Jezekiel 24
1 And the word of the Lord came to me, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth [day] of the month, saying,
౧బబులోను చెరలో ఉన్న కాలంలో, తొమ్మిదో సంవత్సరం, పదో నెల, పదో రోజు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు మళ్ళీ ప్రత్యక్షమై ఇలా అన్నాడు,
2 Son of man, write for yourself daily from this day, on which the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem, [even] from this day.
౨“నరపుత్రుడా, ఈ రోజు పేరు రాసి ఉంచుకో. కచ్చితంగా ఈ రోజే బబులోను రాజు యెరూషలేమును ముట్టడి వేశాడు.
3 And speak a parable to the provoking house, and you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord; Set on the caldron, and pour water into it:
౩తిరుగుబాటుచేసే ఈ ప్రజలకు ఉపమాన రీతిగా ఒక సామెత చెప్పు, ప్రభువైన యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమంటే, వంట కుండ తెచ్చి అందులో నీళ్లు పోసి దాన్ని పొయ్యి మీద పెట్టు.
4 and put the pieces into it, every prime piece, the leg and shoulder taken off from the bones,
౪తొడ, జబ్బ మొదలైన మంచి ముక్కలన్నీ అందులో వేసి, మంచి ఎముకలు ఏరి దాన్ని నింపు.
5 [which are] taken from choice cattle, and burn the bones under them: her bones are boiled and cooked in the midst of her.
౫మందలో శ్రేష్ఠమైన వాటిని తీసికో. దానిలో ఉన్న ఎముకలు ఉడికేలా ఎక్కువ కట్టెలు పోగు చెయ్యి, దాన్ని బాగా పొంగించు. ఎముకలు ఉడికేలా పొంగించు.
6 Therefore thus says the Lord; O bloody city, the caldron in which there is scum, and the scum has not gone out of, she has brought it forth piece by piece, no lot has fallen upon it.
౬కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమంటే, రక్త నగరానికి బాధ. మడ్డి గల ఆ కుండకు బాధ తప్పదు. దానిలోనుంచి ఆ మడ్డి పోదు. దానికోసం చీటీలు వెయ్యకుండా వండిన దాన్ని ముక్క వెంట ముక్క దానిలోనుంచి తీసుకో.
7 For her blood is in the midst of her; I have set it upon a smooth rock: I have not poured it out upon the earth, so that the earth should cover it;
౭దాని రక్తం దాని మధ్యనే ఉంది. అది దాన్ని నున్నటి బండ మీద ఉంచింది. మట్టితో దాన్ని కప్పేందుకు వీలుగా ఆ రక్తాన్ని నేల మీద కుమ్మరించ లేదు.
8 that my wrath should come up for complete vengeance to be taken: I set her blood upon a smooth rock, so as not to cover it.
౮కాబట్టి దాని విషయం కోపాగ్ని రేకెత్తించి ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకోవాలని, అది చిందించిన రక్తం మట్టితో కప్పకుండా దాన్ని ఆ నున్నటి బండ మీద నేను ఉండనిచ్చాను.”
9 Therefore thus says the Lord, I will also make the firebrand great,
౯కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమంటే “ఆ నెత్తురు నగరానికి బాధ. నేను కూడా మరి ఎక్కువ కట్టెలు పేర్చబోతున్నాను.
10 and I will multiply the wood, and kindle the fire, that the flesh may be consumed, and the liquor boiled away;
౧౦కట్టెలు ఎక్కువ చెయ్యి! అగ్ని రాజెయ్యి! మాంసాన్ని బాగా ఉడకబెట్టు. మాంసం బాగా ఉడికించి మసాలా కలిపి పులుసు పెట్టు! ఎముకలు బాగా మగ్గనివ్వు!
11 and that [it] may stand upon the coals, that her brass may be thoroughly heated, and be melted in the midst of her filthiness, and her scum may be consumed,
౧౧తరువాత ఖాళీ గిన్నె పొయ్యి మీద పెట్టు. అప్పుడు దానికున్న అశుద్ధం, మడ్డీ కరిగిపోతాయి. అది వేడై ఆ కంచును కాల్చే వరకూ ఆ గిన్నె పొయ్యి మీదే ఉంచు.
12 and her abundant scum may not come forth of her.
౧౨అలసట పుట్టే వరకూ ఇంతగా శ్రమించినా, అగ్నిలో కాల్చినా, దానిలో నుంచి ఆ తుప్పు పోలేదు.
13 Her scum shall become shameful, because you did defile yourself: and what if you shall be purged no more until I have accomplished my wrath?
౧౩నీ సిగ్గుమాలిన ప్రవర్తన నీ అపవిత్రతలో ఉంది. నిన్ను శుద్ధి చెయ్యడానికి నేను పూనుకున్నా, నువ్వు శుద్ధి కాలేదు. నీపై నా క్రోధం తీర్చుకునే వరకూ నువ్వు శుద్ధి కావు.
14 I the Lord have spoken; and it shall come, and I will do [it]; I will not delay, neither will I have any mercy: I will judge you, says the Lord, according to your ways, and according to your devices: therefore will I judge you according to your bloodshed, and according to your devices will I judge you, you unclean, notorious, and abundantly provoking one.
౧౪యెహోవానైన నేను ప్రకటించాను. అది జరుగుతుంది. నేనే దాన్ని నెరవేరుస్తాను. నేను వెనుకాడను, కనికరించను. నీ ప్రవర్తనను బట్టి, నీ క్రియలనుబట్టి నీకు శిక్ష ఉంటుంది. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.”
15 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
౧౫యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు వచ్చి ఇలా అన్నాడు,
16 Son of man, behold I take from you the desire of your eyes by violence: you shall not lament, neither shall you weep.
౧౬“నరపుత్రుడా, చూడు! నీ కళ్ళకు ఇష్టమైన దాన్ని నీ నుంచి ఒక్క తెగులు మూలంగా తీసేస్తాను. నువ్వు సంతాప పడవద్దు. కన్నీరు కార్చ వద్దు.
17 You shall groan for blood, and have mourning upon your loins; your hair shall not be braided upon you, and your sandals [shall be] on your feet; you shall in no wise be comforted by their lips, and you shall not eat the bread of men.
౧౭నువ్వు మౌనంగా మూలగాలి. చనిపోయిన వాళ్లకు అంత్యక్రియలు చెయ్యొద్దు. తలపాగా కట్టుకుని చెప్పులు వేసుకో. నీ గడ్డం దాచుకోవద్దు, భార్యను కోల్పోయిన పురుషుని ఆహారం తినొద్దు.”
18 And I spoke to the people in the morning, as he commanded me in the evening, and I did in the morning as it was commanded me.
౧౮ఉదయం ప్రజలకు నేను ప్రకటించాను. సాయంత్రం నా భార్య చనిపోగా నాకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్టు మరుసటి ఉదయాన నేను చేశాను.
19 And the people said to me, Will you not tell us what these things are that you do?
౧౯ప్రజలు నన్ను “నువ్వు చేస్తున్నవాటి అర్థం మాకు చెప్పవా?” అని అడిగారు.
20 Then I said to them, The word of the Lord came to me, saying,
౨౦కాబట్టి నేను వాళ్ళతో “యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై ఇలా చెప్పాడు,
21 Say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord; Behold, I [will] profane my sanctuary, the boast of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and for which your souls are concerned; and your sons and your daughters, whom you have left, shall fall by the sword.
౨౧ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు నువ్వు ఈ విధంగా చెప్పు, చూడు! ప్రభువైన యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమంటే, మీ బలంలో మీకున్న అతిశయం, మీ నేత్రాశలు, మీ మనస్సులో మీకున్న వాంఛలు నా పవిత్ర ప్రాంగణాన్ని అపవిత్రం చేస్తున్నాయి! కాబట్టి, మీరు వెనుక విడిచిన మీ కొడుకులూ, కూతుళ్ళూ కత్తిచేత కూలిపోతారు.
22 And you shall do as I have done: you shall not be comforted at their mouth, and you shall not eat the bread of men.
౨౨అప్పుడు నేను చేసినట్టే మీరూ చేస్తారు. మీ గడ్డాలు కప్పుకోరు. సంతాపంలో ఉన్న పురుషుల ఆహారం తినరు!
23 And your hair [shall be] upon your head, and your shoes on your feet: neither shall you at all lament or weep; but you shall pine away in your iniquities, and shall comfort every one his brother.
౨౩మీ తలపాగాలు మీ తలలపై ఉంటాయి. మీ చెప్పులు మీ కాళ్ళకు ఉంటాయి. మీరు సంతాపపడరు, కన్నీరు కార్చరు. ఒకడినొకరు చూసి మూలుగుతూ, మీరు చేసిన దోషాల కారణంగా క్షీణించిపోతారు.
24 And Jezekiel shall be for a sign to you: according to all that I have done shall you do, when these things shall come; and you shall know that I am the Lord.
౨౪కాబట్టి, యెహెజ్కేలు మీకు సూచనగా ఉంటాడు. అతడు చేసిన ప్రకారం మీరూ చేస్తారు. అప్పుడు నేను ప్రభువైన యెహోవానని మీరు తెలుసుకుంటారు.”
25 And you, son of man, [shall it] not [be] in the day when I take their strength from them, the pride of their boasting, the desires of their eyes, and the pride of their soul, their sons and their daughters,
౨౫“కాని, నరపుత్రుడా, వాళ్ళ ఆనందాన్నీ, వాళ్ళ అతిశయాన్నీ, వాళ్ళ కళ్ళకు ఇష్టమైనదాన్నీ, వాళ్ళ కొడుకులనూ, వాళ్ళ కూతుళ్ళనూ నేను బలవంతంగా పట్టుకున్న రోజు నీకు సమాచారం తెలియజేయడానికి, తప్పించుకుని వచ్చిన వాడొకడు నీదగ్గరికి వస్తాడు.
26 that in that day he that escapes shall come to you, to tell [it] you in your ears?
౨౬ఆ రోజున నువ్వింక మౌనంగా ఉండకుండాా, తప్పించుకుని వచ్చిన వాడితో నోరు తెరిచి స్పష్టంగా మాట్లాడతావు,
27 In that day your mouth shall be opened to him that escapes; you shall speak, and shall be no longer dumb: and you shall be for a sign to them, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
౨౭నేను యెహోవానై ఉన్నానని వాళ్ళు తెలుసుకునేలా నువ్వు వాళ్లకు సూచనగా ఉంటావు.”
