Esias 2
1 The word which came to Esaias the son of Amos concerning Judea, and concerning Jerusalem.
Palabra que vio Isaías, hijo de Amós, tocante a Judá, y a Jerusalem.
2 For in the last days the mountain of the Lord shall be glorious, and the house of God [shall be] on the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall come to it.
Y acontecerá en lo postrero de los tiempos, que será confirmado el monte de la casa de Jehová por cabeza de los montes, y será ensalzado sobre los collados; y correrán a él todas las naciones.
3 And many nations shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will tell us his way, and we will walk in it: for out of Sion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord out of Jerusalem.
Y vendrán muchos pueblos, y dirán: Veníd, y subamos al monte de Jehová, a la casa del Dios de Jacob, y enseñarnos ha en sus caminos, y caminaremos por sus sendas; porque de Sión saldrá la ley, y de Jerusalem la palabra de Jehová.
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into sickles: and nation shall not take up sword against nation, neither shall they learn to war any more.
Y juzgará entre las naciones, y reprenderá a muchos pueblos; y volverán sus espadas en azadones, y sus lanzas en hoces: no alzará espada nación contra nación, ni se ensayarán más para la guerra.
5 And now, O house of Jacob, come, [and] let us walk in the light of the Lord.
Veníd, o! casa de Jacob, y caminemos a la luz de Jehová.
6 For he has forsaken his people the house of Israel, because their land is filled as at the beginning with divinations, as the [land] of the Philistines, and many strange children were born to them.
Ciertamente tú has dejado tu pueblo, a la casa de Jacob; porque se han henchido de oriente, y de agoreros, como los Filisteos, y en hijos ajenos descansaron.
7 For their land is filled with silver and gold, and there was no number of their treasures; their land also is filled with horses, and there was no number of chariots.
Su tierra está llena de plata y oro, sus tesoros no tienen fin: también está llena su tierra de caballos, ni sus carros tienen número.
8 And the land is filled with abominations, [even] the works of their hands; and they have worshipped [the works] which their fingers made.
También está llena su tierra de ídolos; y a la obra de sus manos se han arrodillado, a lo que fabricaron sus dedos.
9 And the mean man bowed down, and the great man was humbled: and I will not pardon them.
Y todo hombre se ha inclinado, y todo varón se ha humillado: por tanto no los perdonarás.
10 Now therefore enter you into the rocks, and hide yourselves in the earth, for fear of the Lord, and by reason of the glory of his might, when he shall arise to strike terribly the earth.
Métete en la piedra, escóndete en el polvo de la presencia espantosa de Jehová, y del resplandor de su majestad.
11 For the eyes of the Lord are high, but man is low; and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
La altivez de los ojos del hombre será abatida, y la soberbia de los hombres será abajada; y Jehová solo será ensalzado en aquel día.
12 For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and haughty, and upon every one that is high and towering, and they shall be brought down;
Porque día de Jehová de los ejércitos vendrá sobre todo soberbio y altivo, y sobre todo ensalzado, y será abajado;
13 and upon every cedar of Libanus, of them that are high and towering, and upon every oak of Basan,
Y sobre todos los cedros del Líbano, altos y sublimes; y sobre todos los alcornoques de Basán;
14 and upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill,
Y sobre todos los montes altos, y sobre todos los collados levantados;
15 and upon every high tower, and upon every high wall,
Y sobre toda torre alta, y sobre todo muro fuerte;
16 and upon every ship of the sea, and upon every display of fine ships.
Y sobre todas las naves de Társis; y sobre todas pinturas preciadas.
17 And every man shall be brought low, and the pride of men shall fall: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
Y la altivez del hombre será abajada, y la soberbia de los hombres será abatida; y Jehová solo será ensalzado en aquel día.
18 And they shall hide all [idols] made with hands,
Y quitará totalmente los ídolos;
19 having carried [them] into the caves, and into the clefts of the rocks, and into the caverns of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and by reason of the glory of his might, when he shall arise to strike terribly the earth.
Y meterse han en las cavernas de las peñas, y en las aberturas de la tierra de la presencia espantosa de Jehová, y del resplandor de su majestad, cuando él se levantará para herir la tierra.
20 For in that day a man shall cast forth his silver and gold abominations, which they made [in order] to worship vanities and bats;
Aquel día el hombre arrojará en las cuevas, de los topos, y de los murciélagos, sus ídolos de plata, y sus ídolos de oro, que le hicieron para que adorase.
21 to enter into the caverns of the solid rock, and into the clefts of the rocks, for fear of the Lord, and by reason of the glory of his might, when he shall arise to strike terribly the earth.
Y meterse han en las hendeduras de las piedras, y en las cavernas de las peñas delante de la presencia temerosa de Jehová, y del resplandor de su majestad, cuando se levantará para herir la tierra.
Dejáos, pues, del hombre, cuyo espíritu está en su nariz; porque, ¿de qué es estimado él?
