Esias 30
1 Woe to the apostate children, says the Lord: you have framed counsel, not by me, and covenants not by my Spirit, to add sins to sins:
੧ਹਾਏ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਬਾਲਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਪਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨੇਮ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ, ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਾਪ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ,
2 [even] they that proceed to go down into Egypt, but they have not enquired of me, that they might be helped by Pharao, and protected by the Egyptians.
੨ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਪਾਉਣ, ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਯੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਨਾਹ ਲੈਣ।
3 For the protection of Pharaoh shall be to you a disgrace, and [there shall be] a reproach to them that trust in Egypt.
੩ਇਸ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਯੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਨਾਹ ਲੈਣੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
4 For there are princes in Tanes, evil messengers.
੪ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸੋਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਦੂਤ ਹਾਨੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ,
5 In vain shall they labor [in seeking] to a people, which shall not profit them for help, but [shall be] for a shame and reproach.
੫ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਉਸ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ, ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਲਾਭਦਾਇਕ ਨਹੀਂ, ਲਾਜ ਖਾਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਨਾ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ, ਨਾ ਲਾਭ ਲਈ, ਪਰ ਲਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ!
6 THE VISION OF THE QUADRUPEDS IN THE DESERT. In affliction and distress, [where are] the lion and lion's whelp, thence [come] also asps, and the young of flying asps, [there shall they be] who bore their wealth on asses and camels to a nation which shall not profit them.
੬ਦੱਖਣੀ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਕ, - ਦੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਰਨੀ, ਨਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਡਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੱਪ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਜੁਆਨ ਗਧਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਿੱਠ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਧਨ, ਅਤੇ ਊਠਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੁਹਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਜ਼ਾਨੇ, ਉਸ ਕੌਮ ਵੱਲ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਲਾਭਦਾਇਕ ਨਹੀਂ!
7 The Egyptians shall help you utterly in vain: tell them, This your consolation is vain.
੭ਮਿਸਰੀ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਫੋਕੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ “ਰਹਬ-ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬੈਠੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ” ਸੱਦਿਆ ਹੈ!
8 Now then sit down and write these words on a tablet, and in a book; for these things shall be for [many long] days, and even for ever.
੮ਹੁਣ ਜਾ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਤਖ਼ਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖ, ਅਤੇ ਪੋਥੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਜ਼ ਕਰ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਦਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਖੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
9 For the people is disobedient, false children, who would not hear the law of God:
੯ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਪਰਜਾ, ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਬਾਲਕ ਹਨ, ਬਾਲਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ,
10 who say to the prophets, Report not to us; and to them that see visions, Speak [them] not to us, but speak and report to us another error;
੧੦ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦਰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਨਾ ਵੇਖੋ! ਅਤੇ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸੱਚੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਦੱਸੋ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਠੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸੋ, ਛਲ ਅਤੇ ਫਰੇਬ ਦੱਸੋ!
11 and turn us aside from this way; remove from us this path, and remove from us the oracle of Israel.
੧੧ਰਸਤੇ ਤੋਂ ਹਟੋ, ਮਾਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਫਿਰ ਜਾਓ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੱਗਿਓਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿਓ!
12 Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel, Because you have refused to obey these words, and have trusted in falsehood; and because you have murmured, and been confident in this respect:
੧੨ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਅਤੇ ਹੱਠ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਢਾਸਣਾ ਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ,
13 therefore shall this sin be to you as a wall suddenly falling when a strong city has been taken, of which the fall is very near at hand.
੧੩ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਬਦੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਤੇੜ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਕੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਟੁੱਟਣਾ ਅਚਾਨਕ, ਇੱਕ ਦਮ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
14 And the fall thereof shall be as the breaking of an earthen vessel, [as] small fragments of a pitcher, so that you should not find among them a sherd, with which you might take up fire, and with which you should draw a little water.
੧੪ਉਹ ਦਾ ਟੁੱਟਣਾ ਘੁਮਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਟਣ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਰਫ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਕੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਠੀਕਰਾ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਲੱਭੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅੱਗ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਜਾਵੇ, ਜਾਂ ਹੌਦ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਭਰਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
15 Thus says the Lord, the Holy Lord of Israel; When you shall turn and mourn, then you shall be saved; and you shall know where you were, when you did trust in vanities: [then] your strength became vain, yet you would not listen:
੧੫ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰਖ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੁੜ ਆਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਚੈਨ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਬਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ,
16 but you said, We will flee upon horses; therefore shall you flee: and, We will be aided by swift riders; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
੧੬ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ, ਨਹੀਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਨੱਠਾਂਗੇ, - ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨੱਠੋਗੇ! ਅਸੀਂ ਤੇਜ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਂਗੇ, - ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਤੇਜ ਹੋਣਗੇ!
17 A thousand shall flee because of the voice of one, and many shall flee on account of the voice of five; until you be left as a signal-post upon a mountain, and as one bearing an ensign upon a hill.
੧੭ਇੱਕ ਦੀ ਘੁਰਕੀ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਨੱਠਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਘੁਰਕੀ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਨੱਠੋਗੇ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਬਤ ਦੀ ਟੀਸੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਾਂਸ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ, ਜਾਂ ਟਿੱਬੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਝੰਡੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਨਾ ਛੱਡੇ ਜਾਓਗੇ।
18 And the Lord will again wait, that he may pity you, and will therefore be exalted that he may have mercy upon you: because the Lord your God is a judge: blessed are they that stay themselves upon him.
੧੮ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਡੀਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇ, ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਹਮ ਕਰੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ, ਧੰਨ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੇ ਹਨ!
19 For the holy people shall dwell in Sion: and [whereas] Jerusalem has wept bitterly, [saying], Pity me; he shall pity you: when he perceived the voice of your cry, he listened to you.
੧੯ਹਾਂ, ਹੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਤੇ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਫੇਰ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਰੋਵੋਗੇ, ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਸੁਣਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
20 And [though] the Lord shall give you the bread of affliction and scant water, yet they that cause you to err shall no more at all draw near to you; for your eyes shall see those that cause you to err,
੨੦ਭਾਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਲੁਕਾਵੇਗਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣਗੀਆਂ,
21 and your ears shall hear the words of them that went after you to lead you astray, who say, This [is] the way, let us walk in it, whether to the right or to the left.
੨੧ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਕਦੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੱਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜੋ ਜਾਂ ਖੱਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੰਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਇਹ ਆਖਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੁਣਨਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਰਾਹ ਇਹੋ ਹੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੋ।
22 And you shall pollute the plated idols, and you shall grind to powder the gilt ones, and shall scatter them as the water of a removed [woman], and you shall thrust them forth as dung.
੨੨ਤਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਉੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੇ ਢਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੁੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਕਰੋਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਦੇ ਕੱਪੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਖਿਲਾਰ ਦਿਓਗੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋਗੇ, ਦੂਰ ਹੋਵੋ!
23 Then shall there be rain to the seed of your land; and the bread of the fruit of your land shall be plenteous and rich: and your cattle shall feed in that day in a fertile and spacious place.
੨੩ਉਹ ਉਸ ਬੀਜ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਜੋਗੇ ਮੀਂਹ ਘੱਲੇਗਾ, ਨਾਲੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ ਉਹ ਉੱਤਮ ਅਤੇ ਵਧੇਰੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੇਰਾ ਵੱਗ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਜੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਗੇਗਾ।
24 Your bulls and your oxen that till the ground, shall eat chaff mixed with winnowed barley.
੨੪ਬਲ਼ਦ ਅਤੇ ਜੁਆਨ ਗਧੇ, ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਲੂਣੇ ਪੱਠੇ ਖਾਣਗੇ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਛੱਜ ਤੇ ਤੁੰਗਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਡਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
25 And there shall be upon every lofty mountain and upon every high hill, water running in that day, when many shall perish, and when the towers shall fall.
੨੫ਵੱਡੇ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਜਦ ਬੁਰਜ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ, ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਹਰੇਕ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਪਰਬਤ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਉੱਚੇ ਟਿੱਬੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਗਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
26 And the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold in the day when the Lord shall heal the breach of his people, and shall heal the pain of your wound.
੨੬ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਫੱਟ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਲਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਸੱਟ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਖਮ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਚੰਦ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਸੱਤ ਗੁਣਾ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
27 Behold, the name of the Lord comes after a [long] time, burning wrath: the word of his lips is with glory, a word full of anger, and the anger of his wrath shall devour as fire.
੨੭ਵੇਖੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦੂਰੋਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਭੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਗੂੜ੍ਹੇ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਨਾਲ। ਉਹ ਦੇ ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕਹਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਜੀਭ ਭਸਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੈ।
28 And his breath, as rushing water in a valley, shall reach as far as the neck, and be divided, to confound the nations for [their] vain error: error also shall pursue them, and overtake them.
੨੮ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਹ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗਲ਼ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਛੱਜ ਨਾਲ ਛੱਟੇ, ਅਤੇ ਭਟਕਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਲਗਾਮ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦਿਆਂ ਜਬਾੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ।
29 Must you always rejoice, and go into my holy places continually, as they that keep a feast? and must you go with a pipe, as those that rejoice, into the mountain of the Lord, to the God of Israel?
੨੯ਤੁਸੀਂ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਓਗੇ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬ ਦੀ ਰਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਸਰੀ ਵਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵੱਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
30 And the Lord shall make his glorious voice to be heard, and the wrath of his arm, to make a display with wrath and anger and devouring flame: he shall lighten terribly, and [his wrath shall be] as water and violent hail.
੩੦ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਤੇਜਵਾਨ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਾਂਹ ਦਾ ਉਲਾਰ, ਤੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਭਸਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਲਾਟ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਖਾਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾਲੇ ਮੋਹਲੇਧਾਰ ਮੀਂਹ, ਵਾਛੜ ਅਤੇ ਗੜੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
31 For by the voice of the Lord the Assyrians shall be overcome, [even] by the stroke wherewith he shall strike them.
੩੧ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰੀ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਜਦ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਡੰਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ।
32 And it shall happen to him from every side, [that] they from whom their hope of assistance was, in which he trusted, themselves shall war against him in turn with drums and with harp.
੩੨ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਲਾਠੀ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਸੱਟ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਾਵੇਗਾ, ਡੱਫ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਬਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਲੜਾਈਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜੇਗਾ।
33 For you shall be required before [your] time: has it been prepared for you also to reign? nay, God has [prepared for you] a deep trench, wood piled, fire and much wood: the wrath of the Lord [shall be] as a trench kindled with sulphur.
੩੩ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਵਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ, ਹਾਂ, ਉਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਚਿਤਾ ਅੱਗ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਲੱਕੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਸਾਹ ਗੰਧਕ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਗਾਵੇਗਾ।
