Jezekiel 36
1 And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say to the mountains of Israel, Hear you the word of the Lord:
Und du, Menschensohn, weissage über die Berge Israels, und sprich: Höret, ihr Berge Israels, das Wort Jehovahs!
2 Thus says the Lord God; Because the enemy has said against you, Aha, the old waste places are become a possession for us:
So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Darum, daß der Feind über euch sagt: Aha! und die Opferhöhen der Ewigkeit sind uns zum Erbbesitz worden!
3 therefore prophesy, and say, Thus says the Lord God; Because you have been dishonored, and hated by those round about you, that you might be a possession to the remainder of the nations, and you became a byword, and a reproach to the nations:
Darum weissage und sprich: So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Weil und weil immer man rings umher euch verwüstet und wider euch schnaubt, daß ihr ein Erbbesitz werdet dem Überrest der Völkerschaften, und weil ihr seid aufgestiegen auf die Lippe der Zunge und zum Gerede des Volkes;
4 therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord; Thus says the Lord to the mountains, and to the hills, and to the streams, and to the valleys, and to [the places] that have been made desolate and destroyed, and to the cities that have been deserted, and have become a spoil and a trampling to the nations that were left round about;
Darum hört, ihr Berge Israels, das Wort des Herrn Jehovah: So spricht der Herr Jehovah zu den Bergen und zu den Hügeln, zu den Flußbetten und zu den Schluchten, und zu den Öden, den verwüsteten, und zu den verlassenen Städten, die dem Überrest der Völkerschaften ringsumher zum Raub und Gelächter geworden waren;
5 therefore, thus says the Lord; Verily in the fire of my wrath have I spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Idumea, because they have appropriated my land to themselves for a possession with joy, disregarding the lives [of the inhabitants], to destroy [it] by plunder:
Darum, so spricht der Herr Jehovah, habe Ich im Feuer Meines Eifers geredet über den Überrest der Völkerschaften und über Edom allzumal, die sich selbst Mein Land mit Fröhlichkeit des ganzen Herzens, mit dem Hohne der Seele zum Erbbesitz gegeben hatten, um seinen Ertrag zu rauben.
6 therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, and to the hills, and to the valleys, and to the forests, Thus says the Lord; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the reproaches of the heathen:
Darum weissage über den Boden Israels und sprich zu den Bergen und zu den Hügeln, zu den Flußbetten und zu den Schluchten: Also spricht der Herr Jehovah: Siehe, in Meinem Eifer und in Meinem Grimm habe Ich geredet, weil ihr die Schande der Völkerschaften getragen habt;
7 therefore I will lift up my hand against the nations that are round about you; they shall bear their reproach.
Darum spricht also der Herr Jehovah, habe Meine Hand Ich erhoben. Fürwahr, die Völkerschaften rings um euch her, sie sollen tragen ihre Schande!
8 But your grapes and your fruits, O mountains of Israel, shall my people eat; for they are hoping to come.
Ihr aber, Berge Israels, sollt eure Zweige treiben und eure Frucht tragen für Mein Volk Israel; denn sie nahen sich, daß sie kommen,
9 For, behold, I am toward you, and I will have respect to you, and you shall be tilled and sown:
Denn siehe, Ich bin bei euch und wende Mich zu euch, und ihr werdet bebaut und besät werden;
10 and I will multiply men upon you, [even] all the house of Israel to the end: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the desolate land shall be built upon.
Und will auf euch den Menschen mehren, das ganze Haus Israel allzumal, und die Städte sollen bewohnt und die Öden aufgebaut werden;
11 And I will multiply men and cattle upon you; and I will cause you to dwell as at the beginning, and will treat you well, as in your former [times]: and you shall know that I am the Lord.
Und Ich will auf euch den Menschen und das Vieh mehren, und sie sollen sich mehren und fruchtbar sein, und lasse euch wohnen wie in euren Vorzeiten, und tue euch mehr Gutes, denn in euren Anfängen, und ihr sollt wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin.
12 And I will increase men upon you, [even] my people Israel; and they shall inherit you, and you shall be to them for a possession; and you shall no more be bereaved of them.
Und Ich will den Menschen auf euch wandeln lassen, Mein Volk Israel, daß sie dich erblich besitzen und du ihr Erbe seiest, und sollst sie nicht mehr kinderlos machen.
13 Thus says the Lord God: Because they said to you, You [land] devour men, and have been bereaved of your nation;
So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Weil sie zu euch sprechen: Du frißt den Menschen und machst kinderlos deine Völkerschaften;
14 therefore you shall no more devour men, and you shall no more bereave your nation, says the Lord God.
Darum sollst du nicht mehr den Menschen fressen und deine Völkerschaften nicht mehr kinderlos machen, spricht der Herr Jehovah.
15 And there shall no more be heard against you the reproach of the nations, and you shall no more bear the revilings of the peoples, says the Lord God.
Und Ich lasse nicht mehr über dich die Beschimpfung der Völkerschaften hören, und die Schmähung der Völker sollst du nicht mehr tragen, und deine Völkerschaften sollst du nicht mehr kinderlos machen, spricht der Herr Jehovah.
16 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Und es geschah zu mir Jehovahs Wort, sprechend:
17 Son of man, the house of Israel lived upon their land, and defiled it by their way, and with their idols, and with their uncleannesses; and their way was before me like the uncleanness of a removed woman.
Menschensohn, das Haus Israel, sie wohnten auf ihrem Boden, und verunreinigten ihn mit ihrem Weg und ihrem Tun. Wie die Unreinheit der Befleckung war ihr Weg vor Mir.
18 So I poured out my wrath upon them:
Und Ich ergoß Meinen Grimm über sie des Blutes wegen, das sie vergossen in dem Land, und durch ihre Götzen hatten sie es verunreinigt.
19 and I dispersed them among the nations, and utterly scattered them through the countries: I judged them according to their way and according to their sin.
Und Ich zerstreute sie unter die Völkerschaften; und in die Länder wurden sie versprengt. Nach ihrem Weg und ihrem Tun hatte Ich sie gerichtet.
20 And they went in among the nations, among which they went, and they profaned my holy name, while it was said of them, These are the people of the Lord, and they came forth out of his land.
Und sie kamen unter die Völkerschaften, dahin sie kamen, und entweihten den Namen Meiner Heiligkeit, indem man von ihnen sagte: Die sind das Volk Jehovahs, und aus Seinem Lande sind sie ausgezogen.
21 But I spared them for the sake of my holy name, which the house of Israel profaned among the nations, among whom they went.
Ich aber will schonen den Namen Meiner Heiligkeit, den sie, das Haus Israel, entweihten, unter den Völkerschaften, dahin sie kamen.
22 Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord; I do not this, O house of Israel, for your sakes, but because of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations, among whom you went.
Darum sprich zu dem Hause Israels: So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Nicht euretwegen tue Ich es, ihr vom Hause Israels, sondern für den Namen Meiner Heiligkeit, den ihr entweihtet unter den Völkerschaften, dahin ihr kamet,
23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, when I am sanctified among you before their eyes.
Daß Meinen großen Namen Ich heilige, der unter den Völkerschaften ist entweiht worden, den ihr in ihrer Mitte entweiht habt, auf daß die Völkerschaften wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin, spricht der Herr Jehovah, da Ich Mich heilige in euch vor euren Augen.
24 And I will take you out from the nations, and will gather you out of all the lands, and will bring you into your own land:
Und Ich werde euch von den Völkerschaften nehmen und euch zusammenbringen aus allen Ländern, und euch hereinbringen auf euern Boden,
25 and I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be purged from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols, and I will cleanse you.
Und werde sprengen reine Wasser über euch, daß ihr von allen euren Unreinheiten rein werdet, und werde euch reinigen von allen euren Götzen.
26 And I will give you a new heart, and will put a new spirit in you: and I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, and will give you a heart of flesh.
Und Ich gebe euch ein neues Herz, und will euch einen neuen Geist in euer Inneres geben; und will das Herz von Stein wegtun aus eurem Fleische und euch ein Herz von Fleisch geben,
27 And I will put my Spirit in you, and will cause you to walk in mine ordinances, and to keep my judgments, and do [them].
Und Meinen Geist will Ich in euer Inneres geben und machen, daß ihr in Meinen Satzungen wandelt und Meine Rechte haltet und sie tut.
28 And you shall dwell upon the land which I gave to your fathers; and you shall be to me a people, and I will be to you a God.
Und ihr sollt wohnen in dem Land, das euren Vätern Ich gegeben habe, und sollt Mein Volk sein, und Ich will Gott euch sein.
29 And I will save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and multiply it, and will not bring famine upon you.
Und Ich will euch von allen euren Unreinheiten retten, und will rufen dem Korn und es mehren, und gebe keine Hungersnot auf euch.
30 And I will multiply the fruit of the trees, and the produce of the field, that you may not bear the reproach of famine among the nations.
Und Ich will die Frucht des Baumes und den Ertrag des Feldes mehren, daß ihr nicht mehr unter den Völkerschaften die Schmach der Hungersnot auf euch nehmt.
31 And you shall remember your evil ways and your practices that were not good, and you shall be hateful in your own sight for your transgressions and for your abominations.
Und ihr werdet eurer bösen Wege gedenken, und eures Tuns, das nicht gut war, und euch wird vor euch selber verdrießen ob eurer Missetaten und ob eurer Greuel.
32 Not for your sakes do I [this], says the Lord God, [as] it is known to you: be you ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.
Nicht euretwegen tue Ich es, spricht der Herr Jehovah; das sei euch zu wissen getan. Schämt euch und werdet zuschanden über euren Wegen, o Haus Israel.
33 Thus says the Lord God; In the day wherein I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities I will also cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste [places] shall be built upon:
So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Am Tage, da Ich euch reinige von all euren Missetaten, da lasse Ich die Städte wieder bewohnen und die Öden werden aufgebaut.
34 and the desolate land shall be cultivated, whereas it was desolate in the eyes of every one that passed by.
Und das verwüstete Land soll bebaut werden, statt daß es eine Verwüstung war vor den Augen eines jeden, der vorüber- ging.
35 And they shall say, That desolate land is become like a garden of delight; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are inhabited.
Und sagen sollen sie: Dies Land, das verwüstet war, ist wie der Garten Edens, und die Städte, die verödet und verwüstet und eingerissen waren, sind befestigt, sie sind bewohnt.
36 And the nations, as many as shall have been left round about you, shall know that I the Lord have built the ruined [cities] and planted the waste [lands]: I the Lord have spoken, and will do [it].
Und die Völkerschaften, die verblieben um euch her, sollen wissen, daß Ich, Jehovah, das Eingerissene gebaut, bepflanzt das Verwüstete. Ich, Jehovah, habe es geredet und getan.
37 Thus says the Lord God; Yet [for] this will I be sought by the house of Israel, to establish them; I will multiply them [even] men as sheep;
So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Noch darin lasse Ich Mich erbitten vom Hause Israels, daß Ich es ihnen tue. Ich will sie mehren, wie eine Herde von Menschen.
38 as holy sheep, as the sheep of Jerusalem in her feasts; thus shall the desert cities be full of flocks of men: and they shall know that I [am] the Lord.
Wie die Herde der Heiligtümer, wie die Herde Jerusalems an seinen Festzeiten, so sollen die verödeten Städte voll sein von einer Herde von Menschen, und sie sollen wissen, daß Ich Jehovah bin.
