ಯಾಶೂಬನನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಅಗಸರ ಹೊಲದ ಕಡೆ ಹೋಗುವ ರಾಜಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಲಿನ ಕೆರೆಯ ಕಾಲುವೆಯ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಹಾಜನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು,
4 And you shall say to him, Take care to be quiet, and fear not, neither let your soul be disheartened because of these two smoking firebrands: for when my fierce anger is over, I will heal again.
೪‘ಜಾಗರೂಕನಾಗಿ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರು, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ. ರೆಚೀನ, ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ, ಪೆಕಹ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪೆಕಹನ ಕೋಪವು ಎಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದರೂ ಹೊಗೆಯಾಡುವ ಈ ಎರಡು ಮೋಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕುಂದದಿರಲಿ.’”
5 And [as for] the son of Aram, and the son of Romelias, forasmuch as they have devised an evil counsel, [saying],
೫ಅರಾಮ್ಯರೂ, ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯರೂ ಮತ್ತು ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ದುರಾಲೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿ,
6 We will go up against Judea, and having conferred with them we will turn them away to our side, and we will make the son of Tabeel king of it;
೬“ನಾವು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಂಡೆತ್ತಿ ಹೆದರಿಸಿ, ಒಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಟಬೇಲನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
7 thus says the Lord of hosts, This counsel shall not abide, nor come to pass.
೭ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ಇದು ನೆರವೇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಇದು ಆಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
8 But the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus, Rasim; and yet within sixty and five years the kingdom of Ephraim shall cease from [being] a people.
೮ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅರಾಮಿಗೆ ಶಿರಸ್ಸು ದಮಸ್ಕ, ದಮಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿರಸ್ಸು ರೆಚೀನ. ಅರುವತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯರು ಭಂಗಪಟ್ಟು ಜನಾಂಗವೆನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳರು.
9 And the head of Ephraim is Somoron, and the head of Somoron the son of Romelias: but if you believe not, neither will you at all understand.
೯ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮಿಗೆ ಶಿರಸ್ಸು ಸಮಾರ್ಯ, ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿರಸ್ಸು ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನು ತಾನೇ. ನೀವು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನೀವು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂಬುದೇ.
10 And the Lord again spoke to Achaz, saying,
೧೦ಮತ್ತೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಹಾಜನಿಗೆ,
೧೧“ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಗುರುತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು. ಅದು ಪಾತಾಳದಷ್ಟು ಆಳದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ, ಮೇಲೆ ಎತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೋ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. (Sheol h7585)
12 And Achaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the Lord.
೧೨ಆಗ ಆಹಾಜನು, “ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದನು.
13 And he said, Hear you now, O house of David; is it a little thing for you to contend with men? and how do you contend against the Lord?
೧೩ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು, “ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು ಅಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲವೆಂದೆಣಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸಹ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳಿಸುವಿರಾ?
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive in the womb, and shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Emmanuel.
೧೪ಆದಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತನು ತಾನೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದು ಗುರುತನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವನು. ಇಗೋ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕನ್ನಿಕೆಯು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹಡೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಇಮ್ಮಾನುವೇಲ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಡುವರು.
15 Butter and honey shall he eat, before he knows either to prefer evil [or] choose the good.
೧೫ಆತನು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಷ್ಟು ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಯು ಬರುವ ತನಕ ಮೊಸರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಜೇನುತುಪ್ಪವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವನು.
16 For before the child shall know good or evil, he refuses evil, to choose the good; and the land shall be forsaken which you are afraid of because of the two kings.
೧೬“ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಮಗುವು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ ನೀನು ಭಯಪಡುವ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಅರಸರು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿಬಿಡುವರು.
17 But God shall bring upon you, and upon your people, and upon the house of your father, days which have never come, from the day that Ephraim took away from Juda the king of the Assyrians.
೧೭ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಯೆಹೂದದಿಂದ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮು ಅಗಲಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನ ಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದ ದುರ್ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವನು.”
18 And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord shall hiss for the flies, which [insect] shall rule over a part of the river of Egypt, and for the bee which is in the land of the Assyrians.
೧೮ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ನದಿಗಳ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಬರುವ ನೊಣಕ್ಕೂ, ಅಶ್ಶೂರ ದೇಶದ ದುಂಬಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸಿಳ್ಳುಹಾಕುವನು.
19 And they all shall enter into the clefts of the land, and into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves, and into every ravine.
೧೯ಅವು ಬಂದು ಕಡಿದಾದ ಕಣಿವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಬಂಡೆಗಳ ಸಂದುಗೊಂದುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಪೊದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಗೋಮಾಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವು.
20 In that day the Lord shall shave with the hired razor of the king of Assyria beyond the river the head, and the hairs of the feet, and will remove the beard.
೨೦ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೂಫ್ರೆಟಿಸ್ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಗಿರುವ ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ಅರಸನೆಂಬ ಬಾಡಿಗೆಯ ಕ್ಷೌರದ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದದ ತಲೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಕಾಲಿನ ಕೂದಲನ್ನೂ ಬೋಳಿಸುವನು ಹಾಗೂ ಗಡ್ಡವನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡುವನು.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] a man shall rear a heifer, and two sheep.
೨೧ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಒಂದು ಹಸುವಿನ ಕರುವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡು ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಕುವನು.
22 And it shall come to pass from their drinking an abundance of milk, [that] every one that is left on the land shall eat butter and honey.
೨೨ಅವು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹಾಲನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಮೊಸರನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಮೊಸರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಜೇನುತುಪ್ಪವನ್ನು ತಿಂದು ಜೀವಿಸುವನು.
23 And it shall come to pass in that day, [for] every place where there shall be a thousand vines at a thousand shekels, they shall become barren land and thorns.
೨೩ಆಗ ಸಾವಿರ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಬೆಲೆಯ ಸಹಸ್ರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಬಳ್ಳಿಗಳು ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮುಳ್ಳು ಮತ್ತು ದತ್ತೂರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುದು.
24 [Men] shall enter there with arrow and bow; for all the land shall be [barren] ground and thorns.
೨೪ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಮತ್ತು ದತ್ತೂರಿಗಳ ಪೊದೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದಿಂದ ಜನರು ಬಿಲ್ಲುಬಾಣಗಳೊಡನೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವರು.
25 And every mountain shall be certainly plowed: there shall no fear come there: for there shall be from [among] the [barren] ground and thorns that whereon cattle shall feed and oxen shall tread.
೨೫ಗುದ್ದಲಿಯಿಂದ ಅಗೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯಾವ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೂ ನೀನು ಮುಳ್ಳು ದತ್ತೂರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬರಲಾರದೇ ಇರುವಿ. ಆದರೆ ಅದು ದನಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಕುರಿಗಳು ತುಳಿದಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವುದು.
