Jezekiel 31
1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first [day] of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ, ಮೂರನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ, ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು:
2 Son of man, say to Pharao king of Egypt, and to his multitude; To whom have you compared yourself in your haughtiness?
“ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹನೊಂದಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಮೂಹದೊಂದಿಗೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “‘ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೊಡ್ಡಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿರುವೆ?
3 Behold, the Assyrian was a cypress in Libanus, and was fair in shoots, and high in stature: his top reached to the midst of the clouds.
ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯವು ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳುಳ್ಳ ದೇವದಾರು ಆಗಿದೆ. ಅದರ ನೆರಳು ದಟ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ, ಬಹಳ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಅದರ ತುದಿಯು ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆಯಿತ್ತು.
4 The water nourished him, the depth made him grow tall; she led her rivers round about his plants, and she sent forth her streams to all the trees of the field.
ಅದನ್ನು ಜಲಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳು ಬೆಳೆಸಿದವು, ಆಳವಾದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳೆಸಿದವು. ಅವುಗಳ ತೊರೆಗಳು ಅದರ ಬುಡದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹರಿದು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಲದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದವು.
5 Therefore was his stature exalted above all the trees of the field, and his branches spread far by the help of much water.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅದರ ಎತ್ತರವು ಬಯಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ಹಬ್ಬಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನೀರಿನ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಅಧಿಕವಾದವು; ಅದರ ರೆಂಬೆಗಳು ಉದ್ದವಾದವು.
6 All the birds of the sky made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches all the wild beasts of the field bred; the whole multitude of nations lived under his shadow.
ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಗೂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದವು. ಅದರ ರೆಂಬೆಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಯಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳು ಮರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಜನ್ಮ ಕೊಟ್ಟವು. ಅದರ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಹಾಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದವು.
7 And he was fair in his height by reason of the multitude of his branches: for his roots were amidst much water.
ಹೀಗೆ ಅದರ ತನ್ನ ದೊಡ್ಡಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ನೀಳವಾದ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದರ ಬೇರು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ನೀರಿನ ಆಸರೆ ಪಡೆದಿತ್ತು.
8 And such cypresses [as this] were in the paradise of God; and there were no pines like his shoots, and there were no firs like his branches: no tree in the paradise of God was like him in his beauty,
ದೇವರ ತೋಟದ ದೇವದಾರುಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ತುರಾಯಿ ಮರಗಳು ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಲದ ಮರಗಳು ಅದರ ರೆಂಬೆಗಳಷ್ಟೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆ ದೇವರ ತೋಟದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮರವು ಇದರ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.
9 because of the multitude of his branches: and the trees of God's paradise of delight envied him.
ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳ ಸಮೂಹದಿಂದ ಸುಂದರಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆನು. ಅದರಿಂದ ದೇವರ ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿನ ಏದೆನಿನ ಮರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಕಿಚ್ಚು ಪಟ್ಟವು.
10 Therefore thus says the Lord; Because you are grown great, and have set your top in the midst of the clouds, and I saw when he was exalted;
“‘ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವನು ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ತನ್ನ ತುದಿ ಮೋಡಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವಷ್ಟು ನೀಳವಾಗಿದ್ದುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗರ್ವಪಟ್ಟನು.
11 therefore I delivered him into the hands of the prince of the nations, and he wrought his destruction.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶೂರನಾದ ಒಬ್ಬನ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇವನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅದರ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
12 And ravaging strangers from the nations have destroyed him, and have cast him down upon the mountains: his branches fell in all the valleys, and his boughs were broken in every field of the land; and all the people of the nations are gone down from their shelter, and have laid him low.
ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಂಕರವಾದ ವಿದೇಶಿಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಡಿದುಹಾಕುವರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ತಗ್ಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅದರ ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳು ಬೀಳುವುವು. ದೇಶದ ಹಳ್ಳಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರ ರೆಂಬೆಗಳು ಮುರಿದು ಹೋಗುವುವು. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಜನಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅದರ ನೆರಳಿನಿಂದ ದೂರ ಸರಿದು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವರು.
13 All the birds of the sky have settled on his fallen trunk, and all the wild beasts of the field came upon his boughs:
ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದ ಮರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುವು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳು ಅದರ ರೆಂಬೆಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುವು.
14 in order that none of the trees by the water should exalt themselves by reason of their size: whereas they set their top in the midst of the clouds, yet they continued not in their high state in their place, all that drank water, all were consigned to death, to the depth of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.
ನೀರಾವರಿಯ ಯಾವ ಮರಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಎತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ತುದಿಯನ್ನು ಮೋಡಗಳಿಗೆ ತಗುಲಿಸದೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೀರುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮರಗಳು ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಚಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರಲೆಂದು ಹೀಗಾಯಿತು, ಅವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಣದ ಪಾಲಾಗುವುವು. ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧೋಲೋಕವೇ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವುದು, ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದು ಹೋದ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಜನ್ಮದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಸೇರುವುವು.
15 Thus says the Lord God; In the day wherein he went down to Hades, the deep mourned for him: and I stayed her floods, and restrained her abundance of water: and Libanus saddened for him, all the trees of the field fainted for him. (Sheol h7585)
“‘ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ಅದು ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಇಳಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಆಳವಾದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ದುಃಖದಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೆನು; ನಾನು ಅದರ ಪ್ರವಾಹವನ್ನು ತಡೆಹಿಡಿದೆನು. ಮಹಾಜಲವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆನು. ನಾನು ಲೆಬನೋನನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಗೋಳಿಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು. ಬಯಲಿನ ಮರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದವು. (Sheol h7585)
16 At the sound of his fall the nations quaked, when I brought him down to Hades with them that go down to the pit: and all the trees of Delight comforted him in the heart, and the choice of [plants] of Libanus, all that drink water. (Sheol h7585)
ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕುಳಿಗೆ ಇಳಿಯುವವರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅದು ಬಿದ್ದ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಡುಗಿದವು. ಅಧೋಲೋಕದ ಪಾಲಾದ ಏದೆನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮರಗಳು, ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಉತ್ತಮೋತ್ತಮವಾದ ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳು, ನೀರು ಕುಡಿಯುವುವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೈಸಿಕೊಂಡವು. (Sheol h7585)
17 For they went down to hell with him among the slain with the sword; and his seed, [even] they that lived under his shadow, perished in the midst of their life. (Sheol h7585)
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತೋಳಬಲವಾಗಿ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಅದರ ನೆರಳನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿದವರು, ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕಿಳಿದು, ಖಡ್ಗಹತರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದರು. (Sheol h7585)
18 To whom are you compared? descend, and be you debased with the trees of paradise to the depth of the earth: you shall lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword. Thus shall Pharao be, and the multitude of his host, says the Lord God.
“‘ನೀನು ಹೀಗೆ ಘನತೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಏದೆನಿನ ಯಾವ ಮರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಮನಾಗಿರುವೆ? ಆದರೂ ನೀನು ಏದೆನಿನ ಮರಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕೆಳಭಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ ದೂಡಿದವನಾಗುವೆ. ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಹತರಾದವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಲಗುವೆ. “‘ಇದೇ ಫರೋಹನನೂ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಸಮೂಹವೂ ಆಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.’”
