Jezekiel 39
1 And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus says the Lord; Behold, I am against you, O Gog, Rhos prince of Mesoch and Thobel:
Ja sinä, ihmisen poika, ennusta Gogia vastaan ja sano: näin sanoo Herra, Herra: katso, minä tulen sinun kimppuus, Gog, sinä joka olet Mesekin ja Tubalin ylimmäinen päämies;
2 and I will assemble you, and guide you, and raise you up on the extremity of the north, and I will bring you up upon the mountains of Israel.
Ja tahdon sinun palauttaa ja houkutella ulos, ja noudan sinun pohjan ääristä, ja annan sinun tulla Israelin vuorille:
3 And I will destroy the bow out of your left hand, and your arrows out of your right hand, and I will cast you down on the mountains of Israel;
Ja lyön joutsen pois sinun vasemmasta kädestäs ja heitän sinun nuoles oikiasta kädestäs.
4 and you and all that belong to you shall fall, and the nations that are with you shall be given to multitudes of birds, [even] to every fowl, and I have given you to all the wild beasts of the field to be devoured.
Israelin vuorilla pitää sinun kaatuman, kaiken sinun joukkos kanssa ja sen väen kanssa, joka sinun tykönäs on. Minä annan sinun linnuille, kusta ikänä he lentävät, ja eläimille ruaksi.
5 You shall fall on the face of the field: for I have spoken [it], says the Lord.
Sinun pitää lankeeman kedolla; sillä minä Herra, Herra olen sen sanonut.
6 And I will send a fire upon Gog, and the islands shall be securely inhabited: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
Ja minä heitän tulen Magogin päälle ja niiden päälle, jotka luodoissa surutoinna asuvat; ja heidän pitää ymmärtämän minun olevan Herran.
7 And my holy name shall be known in the midst of my people Israel; and my holy name shall no more be profaned: and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy [One] in Israel.
Ja minä tahdon tehdä minun pyhän nimeni tiettäväksi minun kansani Israelin seassa, ja en tahdo enään antaa minun pyhää nimeäni häväistä; vaan pakanain pitää ymmärtämän minun olevan Herran Israelin pyhän.
8 Behold it is come, and you shall know that it shall be, says the Lord God; this is the day concerning which I have spoken.
Katso, jos se on parhaallaansa tullut ja tapahtunut, sanoo Herra, Herra: se on se päivä, josta minä olen puhunut.
9 And they that inhabit the cities of Israel shall come forth, and make a fire with the arms, the shields and the spears, and bows and arrows, and hand-staves, and lances, and they shall keep fire burning with them for seven years:
Ja Israelin kaupunkien asuvaisten pitää lähtemän ulos, ja tekemän valkian, ja polttaman sota-aseet, kaikellaiset kilvet, nuolet, seipäät ja kanget; jotka kestävät palaa seitsemän ajastaikaa.
10 and they shall not take any wood out of the field, neither shall they cut any out of the forests, but they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall plunder those that plundered them, and spoil those that spoiled them, says the Lord.
Niin ettei tarvita hakea puita kedolta, eli pidä metsästä hakattaman; sillä he polttavat sota-aseita; ja pitää ryöstämän niitä, joilta he ovat ryöstetyt, ja raateleman niitä, joilta he olivat raadellut, sanoo Herra, Herra.
11 And it shall come to pass [that] in that day I will give to Gog a place of renown, a tomb in Israel, the burial-place of them that approach the sea: and they shall build round about the outlet of the valley, and there they shall bury Gog and all his multitude: and [the place] shall then be called the burial-place of Gog.
Ja sen pitää silloin tapahtuman, että minä annan Gogille paikan hautaamiseksi Israelissa, sen laakson, josta meren tykö itään päin mennään, niin että ne, jotka siitä menevät ohitse, pitää sieramensa tukitseman; ja heidän pitää Gogin joukkoinensa siihen hautaaman, ja se pitää kutsuttaman Gogin joukon laaksoksi.
12 And the house of Israel shall bury them, that the land may be cleansed in the space of seven months.
Mutta Israelin huoneen pitää heitä hautaaman, että maa sen kautta pitää puhdistettaman koko seitsemän kuukautta.
13 Yes, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a [place] of renown in the day wherein it was glorified, says the Lord.
Ja kaikella maakunnan kansalla pitää tekemistä oleman heidän hautaamisessansa, ja pitää saaman siitä kuuluisan nimen; että minä sinä päivänä kunnoitetuksi tulen, sanoo Herra, Herra.
14 And they shall appoint men continually to go over the land, to bury them that have been left on the face of the earth, to cleanse it after the space of seven months, and they shall seek [them] out.
Ja heidän pitää asettaman miehiä käymään joka päivä maata ympäri, ja heidän kanssansa kuolleiden hautain kaivajat, hautaaman jääneitä maan päällä, että se puhdistettaisiin; seitsemän kuukauden perästä pitää heidän rupeeman sitä tutkistelemaan.
15 And every one that goes through the land, and sees a man's bone, shall set up a mark by it, until the buriers shall have buried it in the valley, the burial place of Gog.
Ja ne, jotka maata käyvät ympäri ja jossakussa paikassa ihmisen luut näkevät, heidän pitää siihen merkin paneman; siihenasti kuin haudankaivajat ne myös Gogin joukon laaksoon hautaavat.
16 For the name of the city [shall be] Burial-place: so shall the land be cleansed.
Kaupunki myös pitää siellä kutsuttaman Hamonaksi: niin pitää heidän maan perkaaman.
17 And you, son of man, say, Thus says the Lord; Say to every winged bird, and to all the wild beasts of the field, Gather yourselves, and come; gather yourselves from all [places] round about to my sacrifice, which I have made for you, [even] a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, and you shall eat flesh, and drink blood.
Nyt sinä ihmisen poika, näin sanoo Herra, Herra: sano kaikille linnuille, kusta ikänä he lentävät, ja kaikille eläimille kedolla: kokoontukaat ja tulkaat tänne, tulkaat kokoon joka paikasta ympäriltä minun teurasuhrilleni, jonka minä teille teurastan suureksi teurasuhriksi Israelin vuorilla, ja syökäät lihaa, ja juokaat verta.
18 You shall eat the flesh of mighty men, and you shall drink the blood of princes of the earth, rams, and calves and goats, and they are all fatted calves.
Teidän pitää syömän väkeväin lihaa, ja juoman maan päämiesten verta; oinaisten, karitsain, kauristen, härkäin, jotka kaikki lihavat ja hyvin syötetyt ovat.
19 And you shall eat fat till you are full, and shall drink wine till you are drunken, of my sacrifice which I have prepared for you.
Ja teidän pitää syömän lihavuutta, niin että te ravituksi tulette, ja juoman verta, niin että te juovuksiin tulette, siitä teurasuhrista, jonka minä teille teurastan.
20 And you shall be filled at my table, [eating] horse, and rider, and mighty man, and every warrior, says the Lord.
Ravitkaat teitänne minun pöydälläni hevosista ja ratsastajista, väkevistä ja kaikkinaisesta sotaväestä, sanoo Herra, Herra.
21 And I will set my glory among you, and all the nations shall see my judgment which I have wrought, and my hand which I have brought upon them.
Ja minä annan minun kunniani tulla pakanain sekaan, niin että kaikki pakanat pitää näkemän minun tuomioni, jonka minä olen tehnyt, ja minun käteni, jonka minä olen pannut heidän päällensä.
22 And the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God, from this day and onwards.
Ja Israelin huoneen pitää ymmärtämän, että minä Herra olen heidän Jumalansa, siitä päivästä ja aina edemmä.
23 And all the nations shall know that the house of Israel were led captive because of their sins, because they rebelled against me, and I turned away my face from them, and delivered them into the hands of their enemies, and they all fell by the sword.
Niin myös kaikkein pakanain pitää ymmärtämän Israelin huoneen pahain tekoinsa tähden viedyksi pois, sentähden että he minua vastaan rikkoneet ovat; ja minä peitin kasvoni heidän edestänsä, ja annoin heitä vihollistensa käsiin, niin että heidän kaikkein piti miekan kautta lankeeman.
24 According to their uncleannesses and according to their transgressions did I deal with them, and I turned away my face from them.
Niinkuin heidän saastaisuutensa ja pahat tekonsa ansainneet olivat, tein minä heille, ja peitin minun kasvoni heidän edestänsä.
25 Therefore thus says the Lord God, Now will I turn back captivity in Jacob, and will have mercy on the house of Israel, and will be jealous for the sake of my holy name.
Sentähden näin sanoo Herra, Herra: nyt minä tahdon pelastaa Jakobin vangit, ja armahtaa koko Israelin huonetta, ja kiivoitella minun pyhän nimeni tähden.
26 And they shall bear their reproach, and the iniquity which they committed when they lived upon their land in peace. Yet there shall be none to terrify [them]
Mutta heidän pitää kantaman häväistyksensä ja rikoksensa, joilla he ovat rikkoneet minua vastaan, koska he surutoinna maallansa asuvat, niin ettei kenkään heitä peljätä.
27 when I have brought them back from the nations, and gathered them out of the countries of the nations: and I will be sanctified among them in the presence of the nations.
Ja minä olen heidät kansoista jälleen kotia tuonut, ja koonnut heitä vihollistensa maalta, ja olen heissä pyhitetyksi tullut monien pakanain silmäin edessä.
28 And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, when I have been manifested to them among the nations.
Ja niin pitää heidän ymmärtämän, että minä Herra olen heidän Jumalansa, joka olen antanut viedä heitä pois pakanain sekaan, ja antanut taas koota heitä maallensa, ja en antanut yhtäkään heistä sinne jäädä.
29 And I will no more turn away my face from them, because I have poured out my wrath upon the house of Israel, says the Lord God.
Ja en minä enään tahdo peittää minun kasvojani heidän edestänsä; sillä minä olen vuodattanut minun henkeni Israelin huoneen päälle, sanoo Herra, Herra.
