Esias 6
1 And it came to pass in the year in which king Ozias died, [that] I saw the Lord sitting on a high and exalted throne, and the house was full of his glory.
| در سالی که عزیا پادشاه مرد، خداوند رادیدم که بر کرسی بلند و عالی نشسته بود، و هیکل از دامنهای وی پر بود. | ۱ |
2 And seraphs stood round about him: each one had six wings: and with two they covered [their] face, and with two they covered [their] feet, and with two they flew.
| و سرافین بالای آن ایستاده بودند که هر یک از آنها شش بال داشت، و با دو از آنها روی خود را می‌پوشانید و بادو پایهای خود را می‌پوشانید و با دو پروازمی نمود. | ۲ |
3 And one cried to the other, and they said, Holy, holy, holy [is the] Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
| و یکی دیگری را صدا زده، می‌گفت: «قدوس قدوس قدوس یهوه صبایوت، تمامی زمین از جلال او مملو است.» | ۳ |
4 And the lintel shook at the voice they uttered, and the house was filled with smoke.
| و اساس آستانه ازآواز او که صدا می‌زد می‌لرزید و خانه از دود پرشد. | ۴ |
5 And I said, Woe is me, for I am pricked to the heart; for being a man, and having unclean lips, I dwell in the midst of a people having unclean lips; and I have seen with mine eyes the King, the Lord of hosts.
| پس گفتم: «وای بر من که هلاک شده‌ام زیراکه مرد ناپاک لب هستم و در میان قوم ناپاک لب ساکنم و چشمانم یهوه صبایوت پادشاه را دیده است.» | ۵ |
6 And there was sent to me one of the seraphs, and he had in his hand a coal, which he had taken off the altar with the tongs:
| آنگاه یکی از سرافین نزد من پرید و در دست خود اخگری که با انبر از روی مذبح گرفته بود، داشت. | ۶ |
7 and he touched my mouth, and said, Behold, this has touched your lips, and will take away your iniquities, and will purge off your sins.
| و آن را بر دهانم گذارده، گفت که «اینک این لبهایت را لمس کرده است و عصیانت رفع شده و گناهت کفاره گشته است.» | ۷ |
8 And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go to this people? And I said, behold, I am [here], send me. And he said, Go, and say to this people,
| آنگاه آواز خداوند را شنیدم که می‌گفت: «که را بفرستم و کیست که برای ما برود؟» گفتم: «لبیک مرا بفرست.» | ۸ |
9 You shall hear indeed, but you shall not understand; and you shall see indeed, but you shall not perceive.
| گفت: «برو و به این قوم بگو البته خواهید شنید، اما نخواهید فهمید و هرآینه خواهید نگریست اما درک نخواهید کرد. | ۹ |
10 For the heart of this people has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
| دل این قوم را فربه ساز و گوشهای ایشان را سنگین نما و چشمان ایشان را ببند، مبادا با چشمان خودببینند و با گوشهای خود بشنوند و با دل خود بفهمند و بازگشت نموده، شفا یابند.» | ۱۰ |
11 And I said, How long, O Lord? And he said, Until cities be deserted by reason of their not being inhabited, and the houses by reason of there being no men, and the land shall be left desolate.
| پس من گفتم: «ای خداوند تا به کی؟» او گفت: «تا وقتی که شهرها ویران گشته، غیر مسکون باشد و خانه هابدون آدمی و زمین خراب و ویران شود. | ۱۱ |
12 And after this God shall remove the men far off, and they that are left upon the land shall be multiplied.
| وخداوند مردمان را دور کند و در میان زمین خرابیهای بسیار شود. | ۱۲ |
13 And yet there shall be a tenth upon it, and again it shall be for a spoil, as a turpentine tree, and as an acorn when it falls out of its husk.
| اما باز عشری در آن خواهد بود و آن نیز بار دیگر تلف خواهد گردیدمثل درخت بلوط و چنار که چون قطع می‌شودکنده آنها باقی می‌ماند، همچنان ذریت مقدس کنده آن خواهد بود.» | ۱۳ |
