Esias 13
1 THE VISION WHICH ESAIAS SON OF AMOS SAW AGAINST BABYLON.
೧ಆಮೋಚನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನಿಗೆ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡು ಬಂದ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿ.
2 Lift up a standard on the mountain of the plain, exalt the voice to them, beckon with the hand, open [the gates], you rulers.
೨ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಬಂದು ಪ್ರಭುಗಳ ಪುರದ್ವಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನುಗ್ಗುವಂತೆ, ಬೋಳು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಧ್ವಜವೆತ್ತಿ ಕೂಗಿರಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೈಬೀಸಿ ಕರೆಯಿರಿ.
3 I give command, and I bring them: giants are coming to fulfil my wrath, rejoicing at the same time and insulting.
೩ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಹೌದು, ನನ್ನ ಜಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಪಡುವವರು, ನನ್ನ ಶೂರರು ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
4 A voice of many nations on the mountains, [even] like [to that] of many nations; a voice of kings and nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts has given command to a warlike nation,
೪ಆಹಾ, ಬಹುಸಮೂಹವು ಇದ್ದಂತೆ ಗದ್ದಲವು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತದೆ! ಇಗೋ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಆರ್ಭಟವು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಅನೇಕ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಆರ್ಭಟದಂತೆ ಇದೆ! ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.
5 to come from a land afar off, from the utmost foundation of heaven; the Lord and his warriors [are coming] to destroy all the world.
೫ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಾನು ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರಿಸುವ ಆಯುಧಗಳೊಡನೆ ದೂರ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ, ಆಕಾಶ ಮಂಡಲದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
6 Howl you, for the day of the Lord is near, and destruction from God shall arrive.
೬ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದಿನವು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿತು. ಅದು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಿಂದ ನಾಶವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಬರುವುದು.
7 Therefore every hand shall become powerless, and every soul of man shall be dismayed.
೭ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಕೈಗಳು ಜೋಲು ಬೀಳುವುದು. ಎಲ್ಲರ ಹೃದಯವು ಕರಗಿ ನೀರಾಗುವುದು.
8 The elders shall be troubled, and pangs shall seize them, as of a woman in travail: and they shall mourn one to another, and shall be amazed, and shall change their countenance as a flame.
೮ಅವರು ಭಯಪಡುವರು. ಪ್ರಸವ ವೇದನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಂತೆ ಯಾತನೆ, ಸಂಕಟಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು. ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ನೋಡಿ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಪಡುವರು. ಅವರ ಮುಖಗಳು ತಲ್ಲಣಗೊಂಡು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಉರಿಯುವವು.
9 For behold! the day of the Lord is coming which can’t be escaped, [a day] of wrath and anger, to make the world desolate, and to destroy sinners out of it.
೯ಇಗೋ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ದಿನವು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅದು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿ, ಪಾಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನ ಕೋಪೋದ್ರೇಕದಿಂದಲೂ, ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣವಾದ ರೋಷದಿಂದಲೂ ಕ್ರೂರವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
10 For the stars of heaven, and Orion, and all the host of heaven, shall not give their light; and it shall be dark at sunrise, and the moon shall not give her light.
೧೦ಆಕಾಶದ ತಾರೆಗಳೂ, ನಕ್ಷತ್ರ ರಾಶಿಗಳೂ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸೂರ್ಯನು ಮೂಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಕತ್ತಲಾಗುವನು. ಚಂದ್ರನು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
11 And I will command evils for the whole world, and [will visit] their sins on the ungodly: and I will destroy the pride of transgressors, and will bring low the pride of the haughty.
೧೧ನಾನು ಲೋಕದವರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಪಾಪದ ಫಲವನ್ನೂ, ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ಫಲಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಸೊಕ್ಕಿದವರ ಅಹಂಕಾರವನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸಿ, ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ಅವರ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸುವೆನು.
12 And they that are left shall be more precious than gold tried in the fire; and a man shall be more precious than the stone that is in Suphir.
೧೨ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಓಫೀರಿನ ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ವಿರಳವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
13 For the heaven shall be enraged, and the earth shall be shaken from her foundation, because of the fierce anger of the Lord of hosts, in the day in which his wrath shall come on.
೧೩ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೋಪೋದ್ರೇಕದಿಂದ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣರೋಷದಿಂದ ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಿ, ಭೂಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಕದಲಿಸಿ ನಡುಗಿಸುವೆನು.
14 And they that are left shall be as a fleeing fawn, and as a stray sheep, and there shall be none to gather [them]: so that a man shall turn back to his people, and a man shall flee to his own land.
೧೪ಬೇಟೆಗಾರನಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಓಡುವ ಜಿಂಕೆಯಂತೆಯೂ, ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಲು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಂಥ ಕುರಿಗಳಂತೆಯೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಸ್ವಜನರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವನು.
15 For whoever shall be taken shall be overcome; and they that are gathered together shall fall by the sword.
೧೫ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಇರಿಯಲ್ಪಡುವರು. ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸಕಲ ಜನರು ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗುವರು.
16 And they shall dash their children before their eyes; and they shall spoil their houses, and shall take their wives.
೧೬ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಬಂಡೆಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಳಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವರು. ಅವರ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುವರು. ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡುವರು.
17 Behold, I will stir up against you the Medes, who do not regard silver, neither have they need of gold.
೧೭ಇಗೋ, ಅವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮೇದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವೆನು. ಇವರು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸರು. ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸರು.
18 They shall break the bows of the young men; and they shall have no mercy on your children; nor shall their eyes spare your children.
೧೮ಅವರ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಚೂರುಚೂರು ಮಾಡುವವು. ಇವರು ಹಸುಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
19 And Babylon, which is called glorious by the king of the Chaldeans, shall be as [when] God overthrew Sodoma, and Gomorrha.
೧೯ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಘನತೆಯೂ, ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಭೂಷಣವೂ ಆದ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ, ದೇವರು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಗೋಮೋರಗಳ ಗತಿಯೇ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದು.
20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall any enter into it for many generations: neither shall the Arabians pass through it; nor shall shepherds at all rest in it.
೨೦ಅದು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಿವಾಸ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗದು. ತಲತಲಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಿಸರು; ಯಾವ ಅರಬಿಯನೂ ಗುಡಾರ ಹಾಕನು ಅಥವಾ ಕುರುಬರು ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ತಂಗಿಸರು.
21 But wild beasts shall rest there; and the houses shall be filled with howling; and monsters shall rest there, and devils shall dance there, and satyrs shall dwell there; and hedgehogs shall make their nests in their houses. It will come soon, and will not wait.
೨೧ಕಾಡು ಮೃಗಗಳು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗುವವು. ಅವರ ಮನೆಗಳು ಗೂಬೆಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವವು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಉಷ್ಟ್ರಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ವಾಸಿಸುವವು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಡಿನ ಟಗರುಗಳು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಣಿದಾಡುವವು.
೨೨ಅವರ ಕೋಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೋಳಗಳೂ, ಅರಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನರಿಗಳೂ ಕೂಗುವವು. ಸಮಯವು ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಆ ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತಡವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
