Jezekiel 34
1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Und das Wort des HERRN kam zu mir also:
2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord God; O shepherds of Israel, do shepherds feed themselves? do not the shepherds feed the sheep?
Menschensohn, weissage wider die Hirten Israels, weissage und sprich zu ihnen, den Hirten: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Wehe den Hirten Israels, die sich selbst weiden! Sollen die Hirten nicht die Herde weiden?
3 Behold, you feed on the milk, and clothe yourselves with the wool, and kill the fat: but you feed not my sheep.
Das Fette esset ihr, mit der Wolle bekleidet ihr euch, und das Gemästete schlachtet ihr, aber die Herde weidet ihr nicht!
4 The weak one you have not strengthened, and the sick you have not cherished, and the bruised you have not bound up, and the stray one you have not turned back, and the lost you have not sought; and the strong you have wearied with labor.
Das Schwache stärket ihr nicht, das Kranke heilet ihr nicht, das Verwundete verbindet ihr nicht, das Verscheuchte holt ihr nicht zurück, und das Verlorene suchet ihr nicht,
5 And my sheep were scattered, because there were no shepherds: and they became meat to all the wild beasts of the field.
sondern streng und hart herrschet ihr über sie! Und so haben sie sich zerstreut, weil sie ohne Hirten waren, und sind allen wilden Tieren des Feldes zur Speise geworden und haben sich zerstreut.
6 And my sheep were scattered on every mountain, and on every high hill: yes, they were scattered on the face of the earth, and there was none to seek them out, nor to bring them back.
Auf allen Bergen und hohen Hügeln gehen meine Schafe irre, und über das ganze Land sind meine Schafe zerstreut; und niemand ist da, der nach ihnen fragt oder sie sucht.
7 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord.
Darum, ihr Hirten, höret das Wort des HERRN!
8 [As] I live, says the Lord God, surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became meat to all the wild beasts of the field, because there were no shepherds, and the shepherds sought not out my sheep, and the shepherds fed themselves, but fed not my sheep.
So wahr ich lebe, spricht Gott, der HERR, weil meine Schafe zum Raube und allen wilden Tieren des Feldes zur Speise geworden sind, weil sie keinen Hirten haben und meine Hirten meinen Schafen nicht nachfragen, weil sie nur sich selbst und nicht meine Schafe weiden,
9 For this cause, O shepherds,
so höret, ihr Hirten, das Wort des HERRN!
10 thus says the Lord God, Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hands, and will turn them back that they shall not feed my sheep, and the shepherds shall no longer feed them; and I will deliver my sheep out of their mouth, and they shall no longer be meat for them.
So spricht Gott, der HERR: Siehe, ich will an die Hirten und will meine Schafe von ihren Händen fordern und will ihrem Schafeweiden ein Ende machen, und die Hirten sollen hinfort auch sich selbst nicht mehr weiden; denn ich will meine Schafe aus ihrem Maul erretten, daß sie hinfort nicht ihre Speise sein sollen.
11 For thus says the Lord God, Behold, I will seek out my sheep, and will visit them.
Denn also spricht Gott, der HERR: Siehe, ich selbst will meinen Schafen nachforschen und sie suchen!
12 As the shepherd seeks his flock, in the day when there is darkness and cloud, in the midst of the sheep that are separated: so will I seek out my sheep, and will bring them back from every place where they were scattered in the day of cloud and darkness.
Wie ein Hirt seine Herde zusammensucht an dem Tage, da er mitten unter seinen zerstreuten Schafen ist, so will ich meine Schafe suchen und sie aus allen Orten erretten, dahin sie sich an dem neblichten und dunklen Tage zerstreut haben.
13 And I will bring them out from the Gentiles, and will gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land, and will feed them upon the mountains of Israel, and in the valleys, and in every inhabited place of the land.
Ich will sie aus den Völkern herausführen und aus den Ländern zusammenbringen und will sie in ihr Land führen und sie weiden auf den Bergen Israels, in den Tälern und an allen Wohnorten des Landes.
14 I will feed them in a good pasture, on a high mountain of Israel: and their folds shall be there, and they shall lie down, and there shall they rest in perfect prosperity, and they shall feed in a fat pasture on the mountains of Israel.
Auf einer guten Weide will ich sie weiden; und ihre Trift soll auf den hohen Bergen Israels sein, daselbst sollen sie sich in einer guten Hürde lagern und auf den Bergen Israels fette Weide haben!
15 I will feed my sheep, and I will cause them to rest; and they shall know that I am the Lord: thus says the Lord God.
Ich will selbst meine Schafe weiden und sie lagern, spricht Gott, der HERR.
16 I will seek that which is lost, and I will recover the stray one, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen the fainting, and will guard the strong, and will feed them with judgment.
Das Verlorene will ich suchen und das Verscheuchte zurückholen und das Verwundete verbinden; das Schwache will ich stärken; aber was fett und stark ist, will ich abtun; ich will sie weiden, wie es recht ist.
17 And [as for] you, you sheep, thus says the Lord God, Behold, I will distinguish between sheep and sheep, [between] rams and he-goats.
Und zu euch, meinen Schafen, spricht Gott, der HERR: Seht, ich will richten zwischen den einzelnen Schafen, zwischen den Widdern und Böcken.
18 And [is it] not enough for you that you fed on the good pasture, that you trampled with your feet the remnant of your pasture? and [that] you drank the standing water, [that] you disturbed the residue with your feet?
Ist es euch nicht genug, daß ihr eine so gute Weide abweidet; müßt ihr auch noch das übrige Weideland mit euren Füßen zertreten? Und wenn ihr klares Wasser getrunken habt, müßt ihr dann das übrige mit euren Füßen trüben?
19 So my sheep fed on that which you had trampled with your feet; and they drank the water that had been disturbed by your feet.
Und sollen dann meine Schafe das abweiden, was ihr mit euren Füßen zertreten habt, und trinken, was ihr mit euren Füßen trübe gemacht habt?
20 Therefore thus says the Lord God; Behold, I will separate between the strong sheep and the weak sheep.
Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also zu ihnen: Siehe, Ich will selbst richten zwischen den fetten und den mageren Schafen:
21 You did thrust with your sides and shoulders, and pushed with your horns, and you cruelly treated all the sick.
weil ihr alle schwachen Schafe mit Seite und Schulter gedrängt und mit euren Hörnern gestoßen habt, bis ihr sie hinausgetrieben hattet,
22 Therefore I will save my sheep, and they shall not be any more for a prey; and will judge between ram and ram.
so will ich meinen Schafen zu Hilfe kommen, daß sie hinfort nicht mehr zur Beute werden sollen, und ich will Recht sprechen zwischen den einzelnen Schafen.
23 And I will raise up one shepherd over them, and he shall tend them, [even] my servant David, and he shall be their shepherd;
Ich will ihnen einen einzigen Hirten erwecken, der sie weiden soll, nämlich meinen Knecht David; der soll sie weiden, und der soll ihr Hirte sein.
24 and I the Lord will be to them a God, and David a prince in the midst of them; I the Lord have spoken it.
Und ich, der HERR, will ihr Gott sein, und mein Knecht David soll Fürst sein mitten unter ihnen; ich, der HERR, habe es gesagt!
25 And I will make with David a covenant of peace and I will utterly destroy evil beasts from off the land; and they shall dwell in the wilderness, and sleep in the forests.
Ich will einen Friedensbund mit ihnen schließen und alle bösen Tiere aus dem Lande treiben, daß sie in der Wüste sicher wohnen und in den Wäldern schlafen können.
26 And I will settle them round about my mountain; and I will give you the rain, the rain of blessing.
Ich will sie und die Umgebung meines Hügels zum Segen setzen und will ihnen den Regen zu seiner Zeit herabsenden; das sollen gesegnete Regen sein!
27 And the trees that are in the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her strength, and they shall dwell in the confidence of peace on their land, and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken their yoke; and I will deliver them out of the hand of those that enslaved them.
Und die Bäume des Feldes sollen ihre Früchte bringen und das Erdreich sein Gewächs; und sie sollen sicher in ihrem Lande wohnen und erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich ihr Joch zerbreche und sie aus der Hand derer errette, die sie knechteten.
28 And they shall no more be a spoil to the nations, and the wild beasts of the land shall no more at all devour them; and they shall dwell safely, and there shall be none to make them afraid.
Sie sollen hinfort nicht mehr eine Beute der Heiden werden, noch sollen die wilden Tiere des Landes sie fressen, sondern sie sollen sicher wohnen, und niemand wird sie erschrecken.
29 And I will raise up for them a plant of peace, and they shall no more perish with hunger upon the land, and they shall no more bear the reproach of the nations.
Ich will ihnen auch eine berühmte Pflanze erwecken, daß sie nicht mehr durch Hunger im Lande weggerafft werden und die Schmähung der Heiden nicht mehr tragen müssen.
30 And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, and they my people. O house of Israel, says the Lord God,
Also werden sie erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, ihr Gott, bei ihnen bin und daß sie, das Haus Israel, mein Volk sind, spricht Gott, der HERR.
31 you are my sheep, even the sheep of my flock, and I am the Lord your God, says the Lord God.
Und ihr seid meine Herde; ihr Menschen seid die Schafe meiner Weide! Ich bin euer Gott, spricht Gott, der HERR.
