Jezekiel 5
1 And you, son of man, take you a sword sharper than a barber's razor; you shall procure it for yourself, and shall bring it upon your head, and upon your beard: and you shall take a pair of scales, and shall separate the hair.
E tu, ó filho do homem, toma uma faca aguda, uma navalha de barbeiro, e toma-la-ás, e a farás passar por cima da tua cabeça e da tua barba: então tomarás uma balança, e repartirás os cabelos.
2 A fourth part you shall burn in the fire in the midst of the city, at the fulfillment of the days of the siege: and you shall take a fourth part, and burn it up in the midst of it: and a fourth part you shall cut with a sword round about it: and a fourth part you shall scatter to the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
A terça parte queimarás no fogo, no meio da cidade, quando se cumprirem os dias do cerco: então tomarás outra terça parte, e feri-la-ás com uma espada ao redor dela; e a outra terça parte espalharas ao vento; porque desembainharei a espada atráz deles.
3 And you shall take thence a few in number, and shall wrap them in the fold of your garment.
Também tomarás deles um pequeno número, e ata-los-ás nas bordas do teu vestido.
4 And you shall take of these again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them up with fire: from thence shall come forth fire; and you shall say to the whole house of Israel,
E ainda destes tomarás alguns, e os lançarás no meio do fogo e os queimarás a fogo; e dali sairá um fogo contra toda a casa de Israel.
5 Thus says the Lord; This is Jerusalem: I have set her and the countries round about her in the midst of the nations.
Assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Esta é Jerusalém, pu-la no meio das nações e terras que estão ao redor dela.
6 And you shall declare mine ordinances to the lawless one from out of the nations; and my statutes [to the sinful one] of the countries round about her: because they have rejected mine ordinances, and have not walked in my statutes.
Porém ela mudou em impiedade os meus juízos, mais do que as nações, e os meus estatutos mais do que as terras que estão ao redor dela; porque rejeitaram os meus juízos, e não andaram nos meus preceitos.
7 Therefore thus says the Lord, Because your occasion [for sin has been taken] from the nations round about you, and you have not walked in my statutes, nor kept mine ordinances, nay, you have not even done according to the ordinances of the nations round about you; therefore thus says the Lord;
Portanto assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Porquanto multiplicastes as vossas maldades mais do que as nações, que estão ao redor de vós, nos meus estatutos não andastes, nem fizestes os meus juízos, nem ainda fizestes conforme os juízos das nações que estão ao redor de vós;
8 Behold, I am against you, and I will execute judgment in the midst of you in the sight of the nations.
Por isso assim diz o Senhor Jehovah: Eis que eu estou contra ti, sim, eu: e executarei juízos no meio de ti aos olhos das nações.
9 And I will do in you things which I have not done, and the like of which I will not do again, for all your abominations.
E farei em ti o que nunca fiz, e o qual não fareis jamais, por causa de todas as tuas abominações.
10 Therefore the fathers shall eat [their] children in the midst of you, and children shall eat [their] fathers; and I will execute judgments in you, and I will scatter all that are left of you to every wind.
Portanto os pais comerão a seus filhos no meio de ti, e os filhos comerão a seus pais; e executarei em ti juízos, espalharei todo o teu resíduo a todos os ventos.
11 Therefore, [as] I live, says the Lord; surely, because you have defiled my holy things with all your abominations, I also will reject you; mine eye shall not spare, and I will have no mercy.
Portanto vivo eu, diz o Senhor Jehovah, certamente (porquanto profanaste o meu santuário com todas as tuas coisas detestáveis, e com todas as tuas abominações), também eu te diminuirei, e o meu olho te não perdoará, nem também me apiedarei.
12 A fourth part of you shall be cut off by pestilence, and a fourth part of you shall be consumed in the midst of you with famine: and [as for another] fourth part of you, I will scatter them to every wind; and a fourth part of you shall fall by sword round about you, and I will draw out a sword after them.
Uma terça parte de ti morrerá da peste, e se consumirá à fome no meio de ti; e outra terça parte cairá à espada em redor de ti; e a outra terça parte espalharei a todos os ventos, e a espada desembainharei atráz deles
13 And my wrath and mine anger shall be accomplished upon them: and you shall know that I the Lord have spoken in my jealousy, when I have accomplished mine anger upon them.
Assim se cumprirá a minha ira, e farei descançar neles o meu furor, e me consolarei; e saberão que eu, o Senhor, tenho falado no meu zêlo, quando cumprir neles o meu furor.
14 And I will make you desolate, and your daughters round about you, in the sight of every one that passes through.
E te porei em assolação, e para opróbrio entre as nações que estão em redor de ti, aos olhos de todos os que passarem.
15 And you shall be mourned over and miserable among the nations round about you, when I have executed judgments in you in the vengeance of my wrath. I the Lord have spoken.
E o opróbrio e a infâmia servirão de instrução e espanto às nações que estão em redor de ti, quando eu executar em ti juízos com ira, e com furor, e com sanhudos castigos: Eu, o Senhor, falei
16 And when I have sent against them shafts of famine, then they shall be consumed, and I will break the strength of your bread.
Quando eu enviar as más flechas da fome contra eles, que servirão para destruição, as quais eu mandarei para vos destruir, então aumentarei a fome sobre vós, e vos quebrantarei o sustento do pão.
17 So I will send forth against you famine and evil beasts, and I will take vengeance upon you; and pestilence and blood shall pass through upon you; and I will bring a sword upon you round about. I the Lord have spoken.
E enviarei sobre vós a fome, e as más bestas que te desfilharão; e a peste e o sangue passarão por ti; e trarei a espada sobre ti: Eu, o Senhor, falei.
