Jezekiel 31
1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first [day] of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
फिर ग्यारहवें बरस के तीसरे महीने की पहली तारीख़ को, ख़ुदावन्द का कलाम मुझ पर नाज़िल हुआ:
2 Son of man, say to Pharao king of Egypt, and to his multitude; To whom have you compared yourself in your haughtiness?
कि 'ऐ आदमज़ाद शाह — ए — मिस्र फ़िर'औन और उसके लोगों से कह, तुम अपनी बुजु़र्गी में किसकी तरह हो?
3 Behold, the Assyrian was a cypress in Libanus, and was fair in shoots, and high in stature: his top reached to the midst of the clouds.
देख असूर लुबनान का बुलन्द देवदार था, जिसकी डालियाँ ख़ूबसूरत थीं, और पत्तियों की कसरत से वह ख़ूब सायादार था और उसका क़द बुलन्द था, और उसकी चोटी घनी शाख़ों के बीच थी।
4 The water nourished him, the depth made him grow tall; she led her rivers round about his plants, and she sent forth her streams to all the trees of the field.
पानी ने उसकी परवरिश की, गहराव ने उसे बढ़ाया, उसकी नहरें चारों तरफ़ जारी थीं, और उसने अपनी नालियों को मैदान के सब दरख़्तों तक पहुँचाया।
5 Therefore was his stature exalted above all the trees of the field, and his branches spread far by the help of much water.
इसलिए पानी की कसरत से उसका क़द मैदान के सब दरख़्तों से बुलन्द हुआ, और जब वह लहलहाने लगा, तो उसकी शाख़ें फ़िरावान और उसकी डालियाँ दराज़ हुई।
6 All the birds of the sky made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches all the wild beasts of the field bred; the whole multitude of nations lived under his shadow.
हवा के सब परिन्दे उसकी शाख़ों पर अपने घोंसले बनाते थे, और उसकी डालियों के नीचे सब दश्ती हैवान बच्चे देते थे, और सब बड़ी बड़ी क़ौमें उसके साये में बसती थीं।
7 And he was fair in his height by reason of the multitude of his branches: for his roots were amidst much water.
यूँ वह अपनी बुजु़र्गी में अपनी डलियों की दराज़ी की वजह से ख़ुशनुमा था, क्यूँकि उसकी जड़ों के पास पानी की कसरत थी।
8 And such cypresses [as this] were in the paradise of God; and there were no pines like his shoots, and there were no firs like his branches: no tree in the paradise of God was like him in his beauty,
ख़ुदा के बाग़ के देवदार उसे छिपा न सके, सरो उसकी शाख़ों और चिनार उसकी डालियों के बराबर न थे और ख़ुदा के बाग़ का कोई दरख़्त ख़ूबसूरती में उसकी तरह न था।
9 because of the multitude of his branches: and the trees of God's paradise of delight envied him.
मैंने उसकी डालियों की फ़िरावानी से उसे हुस्न बख़्शा, यहाँ तक कि अदन के सब दरख़्तों को जो ख़ुदा के बाग़ में थे उस पर रश्क आता था।
10 Therefore thus says the Lord; Because you are grown great, and have set your top in the midst of the clouds, and I saw when he was exalted;
इसलिए ख़ुदावन्द ख़ुदा यूँ फ़रमाता है: कि चूँकि उसने आपको बुलन्द और अपनी चोटी को घनी शाख़ों के बीच ऊँचा किया, और उसके दिल में उसकी बूलन्दी पर गु़रूर समाया।
11 therefore I delivered him into the hands of the prince of the nations, and he wrought his destruction.
इसलिए मैं उसको क़ौमों में से एक उहदे दार के हवाले कर दूँगा, यक़ीनन वह उसका फ़ैसला करेगा, मैंने उसे उसकी शरारत की वजह से निकाल दिया।
12 And ravaging strangers from the nations have destroyed him, and have cast him down upon the mountains: his branches fell in all the valleys, and his boughs were broken in every field of the land; and all the people of the nations are gone down from their shelter, and have laid him low.
और अजनबी लोग जो क़ौमों में से हैबतनाक हैं, उसे काट डालेंगे और फेंक देंगे पहाड़ों और सब वादियों पर उसकी शाख़ें गिर पड़ेगी, और ज़मीन की सब नहरों के आस — पास उसकी डालियाँ तोड़ी जाएँगी, और इस ज़मीन के सब लोग उसके साये से निकल जाएँगे और उसे छोड़ देंगे।
13 All the birds of the sky have settled on his fallen trunk, and all the wild beasts of the field came upon his boughs:
हवा के सब परिन्दे उसके टूटे तने में बसेंगे, और तमाम दश्ती जानवर उसकी शाख़ों पर होंगे।
14 in order that none of the trees by the water should exalt themselves by reason of their size: whereas they set their top in the midst of the clouds, yet they continued not in their high state in their place, all that drank water, all were consigned to death, to the depth of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.
ताकि लब — ए — आब के सब बलूतों के दरख़्तों में से कोई अपनी बुलन्दी पर मग़रूर न हो, और अपनी चोटी घनी शाख़ों के बीच ऊँची न करे, और उनमें से बड़े बड़े और पानी जज़्ब करने वाले सीधे खड़े न हों, क्यूँकि वह सबके सब मौत के हवाले किए जाएँगे, या'नी ज़मीन के तह में बनी आदम के बीच जो पाताल में उतरते हैं।
15 Thus says the Lord God; In the day wherein he went down to Hades, the deep mourned for him: and I stayed her floods, and restrained her abundance of water: and Libanus saddened for him, all the trees of the field fainted for him. (Sheol h7585)
ख़ुदावन्द ख़ुदा यूँ फ़रमाता है: कि जिस रोज़ वह पाताल में उतरे मैं मातम कराऊँगा, मैं उसकी वजह से गहराव को छिपा दूँगा और उसकी नहरों को रोक दूँगा और बड़े सैलाब थम जाएँगे; हाँ, मैं लुबनान को उसके लिए सियाह पोश कराऊँगा, और उसके लिए मैदान के सब दरख़्त ग़शी में आएँगे। (Sheol h7585)
16 At the sound of his fall the nations quaked, when I brought him down to Hades with them that go down to the pit: and all the trees of Delight comforted him in the heart, and the choice of [plants] of Libanus, all that drink water. (Sheol h7585)
जिस वक़्त मैं उसे उन सब के साथ जो गढ़े में गिरते हैं, पाताल में डालूँगा, तो उसके गिरने के शोर से तमाम क़ौम लरज़ाँ होंगी; और अदन के सब दरख़्त, लुबनान के चीदा और नफ़ीस, वह सब जो पानी जज़्ब करते हैं ज़मीन के तह में तसल्ली पाएँगे। (Sheol h7585)
17 For they went down to hell with him among the slain with the sword; and his seed, [even] they that lived under his shadow, perished in the midst of their life. (Sheol h7585)
वह भी उसके साथ उन तक, जो तलवार से मारे गए, पाताल में उतर जाएँगे और वह भी जो उसके बाज़ू थे, और क़ौमों के बीच उसके साये में बसते थे वहीं होंगे। (Sheol h7585)
18 To whom are you compared? descend, and be you debased with the trees of paradise to the depth of the earth: you shall lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword. Thus shall Pharao be, and the multitude of his host, says the Lord God.
“तू शान — ओ — शौकत में अदन के दरख़्तों में से किसकी तरह है? लेकिन तू अदन के दरख़्तों के साथ ज़मीन के तह में डाला जाएगा, तू उनके साथ जो तलवार से क़त्ल हुए, नामख़्तूनों के बीच पड़ा रहेगा; यही फ़िर'औन और उसके सब लोग हैं, ख़ुदावन्द ख़ुदा फ़रमाता है।”
