< Esias 35 >
1 Be glad, you thirsty desert: let the wilderness exult, and flower as the lily.
Aginjù àti ìyàngbẹ ilẹ̀ yóò yọ̀ fún wọn; aginjù yóò ṣe àjọyọ̀ yóò sì kún fún ìtànná. Gẹ́gẹ́ bí ewéko,
2 And the desert places of Jordan shall blossom and rejoice; the glory of Libanus has been given to it, and the honor of Carmel; and my people shall see the glory of the Lord, and the majesty of God.
ní títanná yóò tanná; yóò yọ ayọ̀ ńlá ńlá yóò sì kọrin. Ògo Lebanoni ni a ó fi fún un, ẹwà Karmeli àti Ṣaroni; wọn yóò rí ògo Olúwa, àti ẹwà Ọlọ́run wa.
3 Be strong, you relaxed hands and palsied knees.
Fún ọwọ́ àìlera lókun, mú orúnkún tí ń yẹ̀ lókun.
4 Comfort one another, you faint-hearted; be strong, fear not; behold, our God renders judgment, and he will render [it]; he will come and save us.
Sọ fún àwọn oníbẹ̀rù ọkàn pé, “Ẹ ṣe gírí, ẹ má bẹ̀rù; Ọlọ́run yín yóò wá, òun yóò wá pẹ̀lú ìgbẹ̀san; pẹ̀lú ìgbẹ̀san mímọ́ òun yóò wá láti gbà yín là.”
5 Then shall the eyes of the blind be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall hear.
Nígbà náà ni a ó la ojú àwọn afọ́jú àti etí àwọn odi kì yóò dákẹ́.
6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the stammerers shall speak plainly; for water has burst forth in the desert, and a channel [of water] in a thirsty land.
Nígbà náà ni àwọn arọ yóò máa fò bí àgbọ̀nrín, àti ahọ́n odi yóò ké fún ayọ̀. Odò yóò tú jáde nínú aginjù àti àwọn odò nínú aṣálẹ̀.
7 And the dry land shall become pools, and a fountain of water shall [be poured] into the thirsty land; there shall there be a joy of birds, ready habitations and marshes.
Ilẹ̀ iyanrìn yíyan yóò di àbàtà, ilẹ̀ tí ń pòǹgbẹ yóò di orísun omi. Ní ibùgbé àwọn dragoni, níbi tí olúkúlùkù dùbúlẹ̀, ni ó jẹ́ ọgbà fún eèsún àti papirusi.
8 There shall be there a pure way, and it shall be called a holy way; and there shall not pass by there any unclean person, neither shall there be there an unclean way; but the dispersed shall walk on it, and they shall not go astray.
Àti òpópónà kan yóò wà níbẹ̀: a ó sì máa pè é ní ọ̀nà ìwà mímọ́. Àwọn aláìmọ́ kì yóò tọ ọ̀nà náà; yóò sì wà fún àwọn tí ń rìn ní ọ̀nà náà, àwọn ìkà búburú kì yóò gba ibẹ̀ kọjá.
9 And there shall be no lion there, neither shall any evil beast go up upon it, nor at all be found there; but the redeemed and gathered on the Lord's behalf, shall walk in it,
Kì yóò sí kìnnìún níbẹ̀, tàbí kí ẹranko búburú kí ó dìde lórí i rẹ̀; a kì yóò rí wọn níbẹ̀. Ṣùgbọ́n àwọn ẹni ìràpadà nìkan ni yóò rìn níbẹ̀,
10 and shall return, and come to Sion with joy, and everlasting joy [shall be] over their head; for on their head [shall be] praise and exultation, and joy shall take possession of them: sorrow and pain, and groaning have fled away.
àwọn ẹni ìràpadà Olúwa yóò padà wá. Wọn yóò wọ Sioni wá pẹ̀lú orin; ayọ̀ ayérayé ni yóò dé wọn ní orí. Ìdùnnú àti ayọ̀ ni yóò borí i wọn, ìkorò àti ìtìjú yóò sì sá kúrò lọ́dọ̀ wọn.
