Jezekiel 27
1 And the word of the Lord came to me saying,
| خداوند به من فرمود: «ای پسر انسان، برای صور این مرثیهٔ غم‌انگیز را بخوان: |
2 And you, son of man, take up a lamentation against Sor;
3 and you shall say to Sor that dwells at the entrance of the sea, to the mart of the nations coming from many islands, Thus says the Lord to Sor; You have said, I have clothed myself with my beauty.
| «ای شهر مقتدر بندری، ای مرکز تجارت دنیا، به پیام خداوند یهوه گوش کن! می‌گویی که در تمام دنیا شهری زیباتر از تو نیست. |
4 In the heart of the sea your sons have put beauty upon you for Beelim.
| تو حدود خود را به داخل دریا رسانیده‌ای و سازندگانت تو را مانند یک کشتی زیبا ساخته‌اند. |
5 Cedar in Senir was employed for you in building: boards of cypress timber were taken out of Libanus, and wood to make you masts of fir.
| ایشان تخته‌های تو را از بهترین صنوبرهای کوه هرمون درست کرده‌اند و دکلهای تو را از سروهای لبنان ساخته‌اند. |
6 They made your oars [of wood] out of the land of Basan; your sacred utensils they made of ivory, your shady houses of wood from the isles of Chetiim.
| پاروهایت از چوب بلوط ناحیهٔ باشان است. عرشهٔ تو را از چوب شمشاد ساحل جنوبی قبرس ساخته‌اند و با عاج آنها را زینت داده‌اند. |
7 Fine linen with embroidery from Egypt supplied the couch, to put honor upon you, and to clothe you with blue and purple from the isles of Elisai; and they became your coverings.
| بادبانهایت از بهترین پارچه‌های کتان گلدوزی شدهٔ مصر ساخته شده است. سایبان آبی و بنفش تو را از ناحیهٔ شرقی جزیرهٔ قبرس آورده‌اند. |
8 And your princes were the dwellers in Sidon, and the Aradians were your rowers: your wise men, O Sor, who were in you, these were your pilots.
| پاروزنان تو اهل صیدون و اَرواد هستند و ملوانان تو از ماهرترین افراد سرزمینت می‌باشند. |
9 The elders of the Biblians, and their wise men, who were in you, these helped your counsel: and all the ships of the sea and their rowers traded for you to the utmost west.
| کار قیراندود کردن درزهای کشتی‌ات به عهدهٔ مردان پیر و کارآزمودهٔ جِبال است. کشتی‌های پر از کالا از همه جا می‌آیند تا با تو داد و ستد نمایند. |
10 Persians and Lydians and Libyans were in your army: your warriors hung in you shields and helmets; these gave [you] your glory.
| مردان سرزمینهای دور دست پارس، لود، و فوط جزو سپاهیان تو می‌باشند. آنها کمر به خدمت تو بسته‌اند و تو افتخار می‌کنی از اینکه ایشان سپرها و کلاهخودهای خود را بر دیوارهایت آویزان می‌کنند. |
11 The sons of the Aradians and your army were upon the walls; there were guards in your towers: they hung their quivers on your battlements round about; these completed your beauty.
| سربازان ارواد بر دیوارهایت نگهبانی می‌دهند و مردان جماد بر برجهای تو دیدبانی می‌کنند. سپرهای خود را به ردیف روی دیوارها می‌آویزند و شکوه و زیبایی تو را کامل می‌کنند. |
12 The Carthaginians were your merchants because of the abundance of all your strength; they furnished your market with silver, and gold, and iron, and tin, and lead.
| «تو با ترشیش تجارت می‌کنی. از آنجا نقره، آهن، روی و سرب فراوان به بازارهایت می‌آید. |
13 Greece, both the whole [world], and the adjacent coasts, these traded with you in the persons of men, and they gave [as] your merchandise vessels of brass.
| تاجران یونان، توبال و ماشک برده‌ها و ظروف مفرغین برای تو می‌آورند، |
14 Out of the house of Thogarma horses and horsemen furnished the market.
| و تاجران توجرمه، اسب بارکش، اسب جنگی و قاطر به تو می‌فروشند. |
15 The sons of the Rhodians were your merchants; from the islands they multiplied your merchandise, [even] elephants' teeth: and to them that came in you did return your prices,
| «تاجران رودس و بازرگانان سرزمینهای ساحلی، مجذوب بازارهای تو هستند و عاج و چوب آبنوس را با کالاهای تو معاوضه می‌کنند. |
16 [even] men [as] your merchandise, from the multitude of your trading [population], myrrh and embroidered works from Tharsis: Ramoth also and Chorchor furnished your market.
| سوریه برای خرید کالاهای فراوانت تاجران خود را نزد تو می‌فرستد. آنها با خود زمرد، ارغوان، پارچه‌های گلدوزی شده، کتان لطیف، مرجان و عقیق می‌آورند. |
17 Juda and the children of Israel, these were your merchants; in the sale of corn and ointments and cassia: and they gave the best honey, and oil, and resin, to your trading [population].
| یهودا و اسرائیل تجار خود را با گندم، حلوا، عسل، روغن زیتون و بلسان نزد تو می‌فرستند. |
18 [The people of] Damascus were your merchants by reason of the abundance of all your power; wine out of Chelbon, and wool from Miletus; and they brought wine into your market.
| دمشق هم برای خرید کالا و صنایع گوناگون تو، شراب حلبون و پشم سفید سوری به تو می‌دهد. |
19 Out of Asel [came] wrought iron, and there is the sound of wheels among your trading [population].
| دانی‌ها و یونانیان اهل اوزال با تو روابط تجاری دارند و برایت آهن، سلیخه و نیشکر می‌آورند. |
20 [The people of] Daedan were your merchants, with choice cattle for chariots.
| و اهالی ددان نمدهای نفیس برای زین اسبانت به تو می‌فروشند. |
21 Arabia and all the princes of Kedar, these were your traders with you, [bringing] camels, and lambs, and rams, in which they trade with you.
| «عربها و بزرگان قیدار برایت بره و قوچ و بز می‌آورند. |
22 The merchants of Sabba and Ramma, these were your merchants, with choice spices, and precious stones: and they brought gold to your market.
| بازرگانان سبا و رعمه با همه نوع ادویه‌جات و جواهرات و طلا می‌آیند. |
23 Charra, and Chanaa, these were your merchants: Assur, and Charman, were your merchants:
| تجار حران، کنه، عدن، سبا، آشور و کلمد نزد تو می‌آیند. |
24 bringing [for] merchandise blue, and choice stores bound with cords, and cypress wood.
| آنها برای معامله با تو همه نوع کالا می‌آورند لباسهای فاخر، پارچه‌های آبی، پارچه‌های گلدوزی شده، فرشهای رنگارنگ، طنابها و ریسمانهای نفیس. |
25 Ships were your merchants, in abundance, with your trading [population]: and you were filled and very heavily loaded in the heart of the sea.
| کالاهای تو با کشتی‌های بزرگ تجاری حمل می‌شوند. انبارهای جزیرهٔ تو پر و لبریزند! |
26 Your rowers have brought you into great waters: the south wind has broken you in the heart of the sea.
| ولی رهبرانت، کشتی سرزمین تو را به وسط دریا می‌رانند؛ در آنجا کشتی تو گرفتار تندباد شرقی شده، در قلب دریا در هم شکسته خواهد شد. |
27 Your forces, and your gain, and that of your traders, and your rowers, and your pilots, and your counselors, and they that traffic with you, and all your warriors that are in you: and all your company in the midst of you shall perish in the heart of the sea, in the day of your fall.
| همه چیز تو از دست خواهد رفت. اموال و کالاها، ناخدایان و ملوانان، کشتی‌سازان و بازرگانان، سربازان و همهٔ قوم تو در روز در هم شکسته شدن کشتی‌ات در دریا غرق خواهند شد. |
28 At the cry of your voice your pilots shall be greatly terrified.
| از فریاد ناخدایان تو سواحل دریا تکان خواهند خورد. |
29 And all the rowers and the mariners shall come down from the ships, and the pilots of the sea shall stand on the land.
| «همهٔ دریانوردان به خشکی خواهند آمد و در ساحل ایستاده، نگاه خواهند کرد. |
30 And they shall wail over you with their voice, and cry bitterly, and put earth on their heads, and spread ashes under them.
| به تلخی خواهند گریست، خاک بر سر خود خواهند ریخت و در خاکستر خواهند غلطید. |
| از غصه و ناراحتی موی سر خود را خواهند کند، لباس ماتم پوشیده؛ با تلخی جان برایت گریه خواهند کرد. آنها عزا خواهند گرفت |
32 And their sons shall take up a [lament] for you, even a lamentation for Sor, [saying],
| و این مرثیه را برای تو خواهند خواند:”در تمام دنیا شهری به زیبایی و عظمت صور نبود، ولی ببینید حالا چگونه در وسط دریا خاموش شده است! |
33 How large a reward have you gained from the sea? you have filled nations out of your abundance; and out of your mixed merchandise you have enriched all the kings of the earth.
| ای صور اموال و ثروت تو بسیاری از قومها را سیر می‌کرد. پادشاهان جهان را با کالاهای صادراتی خود ثروتمند می‌نمودی. |
34 Now are you broken in the sea, your traders are in the deep water, and all your company in the midst of you: all your rowers have fallen.
| اما اینک در هم شکسته شده، زیر دریا مدفون گشته‌ای. تمام کالاها و کارکنانت با تو هلاک شده‌اند. |
35 All the dwellers in the islands have mourned over you, and their kings have been utterly amazed, and their countenance has wept.
| همهٔ ساحل‌نشینان از آنچه که به سر تو آمده است حیرانند. پادشاهان ایشان وحشتزده و پریشانحال می‌باشند. |
36 Merchants from the nations have hissed at you; you are utterly destroyed, and shall not be any more for ever.
| تجار ممالک سر خود را تکان می‌دهند، چون سرنوشت تو وحشتناک است و تو برای همیشه از بین رفته‌ای.“» |
