Jezekiel 2

1 This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And I saw and fell upon my face, and heard the voice of one speaking: and he said to me, Son of man, stand upon your feet, and I will speak to you.

௧அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: மனிதகுமாரனே, உன்னுடைய காலூன்றி நில்; உன்னுடனே பேசுவேன் என்றார்.

2 And the Spirit came upon me, and took me up, and raised me, and set me on my feet: and I heard him speaking to me.

௨இப்படி அவர் என்னுடன் பேசும்போது, தேவனுடைய ஆவி எனக்குள் வந்து, என்னைக் காலூன்றி நிற்கும்படி செய்தது; அப்பொழுது அவர் என்னுடனே பேசுகிறதைக்கேட்டேன்.

3 And he said to me, Son of Man, I send you forth to the house of Israel, them that provoke me; who have provoked me, they and their fathers to this day.

௩அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: மனிதகுமாரனே, எனக்கு எதிராக எழும்பின கலகக்கார தேசமாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களிடத்திற்கு நான் உன்னை அனுப்புகிறேன்; அவர்களும் அவர்கள் முன்னோர்களும் இந்த நாள்வரைக்கும் எனக்கு எதிராக துரோகம் செய்தார்கள்.

4 And you shall say to them, Thus says the Lord.

௪அவர்கள் கடினமுகமும் முரட்டாட்ட இருதயம் உள்ள மக்கள்; அவர்களிடத்திற்கு நான் உன்னை அனுப்புகிறேன்; யெகோவாகிய ஆண்டவர் இன்னின்னதை சொல்கிறார் என்று அவர்களிடம் சொல்.

5 Whether then indeed they shall hear or fear, (for it is a provoking house, ) yet they shall know that you are a prophet in the midst of them.

௫கலகமக்களாகிய அவர்கள் கேட்டாலும் சரி, கேட்காவிட்டாலும் சரி, தங்களுக்குள்ளே ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி உண்டென்கிறதை அவர்கள் அறியவேண்டும்.

6 And you, son of man, fear them not, nor be dismayed at their face; (for they will madden and will rise up against you round about, and you dwell in the midst of scorpions): be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their countenance, for it is a provoking house.

௬மனிதகுமாரனே, நீ அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; அவர்களுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்கும் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; நெரிஞ்சில்களுக்குள்ளும் முட்களுக்குள்ளும் நீ தங்கியிருந்தாலும், நீ தேள்களுக்குள் வாசம்செய்தாலும், நீ அவர்களுடைய வார்த்தைகளுக்குப் பயப்படாமலும் அவர்கள் முகத்திற்குக் கலங்காமலும் இரு; அவர்கள் கலகமக்கள்.

7 And you shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear or fear: for it is a provoking house.

௭கலகக்காரராகிய அவர்கள் கேட்டாலும் சரி, கேட்காவிட்டாலும் சரி, நீ என்னுடைய வார்த்தைகளை அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லு.

8 And you, son of man, hear him that speaks to you; be not you provoking, as the provoking house: open your mouth, and eat what I give you.

௮மனிதகுமாரனே, நீ அந்தக் கலகவீட்டாரைப்போலக் கலகக்காரனாக இல்லாமல், நான் உன்னுடன் சொல்லுகிறதைக் கேள்; உன்னுடைய வாயைத் திறந்து நான் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கிறதை சாப்பிடு என்றார்.

9 And I looked, and behold, a hand stretched out to me, and in it a volume of a book.

௯அப்பொழுது இதோ, என்னிடத்திற்கு நீட்டப்பட்ட ஒரு கையைக் கண்டேன்; அந்தக் கையிலே ஒரு புத்தகச்சுருள் இருந்தது.

10 And he unrolled it before me: and in it the front and the back were written [upon]: and there was written [in it] Lamentation, and mournful song, and woe.

௧0அவர் அதை எனக்கு முன்பாக விரித்தார்; அதில் உள்ளும் வெளியும் எழுதப்பட்டிருந்தது; அதிலே புலம்பல்களும், தவிப்பும், ஐயோ என்பதும் எழுதியிருந்தது.
