Esias 63
1 Who is this that is come from Edom, [with] red garments from Bosor? thus fair in his apparel, with mighty strength? I speak of righteousness and saving judgment.
എദോമിൽ നിന്നു, രക്താംബരം ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ബൊസ്രയിൽനിന്നു വരുന്നോരിവൻ ആർ? വസ്ത്രാലംകൃതനായി തന്റെ ശക്തിയുടെ മാഹാത്മ്യത്തിൽ നടകൊള്ളുന്നോരിവൻ ആർ? നീതിയെ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നവനും രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ വല്ലഭനുമായ ഞാൻ തന്നേ.
2 Therefore are your garments red, and your raiment as [if fresh] from a trodden winepress?
നിന്റെ ഉടുപ്പു ചുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നതെന്തു? നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രം മുന്തിരിച്ചക്കു ചവിട്ടുന്നവന്റേതുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നതെന്തു?
3 I am full of trodden [grape], and of the nations there is not a man with me; and I trampled them in my fury, and dashed them to pieces as earth, and brought down their blood to the earth.
ഞാൻ ഏകനായി മുന്തിരിച്ചക്കു ചവിട്ടി; ജാതികളിൽ ആരും എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവരെ ചവിട്ടി, എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ അവരെ മെതിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവരുടെ രക്തം എന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിൽ തെറിച്ചു; എന്റെ ഉടുപ്പൊക്കെയും മലിനമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
4 For the day of recompence has come upon them, and the year of redemption is at hand.
ഞാൻ ഒരു പ്രതികാരദിവസം കരുതിയിരുന്നു; എന്റെ വിമുക്തന്മാരുടെ സംവത്സരം വന്നിരുന്നു.
5 And I looked, and there was no helper; and I observed, and none upheld: therefore my arm delivered them, and mine anger drew near.
ഞാൻ നോക്കി എങ്കിലും സഹായിപ്പാൻ ആരുമില്ലായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ വിസ്മയിച്ചു നോക്കി എങ്കിലും തുണെപ്പാൻ ആരെയും കണ്ടില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ ഭുജം തന്നേ എനിക്കു രക്ഷ വരുത്തി; എന്റെ ക്രോധം തന്നേ എനിക്കു തുണനിന്നു.
6 And I trampled them in mine anger, and brought down their blood to the earth.
ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ ജാതികളെ ചവിട്ടി, എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ അവരെ തകർത്തു, അവരുടെ രക്തത്തെ ഞാൻ നിലത്തു വീഴ്ത്തിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
7 I remembered the mercy of the Lord, the praises of the Lord in all things wherein he recompenses us. The Lord is a good judge to the house of Israel; he deals with us according to his mercy, and according to the abundance of his righteousness.
യഹോവ നമുക്കു നല്കിയതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രീതിവാത്സല്യത്തെയും യഹോവയുടെ സ്തുതിയെയും അവന്റെ കരുണക്കും മഹാദയെക്കും ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവൻ യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തിന്നു കാണിച്ച വലിയ നന്മയെയും കീർത്തിക്കും.
8 And he said, Is it not my people? the children surely will not be rebellious: and he became to them deliverance
അവർ എന്റെ ജനം, കപടം കാണിക്കാത്ത മക്കൾ തന്നേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവൻ അവർക്കു രക്ഷിതാവായിത്തീർന്നു.
9 out of all their affliction: not an ambassador, nor a messenger, but himself saved them, because he loved them and spared them: he himself redeemed them, and took them up, and lifted them up all the days of old.
അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ ഒക്കെയും അവൻ കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു; അവന്റെ സമ്മുഖദൂതൻ അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു; തന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിലും കനിവിലും അവൻ അവരെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു; പുരാതനകാലത്തൊക്കെയും അവൻ അവരെ ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു നടന്നു.
10 But they disobeyed, and provoked his Holy Spirit: so he turned to be an enemy, he himself contended against them.
എന്നാൽ അവർ മത്സരിച്ചു അവന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ ദുഃഖിപ്പിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവർക്കു ശത്രുവായ്തീർന്നു താൻ തന്നേ അവരോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു.
11 Then he remembered the ancient days, [saying], Where is he that brought up from the sea the shepherd of the sheep? where is he that put his Holy Spirit in them?
അപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ജനം മോശെയുടെ കാലമായ പുരാതന കാലം ഓർത്തു പറഞ്ഞതു: അവരെ തന്റെ ആടുകളുടെ ഇടയനോടുകൂടെ സമുദ്രത്തിൽ നിന്നു കരേറുമാറാക്കിയവൻ എവിടെ? അവരുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ തന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ കൊടുത്തവൻ എവിടെ?
12 who led Moses with his right hand, the arm of his glory? he forced the water [to separate] from before him, to make himself an everlasting name.
തന്റെ മഹത്വമുള്ള ഭുജം മോശെയുടെ വലങ്കൈക്കൽ ചെല്ലുമാറാക്കി തനിക്കു ഒരു ശാശ്വതനാമം ഉണ്ടാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെള്ളം വിഭാഗിക്കയും
13 He led them through the deep, as a horse through the wilderness, and they fainted not,
അവർ ഇടറാതവണ്ണം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ഒരു കുതിരയെപ്പോലെ അവരെ ആഴങ്ങളിൽകൂടി നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തവൻ എവിടെ?
14 and as cattle through a plain: the Spirit came down from the Lord, and guided them: thus you led your people, to make yourself a glorious name.
താഴ്‌വരയിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുന്ന കന്നുകാലികളെപ്പോലെ യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവു അവരെ തഞ്ചുമാറാക്കി; അങ്ങനെ നീ നിനക്കു മഹത്വമുള്ളോരു നാമം ഉണ്ടാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ നടത്തി.
15 Turn from heaven, and look from your holy habitation and [from] your glory: where is your zeal and your strength? where is the abundance of your mercy and of your compassions, that you have withholden yourself from us?
സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു നോക്കി, വിശുദ്ധിയും മഹത്വവുമുള്ള നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമേ! നിന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണതയും വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളും എവിടെ? നിന്റെ മനസ്സലിവും കരുണയും എന്നോടു കാണിക്കാതവണ്ണം നീ അടക്കിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
16 For you are our Father; for [though] Abraham knew us not, and Israel did not acknowledge us, yet do you, O Lord, our Father, deliver us: your name has been upon us from the beginning.
നീയല്ലോ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു; അബ്രാഹാം ഞങ്ങളെ അറിയുന്നില്ല; യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ തിരിയുന്നതുമില്ല; നീയോ യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവാകുന്നു; യുഗാരംഭംമുതൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരൻ എന്നാകുന്നു നിന്റെ നാമം.
17 Why have you caused us to err, O Lord, from your way? [and] has hardened our hearts, that we should not fear you? Return for your servants' sake, for the sake of the tribes of your inheritance,
യഹോവേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ വഴി വിട്ടു തെറ്റുമാറാക്കുന്നതും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടാതവണ്ണം ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ കഠിനമാക്കുന്നതും എന്തു? നിന്റെ അവകാശഗോത്രങ്ങളായ നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാർനിമിത്തം മടങ്ങിവരേണമേ.
18 that we may inherit a small part of your holy mountain.
നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധജനത്തിന്നു അല്പകാലത്തേക്കു മാത്രം കൈവശമായ ശേഷം നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വൈരികൾ ചവിട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
19 We are become as at the beginning, when you did not rule over us, and your name was not called upon us.
ഞങ്ങൾ ഇതാ, നീ ഒരിക്കലും വാണിട്ടില്ലാത്തവരും നിന്റെ നാമം വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്തവരും എന്നപോലെ ആയിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
