Esias 54
1 Rejoice, you barren that bear not; break forth and cry, you that do not travail: for more are the children of the desolate than of her that has a husband: for the Lord has said,
੧ਹੇ ਬਾਂਝ, ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਣੀ, ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਗਜਾ! ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਗਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਚਿੱਲਾ, ਤੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ! ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤਿਆਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਸੁਹਾਗਣ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਬਚਨ ਹੈ।
2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and of your curtains: fix [the pins], spare not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pins;
੨ਆਪਣੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੌੜਾ ਕਰ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੜਦੇ ਤਾਣਨ, ਤੂੰ ਸਰਫ਼ਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਰੱਸੀਆਂ ਲੰਮੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਕੀਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਕੜਾ ਕਰ!
3 spread forth [your tent] yet to the right and the left: for your seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and you shall make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
੩ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਸੱਜੇ ਖੱਬੇ ਫੈਲੇਂਗੀ, ਤੇਰੀ ਅੰਸ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉੱਜੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਸਾਵੇਗੀ।
4 Fear not, because you has been put to shame, neither be confounded, because you was reproached: for you shall forget your former shame, and shall no more at all remember the reproach of your widowhood.
੪ਨਾ ਡਰ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਂਗੀ, ਨਾ ਘਬਰਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੀ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਂਗੀ, ਤੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੁਆਨੀ ਦੀ ਲਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਵੇਂਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੰਡੇਪੇ ਦੇ ਉਲਾਂਭੇ ਨੂੰ ਫੇਰ ਯਾਦ ਨਾ ਕਰੇਂਗੀ।
5 For [it is] the Lord that made you; the Lord of hosts is his name: and he that delivered you, he is the God of Israel, [and] shall be called [so] by the whole earth.
੫ਤੇਰਾ ਪਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਹੈ, ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ। ਤੇਰਾ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
6 The Lord has not called you as a deserted and faint-hearted woman, nor as a woman hated from [her] youth, says your God.
੬ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗਣ ਇਸਤਰੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ, ਜੁਆਨੀ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਛੱਡੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ, ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
7 For a little while I left you: but with great mercy will I have compassion upon you.
੭ਕੁਝ ਪਲ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਰਹਮਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
8 In a little wrath I turned away my face from you; but with everlasting mercy will I have compassion upon you, says the Lord that delivers you.
੮ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਕੁਝ ਪਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਲੁਕਾ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਦਯਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਮ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੇਰਾ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
9 From the time of the water of Noe this is my [purpose]: as I sware to him at that time, [saying] of the earth, I will no more be angry with you, neither when you are threatened,
੯ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਨੂਹ ਦੀ ਪਰਲੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਹੈ, - ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿ ਨੂਹ ਦੀ ਪਰਲੋ ਫੇਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾ ਆਵੇਗੀ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਨਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਾਂਗਾ।
10 shall the mountains depart, nor shall your hills be removed: so neither shall my mercy fail you, nor shall the covenant of your peace be at all removed: for the Lord [who is] gracious to you has spoken [it].
੧੦ਭਾਵੇਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਤੇ ਟਿੱਲੇ ਹਿਲਾਏ ਜਾਣ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਨਾ ਰਹੇਗੀ, ਨਾ ਮੇਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਾ ਨੇਮ ਹਿੱਲੇਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਯਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
11 Afflicted and outcast you has not been comforted: behold, I [will] prepare carbuncle [for] your stones, and sapphire for your foundations;
੧੧ਹੇ ਦੁਖਿਆਰੀਏ, ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰ ਦੀਏ ਮਾਰੀਏ ਹੋਈਏ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ, ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੀਰੋਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਨੀਂਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਲਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਾਂਗਾ।
12 and I will make your buttresses jasper, and your gates crystal, and your border precious stones.
੧੨ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਲਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ, ਤੇਰੇ ਫਾਟਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਹਰਾਤ ਨਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਮੁੱਲੇ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
13 And [I will cause] all your sons [to be] taught of God, and your children [to be] in great peace.
੧੩ਤੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਿੱਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
14 And you shall be built in righteousness: abstain from injustice, and you shall not fear; and trembling shall not come near you.
੧੪ਤੂੰ ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹੇਂਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹੇਂਗੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਨਾ ਡਰੇਂਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਖੌਫ਼ ਨਾ ਖਾਵੇਂਗੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਾ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
15 Behold, strangers shall come to you by me, and shall sojourn with you, and shall run to you for refuge.
੧੫ਵੇਖ, ਉਹ ਝਗੜਾ ਛੇੜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜੇ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਡਿੱਗੇਗਾ।
16 Behold, I have created you, not as the coppersmith blowing coals, and bringing out a vessel [fit] for work; but I have created you, not for ruin, that [I] should destroy [you].
੧੬ਵੇਖ, ਮੈਂ ਲੁਹਾਰ ਉਤਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਕੋਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਧੌਂਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਸੰਦ ਕੱਢਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਉਜਾੜਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
17 I will not suffer any weapon formed against you to prosper; and every voice that shall rise up against you for judgment, you shall vanquish them all; and your adversaries shall be [condemned] thereby. There is an inheritance to them that serve the Lord, and you shall be righteous before me, says the Lord.
੧੭ਹਰੇਕ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਨਿਕੰਮਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਹਰੇਕ ਜੀਭ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਨਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਉੱਠੇ, ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਵੇਂਗੀ - ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਧਰਮੀ ਠਹਿਰਣਗੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ।
