Jezekiel 16
1 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Din nou cuvântul DOMNULUI a venit la mine, spunând:
2 Son of man, testify to Jerusalem [of] her iniquities;
Fiu al omului, fă cunoscute Ierusalimului urâciunile lui;
3 and you shall say, Thus says the Lord to Jerusalem; Your root and your birth are of the land of Chanaan: your father was an Amorite, and your mother a Chettite.
Și spune: Astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEUL Ierusalimului: Originea ta și nașterea ta [sunt] din țara lui Canaan; tatăl tău [a fost] amorit și mama ta hitită.
4 And [as for] your birth in the day wherein you were born, you did not bind your breasts, and you were not washed in water, neither was you salted with salt, neither was you swathed in swaddling-bands.
Și [cât despre] nașterea ta, în ziua în care ai fost născută, buricul tău nu s-a tăiat, nici nu ai fost spălată în apă pentru înmuiere; nu ai fost [tratată] deloc cu sare, nici înfășată deloc.
5 Nor did mine eye pity you, to do for you one of all these things, to feel at all for you; but you were cast out on the face of the field, because of the deformity of your person, in the day wherein you were born.
Niciun ochi nu s-a milostivit de tine, pentru a-ți face ceva din acestea, să aibă milă de tine; ci ai fost aruncată în câmp deschis, pentru a fi detestată ființa ta, în ziua în care te-ai născut.
6 And I passed by to you, and saw you polluted in your blood; and I said to you, [Let there be] life out of your blood:
Și când eu am trecut pe lângă tine și te-am văzut murdărită în propriul tău sânge și ți-am spus [pe când erai] în sângele tău: Trăiește! Da, ți-am spus [pe când erai] în sângele tău: Trăiește!
7 increase; I have made you as the springing grass of the field. So you did increase and grow, and did enter into great cities: your breasts were set, and your hair grew, whereas you were naked and bare.
Eu te-am făcut să te înmulțești ca mugurele câmpului și ai crescut și te-ai făcut mare și ai ajuns podoaba podoabelor; sânii [tăi] s-au rotunjit și părul tău a crescut, deși [erai] goală și fără haine.
8 And I passed by you and saw you, and, behold, [it was] your time and a time of resting; and I spread my wings over you, and covered your shame, and swear to you: and I entered into covenant with you, says the Lord, and you became mine.
Acum, după ce am trecut pe lângă tine și te-am privit, iată, timpul tău [era] timpul dragostei; și mi-am întins învelitoarea peste tine și ți-am acoperit goliciunea; da, ți-am jurat și am intrat în legământ cu tine, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU și tu ai devenit a mea.
9 And I washed you in water, and washed your blood from you, and anointed you with oil.
Atunci te-am spălat cu apă; da, ți-am spălat în întregime sângele de pe tine și te-am uns cu untdelemn.
10 And I clothed you with embroidered [garments], and clothed you beneath with purple, and girded you with fine linen, and clothed you with silk,
Te-am îmbrăcat de asemenea cu lucrare brodată și te-am încălțat cu piele de bursuc și te-am încins cu in subțire și te-am acoperit cu mătase.
11 and decked you also with ornaments, and put bracelets on your hands, and a necklace on your neck.
Te-am împodobit de asemenea cu ornamente și ți-am pus brățări la mâini și un lănțișor la gât.
12 And I put a pendant on your nostril, and rings in your ears, and a crown of glory on your head.
Și ți-am pus o bijuterie pe frunte și cercei în urechi și o coroană frumoasă pe cap.
13 So you were adorned with gold and silver; and your raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and variegated work: you did eat fine flour, and oil, and honey, and did become extremely beautiful.
Astfel ai fost împodobită cu aur și cu argint și veșmântul tău [era din] in subțire și mătase și lucrare brodată; ai mâncat floarea făinii și miere și untdelemn; și ai fost foarte frumoasă și ai prosperat și ai ajuns o împărăție.
14 And your name went forth among the nations for your beauty: because it was perfected with elegance, [and] in the comeliness which I put upon you, says the Lord.
Și faima ta a mers printre păgâni pentru frumusețea ta, pentru că aceasta [era] desăvârșită prin frumusețea mea, pe care am pus-o peste tine, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU.
15 You did trust in your beauty, and did go a-whoring because of your renown, and did pour out your fornication on every passer by.
Dar tu te-ai încrezut în frumusețea ta și ai făcut pe curva din cauza faimei tale, și ți-ai turnat curviile la fiecare ce trecea; a lui era [frumusețea ta].
16 And you did take of your garments, and made to yourself idols of needlework, and did go a-whoring after them; therefore you shall never come in, nor shall [the like] take place.
Și ai luat din hainele tale și ți-ai împodobit înălțimile tale cu felurite culori și ai făcut pe curva pe ele, [astfel de lucruri] nu se vor [mai] întâmpla, nici nu va mai fi [astfel].
17 And you took your fair ornaments of my gold and of my silver, of what I gave you, and you made to yourself male images, and you did commit whoredom with them.
Ai luat de asemenea bijuteriile tale frumoase din aurul meu și din argintul meu, pe care ți le dădusem și ți-ai făcut chipuri de bărbați și ai curvit cu ele,
18 And you did take your variegated apparel and did clothe them, and you did set before them mine oil and mine incense.
Și ai luat hainele tale brodate și le-ai acoperit; și ai pus untdelemnul meu și tămâia mea înaintea lor.
19 And [you took] my bread which I gave you, ([yes] I fed you with fine flour and oil and honey) and did set them before them for a sweet smelling savor: yes, it was so, says the Lord.
Mâncarea mea de asemenea, pe care ți-am dat-o, floarea făinii și untdelemn și miere, [cu care] te-am hrănit, și pe ele le-ai pus înaintea lor ca aromă dulce; și [astfel] a fost, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU.
20 And you took your sons and your daughters, whom you bore, and did sacrifice [these] to them to be destroyed. You did go a-whoring as [if that were] little,
Mai mult, ai luat pe fiii tăi și pe fiicele tale, pe care mi i-ai născut și pe aceștia i-ai sacrificat lor pentru a fi mâncați. [Este acesta] între curviile tale un lucru mic,
21 and did kill your children, and gave them up in offering them to them for an expiation.
De ai ucis și pe copiii mei și i-ai dat ca să îi treci [prin foc] pentru ele?
22 This is beyond all your fornication, and you did not remember your infancy, when you were naked and bare, [and] did live [though] defiled in your blood.
Și în toate urâciunile tale și curviile tale nu ți-ai amintit de zilele tinereții tale, când erai goală și fără haine [și] erai murdărită în sângele tău.
23 And it came to pass after all your wickedness, says the Lord,
Și s-a întâmplat după toată stricăciunea ta (vai, vai ție! spune Domnul DUMNEZEU);
24 that you did build yourself a house of fornication, and did make yourself a public place in every street;
[Că] ți-ai zidit de asemenea un loc de cinste și ți-ai făcut o înălțime în fiecare stradă.
25 and on the head of every way you did set up your fornications, and did defile your beauty, and did open your feet to every passer by, and did multiply your fornication.
Ți-ai zidit înălțimea ta la capul fiecărei căi și ți-ai făcut frumusețea să fie detestată și ți-ai desfăcut picioarele la fiecare ce trecea și ți-ai înmulțit curviile.
26 And you did go a-whoring after the children of Egypt your neighbors, great of flesh; and did go a-whoring, often to provoke me to anger.
De asemenea ai curvit cu egiptenii vecinii tăi, mari la carne; și ți-ai înmulțit curviile pentru a mă provoca la mânie.
27 And if I stretch out my hand against you, then will I abolish your statutes, and deliver [you] up to the wills of them that hate you, [even to] the daughters of the Philistines that turned you aside from the way wherein you sinned.
Iată, de aceea mi-am întins mâna asupra ta și ți-am micșorat [hrana] rânduită și te-am dat în voia celor care te urăsc, fiicelor filistenilor, care sunt rușinate de calea ta desfrânată.
28 And you did go a-whoring to the daughters of Assur, and not even thus was you satisfied; yes, you did go a-whoring, and was not satisfied.
Ai făcut de asemenea pe curva cu asirienii, pentru că erai nesățioasă; da, ai făcut pe curva cu ei și totuși nu ai putut fi satisfăcută.
29 And you did multiply your covenants with the land of the Chaldeans; and not even with these was you satisfied.
Mai mult, ți-ai înmulțit curvia în țara lui Canaan până în Caldeea; și totuși nu ai fost satisfăcută cu aceasta.
30 Why should I make a covenant with your daughter, says the Lord, while you do all these things, the works of a harlot? and you have gone a-whoring in a threefold degree with your daughters.
Cât de slabă este inima ta, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU, văzând că faci toate acestea, lucrarea unei femei curve trufașă;
31 You have built a house of harlotry in every top of a way, and have set up your high place in every street; and you did become as a harlot gathering hires.
În aceea că îți zidești un loc de cinste la capul fiecărei căi și îți faci înălțime în fiecare stradă; și nu ai fost ca o curvă, în aceea că tu batjocorești plata;
32 An adulteress resembles you, taking rewards of her husband.
[Ci ca] o soție care comite adulter, [care] ia pe străini în locul soțului ei!
33 She has even given rewards to all that went a-whoring after her, and you have given rewards to all your lovers, yes, you did load them with rewards, that they should come to you from every side for your fornication.
Ei dau daruri tuturor curvelor; dar tu dai darurile tale tuturor iubiților tăi și îi plătești, ca ei să vină la tine din toate părțile pentru curvia ta.
34 And there has happened in you perverseness in your fornication beyond [other] women, and they have committed fornication with you, in that you give hires over and above, and hires were not given to you; and [thus] perverseness happened in you.
Și tu ești altfel în curviile tale față de [alte] femei, prin aceea că nimeni nu te urmează ca să curvească; ci în aceea că tu dai o răsplată și nicio răsplată nu îți este dată ție, de aceea tu ești altfel.
35 Therefore, harlot, hear the word of the Lord:
De aceea, curvă, ascultă cuvântul DOMNULUI;
36 Thus says the Lord, Because you have poured forth your money, therefore your shame shall be discovered in your harlotry with your lovers, and [with] regard to all the imaginations of your iniquities, and for the blood of your children which you have given to them.
Astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Pentru că murdăria ta a fost turnată afară și goliciunea ta descoperită prin curviile tale cu iubiții tăi și cu toți idolii urâciunilor tale și prin sângele copiilor tăi, pe care i-ai dat lor;
37 Therefore, behold, I [will] gather all your lovers with whom you have consorted, and all whom you have loved, with all whom you did hate; and I will gather them against you round about, and will expose your wickedness to them, and they shall see all your shame.
Iată, de aceea voi aduna pe toți iubiții tăi cu care ai avut plăcere și pe toți [cei] care i-ai iubit, cu toți [cei] pe care i-ai urât; îi voi aduna de jur împrejur împotriva ta și îți voi descoperi goliciunea înaintea lor, încât ei să vadă toată goliciunea ta.
38 And I will be avenged on you with the vengeance of an adulteress, and I will bring upon you blood of fury and jealousy.
Și te voi judeca, cum sunt judecate femeile care comit adulter și care varsă sânge; și îți voi da sânge în furie și gelozie.
39 And I will deliver you into their hands, and they shall break down your house of harlotry, and destroy your high place; and they shall strip you of your garments, and shall take your proud ornaments, and leave you naked and bare.
Și te voi da de asemenea în mâna lor și ei îți vor dărâma locul tău de cinste și îți vor sfărâma înălțimile; te vor dezbrăca de asemenea de hainele tale și îți vor lua bijuteriile tale frumoase și te vor lăsa goală și fără haine.
40 And they shall bring multitudes upon you, and they shall stone you with stones, and pierce you with their swords.
Ei vor aduce de asemenea o ceată împotriva ta și te vor ucide cu pietre și te vor străpunge cu săbiile lor.
41 And they shall burn your houses with fire, and shall execute vengeance on you in the sight of many women: and I will turn you back from harlotry, and I will no more give [you] rewards.
Și îți vor arde casele cu foc și vor face judecăți asupra ta înaintea ochilor multor femei; și te voi face să încetezi a mai face pe curva și de asemenea nu vei mai da vreo plată.
42 So will I slacken my fury against you, and my jealousy shall be removed from you, and I will rest, and be no more careful [for you].
Astfel voi face ca furia mea împotriva ta să se odihnească și gelozia mea se va depărta de la tine și voi fi liniștit și nu mă voi mai mânia.
43 Because you did not remember your infancy, and you did grieve me in all these things; therefore, behold, I have recompensed your ways upon your head, says the Lord: for thus have you wrought ungodliness above all your [other] iniquities.
Pentru că nu ți-ai amintit de zilele tinereții tale, ci m-ai provocat în toate acestea; iată, de aceea și eu îți voi întoarce calea ta asupra capului [tău], spune Domnul DUMNEZEU; și nu vei [mai] face această desfrânare deasupra tuturor urâciunilor tale.
44 These are all the things they have spoken against you in a proverb, saying,
Iată, oricine folosește proverbe va folosi [acest] proverb împotriva ta, spunând: [Precum este] mama, [astfel este] fiica ei.
45 As is the mother, so is your mother's daughter: you are she that has rejected her husband and her children; and the sisters of your sisters have rejected their husbands and their children: your mother was a Chettite, and [your] father an Amorite.
Tu [ești] fiica mamei tale, care detestă pe soțul ei și pe copiii ei; și [ești] sora surorilor tale, care au detestat pe soții lor și pe copiii lor; mama voastră [a fost] hitită și tatăl vostru amorit.
46 Your elder sister who dwells on your left hand is Samaria, she and her daughters: and your younger sister, that dwells on the right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.
Și sora ta mai mare [este] Samaria, ea și fiicele ei care locuiesc la stânga ta; și sora ta mai tânără care locuiește la dreapta ta, [este] Sodoma și fiicele ei.
47 Yet notwithstanding you have not walked in their ways, neither have you done according to their iniquities within a little, but you have exceeded them in all your ways.
Totuși tu nu ai umblat după căile lor, nici nu ai lucrat după urâciunile lor; ci, ca și [cum acesta ar fi fost] un [lucru] foarte mic, tu ai fost mai coruptă decât ele în toate căile tale.
48 [As] I live, says the Lord, this Sodom and her daughters have not done as you and your daughters have done.
[Precum] eu trăiesc, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU, sora ta Sodoma nu a făcut, nici ea nici fiicele ei, precum ai făcut tu și fiicele tale.
49 Moreover this was the sin of your sister Sodom, pride: she and her daughters lived in pleasure, in fullness of bread [and] in abundance: this belonged to her and her daughters, and they helped not the hand of the poor and needy.
Iată, aceasta a fost nelegiuirea surorii tale Sodoma: mândrie, plinătate de pâine și abundență de lenevie erau în ea și în fiicele ei; și nu a întărit mâna celui sărac și nevoiaș.
50 And they boasted, and wrought iniquities before me: so I cut them off as I saw [fit].
Și ele au fost trufașe și au lucrat urâciune înaintea mea; de aceea le-am îndepărtat precum mi s-a părut [bine].
51 Also Samaria has not sinned according to half of your sins; but you have multiplied your iniquities beyond them, and you have justified your sisters in all your iniquities which you have committed.
Nici Samaria nu a făcut [nici] jumătate din păcatele tale, dar tu ți-ai înmulțit urâciunile tale mai mult decât ele și ai declarat drepte pe surorile tale în toate urâciunile tale pe care le-ai făcut.
52 You therefore bear your punishment, for that you have corrupted your sisters by your sins which you have committed beyond them; and you have made them [appear] more righteous than yourself: you therefore be ashamed, and bear your dishonor, in that you have justified your sisters.
Tu de asemenea, care ai judecat pe surorile tale, poartă-ți propria ta rușine pentru păcatele tale pe care le-ai făcut mai urâcios decât ele, ele sunt mai drepte decât tine; da, fii de asemenea încurcată și poartă-ți rușinea, în aceea că tu le-ai declarat drepte pe surorile tale.
53 And I will turn their captivity, [even] the captivity of Sodom and her daughters; and I will turn the captivity of Samaria and her daughters; and I will turn your captivity in the midst of them:
Când voi întoarce din nou pe captivii lor, captivii Sodomei și a fiicelor ei și captivii Samariei și a fiicelor ei, atunci [voi întoarce din nou] pe captivii captivității tale în mijlocul lor;
54 that you may bear your punishment, and be dishonored for all that you have done in provoking me to anger.
Ca să îți porți propria ta rușine și să fii încurcată în tot ce ai făcut, în aceea că ești o mângâiere pentru ele.
55 And your sister Sodom and her daughters shall be restored as they were at the beginning, and you and your daughters shall be restored as you were at the beginning.
Când surorile tale, Sodoma și fiicele ei, se vor întoarce la starea lor dinainte și Samaria și fiicele ei se vor întoarce la starea lor dinainte, atunci [și] tu și fiicele tale vă veți întoarce la starea voastră dinainte.
56 And surely your sister Sodom was not mentioned by your mouth in the days of your pride:
Pentru că sora ta Sodoma nu a fost menționată de gura ta în ziua mândriei tale,
57 before your wickedness was discovered, even now you are the reproach of the daughters of Syria, and of all that are round about her, [even] of the daughters of the Philistines that compass you round about.
Înainte ca stricăciunea ta să se descopere, ca pe timpul ocărârii [tale] a fiicelor Siriei și a tuturor [celor ce sunt] de jur împrejurul ei, fiicele filistenilor, care te disprețuiesc de jur împrejur.
58 [As for] your ungodliness and your iniquities, you have borne them, says the Lord.
Tu ți-ai purtat desfrânarea și urâciunile tale, spune DOMNUL.
59 Thus says the Lord; I will even do to you as you have done, as you have dealt shamefully in these things to transgress my covenant.
Pentru că astfel spune Domnul DUMNEZEU: Mă voi purta cu tine precum te-ai purtat [cu alții], tu care ai disprețuit jurământul călcând legământul.
60 And I will remember my covenant [made] with you in the days of your infancy, and I will establish to you an everlasting covenant.
Totuși eu îmi voi aminti de legământul meu cu tine în zilele tinereții tale și voi întemeia pentru tine un legământ veșnic.
61 Then you shall remember your way, and shall be utterly dishonored when you receive your elder sisters with your younger ones: and I will give them to you for building up, but not by your covenant.
Atunci îți vei aminti de căile tale și vei fi rușinată, când le vei primi pe surorile tale, pe cele mai mari și pe cele mai tinere; și ți le voi da ca fiice, dar nu prin legământul tău.
62 And I will establish my covenant with you; and you shall know that I am the Lord:
Și eu voi întemeia legământul meu cu tine și vei ști că eu [sunt] DOMNUL;
63 that you may remember, and be ashamed, and may no more be able to open your mouth for your shame, when I am reconciled to you for all that you have done, says the Lord.
Ca să îți amintești și să fii încurcată și niciodată să nu îți mai deschizi gura din cauza rușinii tale, după ce eu mă voi fi potolit față de tine pentru tot ce ai făcut, spune Domnul DUMNEZEU.
