Esias 34
1 Draw near, you nations; and listen, you princes; let the earth hear, and they that are in it; the world, and the people that are therein.
രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളേ, അടുത്തുവന്നു കേൾക്കുക; ജനതകളേ, ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക! ഭൂമിയും അതിലുള്ള സമസ്തവും ഭൂതലവും അതിൽ മുളയ്ക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും കേൾക്കട്ടെ!
2 For the wrath of the Lord is upon all nations, and [his] anger upon the number of them, to destroy them, and give them up to slaughter.
യഹോവയുടെ കോപം എല്ലാ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളോടും അവിടത്തെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെ സകലസൈന്യങ്ങളോടും ആകുന്നു. അവിടന്ന് അവരെ സമ്പൂർണമായി നശിപ്പിക്കും, അവിടന്ന് അവരെ കൊലയ്ക്കായി വിട്ടുകൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
3 And their slain shall be cast forth, and their corpses; and their [ill] savor shall come up, and the mountains shall be made wet with their blood.
അവരുടെ ഹതന്മാരെ എറിഞ്ഞുകളയപ്പെടും, അവരുടെ ശവങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ദുർഗന്ധം വമിക്കും; പർവതങ്ങൾ അവരുടെ രക്തംകൊണ്ടു കുതിരും.
4 And all the powers of the heavens shall melt, and the sky shall be rolled up like a scroll: and all the stars shall fall like leaves from a vine, and as leaves fall from a fig tree.
ആകാശസൈന്യമെല്ലാം അലിഞ്ഞുപോകും, ആകാശം ഒരു തുകൽച്ചുരുൾപോലെ ചുരുണ്ടുപോകും; മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ ഇലകൾ വാടിക്കൊഴിയുന്നതുപോലെയും അത്തിമരത്തിൽനിന്ന് കായ്കൾ പൊഴിയുന്നതുപോലെയും അതിലെ സൈന്യമൊക്കെയും കൊഴിഞ്ഞുവീഴും.
5 My sword has been made drunk in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and with judgment upon the people doomed to destruction.
എന്റെ വാൾ ആകാശമണ്ഡലങ്ങളിൽ അതിന്റെ ദൗത്യം പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചുകഴിയുമ്പോൾ; ഇതാ, അത് ന്യായവിധിക്കായി ഏദോമിന്മേൽ, നാശത്തിനായി ഞാൻ നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ജനതയുടെമേൽത്തന്നെ പതിക്കും.
6 The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it is glutted with fat, with the blood of goats and lambs, and with the fat of goats and rams: for the Lord has a sacrifice in Bosor, and a great slaughter in Idumea.
യഹോവയുടെ വാൾ രക്തംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു, അതിൽ കൊഴുപ്പു പൊതിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു— ചെമ്മരിയാടുകളുടെയും കോലാടുകളുടെയും രക്തംകൊണ്ടും മുട്ടാടുകളുടെ വൃക്കകളിലെ കൊഴുപ്പുകൊണ്ടുംതന്നെ. യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ബൊസ്രായിൽ ഒരു യാഗവും ഏദോം ദേശത്ത് ഒരു മഹാസംഹാരവുമുണ്ട്.
7 And the mighty ones shall fall with them, and the rams and the bulls; and the land shall be soaked with blood, and shall be filled with their fat.
കാട്ടുകാളകൾ അവയോടൊപ്പം വീഴും, കാളക്കിടാങ്ങളും മൂരികളും വീണുപോകും. അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ ദേശം രക്തം വീണു നനയും, അതിലെ പൊടി മൃഗക്കൊഴുപ്പുകൊണ്ട് കുതിരും.
8 For it is the day of judgment of the Lord, and the year of the recompence of Sion in judgment.
കാരണം അത് യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഒരു പ്രതികാരദിവസവും സീയോനുവേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരംചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു വർഷവും ആകുന്നു.
9 And her valleys shall be turned into pitch, and her land into sulphur; and her land shall be as pitch burning night and day;
ഏദോമിന്റെ തോടുകളിൽ കീൽ കുത്തിയൊലിച്ചൊഴുകും, അവളുടെ മണ്ണ് കത്തുന്ന ഗന്ധകമായി മാറും നിലം ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന കീലായും തീരും!
10 and it shall never be quenched, and her smoke shall go up: it shall be made desolate throughout her generations,
രാത്രിയും പകലും അത് അണയാതിരിക്കും; അതിന്റെ പുക നിരന്തരം ഉയർന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും. തലമുറതലമുറയായി അതു ശൂന്യമായിക്കിടക്കും; ഒരിക്കലും ആരും അതുവഴി കടന്നുപോകുകയില്ല.
11 and for a long time birds and hedgehogs, and ibises and ravens shall dwell in it: and the measuring line of desolation shall be cast over it, and satyrs shall dwell in it.
മൂങ്ങയും നത്തും അതു കൈവശമാക്കും; കൂമനും മലങ്കാക്കയും അതിൽ കൂടുകെട്ടും. ദൈവം ഏദോമിന്റെമേൽ സംഭ്രമത്തിന്റെ അളവുനൂലും ശൂന്യതയുടെ തൂക്കുകട്ടയും പിടിക്കും.
12 Her princes shall be no more; for her kings and her great men shall be destroyed.
അവളുടെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്ക് രാജ്യം എന്നു വിളിക്കാൻ കഴിയുംവിധം ഒന്നും ഉണ്ടാകുകയില്ല, അവളുടെ എല്ലാ ഭരണാധിപന്മാരും ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.
13 And thorns shall spring up in their cities, and in her strong holds: and they shall be habitations of monsters, and a court of ostriches.
അവളുടെ അരമനകളിൽ മുള്ളും കോട്ടകളിൽ ചൊറിയണവും ഞെരിഞ്ഞിലും വളരും. അവൾ കുറുനരികളുടെ സങ്കേതവും ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷികളുടെ താവളവുമായി മാറും.
14 And devils shall meet with satyrs, and they shall cry one to the other: there shall satyrs rest, having found for themselves [a place of] rest.
അവിടെ മരുഭൂമിയിലെ മൃഗങ്ങൾ കഴുതപ്പുലികളോട് ഏറ്റുമുട്ടും, കാട്ടാടുകൾതമ്മിൽ പോർവിളി നടത്തും; നിശാജന്തുക്കൾ അവിടെ കിടക്കുകയും അവയ്ക്കുവേണ്ടി വിശ്രമസ്ഥാനം കണ്ടെത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.
15 There has the hedgehog made its nest, and the earth has safely preserved its young: there have the deer met, and seen one another's faces.
അവിടെ മൂങ്ങ കൂടുകെട്ടി മുട്ടയിടും, അവൾ അതു വിരിയിച്ചു കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ തന്റെ ചിറകിൻനിഴലിൽ ചേർക്കും; ഇരപിടിയൻപക്ഷികളും അവിടെ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂടും ഓരോന്നും അതിന്റെ ഇണകളോടൊപ്പംതന്നെ.
16 They passed by in [full] number, and not one of them perished: they sought not one another; for the Lord commanded them, and his Spirit gathered them.
യഹോവയുടെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ അന്വേഷിച്ചു വായിച്ചുനോക്കുക: ഈ ജീവികളിൽ ഒന്നും നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടുപോകുകയില്ല, ഒന്നിനും ഇണയില്ലാതെ വരികയുമില്ല. കാരണം അവിടത്തെ വായാണ് കൽപ്പന നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്, അവിടത്തെ ആത്മാവാണ് അവയെ ഒരുമിച്ചു ചേർക്കുന്നത്.
17 And he shall cast lots for them, and his hand has portioned out [their] pasture, [saying], You shall inherit [the land] for ever: they shall rest on it [through] all generations.
അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ ഭാഗം നറുക്കിടുകയും അവിടത്തെ കരം അളവുനൂൽ പിടിച്ച് അവർക്കായി വിഭജിക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അവർ അവയെ എന്നേക്കുമായി കൈവശമാക്കുകയും തലമുറതലമുറയായി അതിൽ പാർക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
