Exodus 36
1 And Beseleel wrought, and Eliab and every one wise in understanding, to whom was given wisdom and knowledge, to understand to do all the works according to the holy offices, according to all things which the Lord appointed.
“Bê-sa-lê, Ô-hô-li-áp cùng với những người khác được Chúa Hằng Hữu phú cho tài năng và sự thông minh, để thực hiện công tác xây cất Đền Tạm, và chế tạo các dụng cụ như Chúa Hằng Hữu đã phán dạy.”
2 And Moses called Beseleel and Eliab, and all that had wisdom, to whom God gave knowledge in [their] heart, and all who were freely willing to come forward to the works, to perform them.
Vậy, Môi-se gọi Bê-sa-lê, Ô-hô-li-áp, và tất cả nghệ nhân khác đến làm việc.
3 And they received from Moses all the offerings, which the children of Israel brought for all the works of the sanctuary to do them; and they continued to receive the gifts brought, from those who brought them in the morning.
Môi-se trao cho họ các vật liệu dân chúng hiến dâng như của lễ thánh để hoàn tất Đền Tạm. Nhưng dân chúng vẫn cứ tiếp tục đem dâng thêm vào mỗi buổi sáng.
4 And there came all the wise men who wrought the works of the sanctuary, each according to his own work, which they wrought.
Cuối cùng các người thợ phải ngưng công việc xây cất.
5 And one said to Moses, The people bring an abundance [too great] in proportion to all the works which the Lord has appointed [them] to do.
Họ đến gặp Môi-se và nói: “Các vật liệu dân chúng đem dâng để thực hiện công tác Chúa Hằng Hữu ấn định hiện dư nhiều quá.”
6 And Moses commanded, and proclaimed in the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman any longer labor for the offerings of the sanctuary; and the people were restrained from bringing any more.
Vì vậy, Môi-se ra lệnh cho người đi báo cho toàn dân hay rằng: “Mọi người nam cũng như nữ, không ai được đem dâng vật liệu làm Đền Tạm nữa. Chúng ta đã có đủ vật liệu!” Đến lúc bị cấm như vậy, người ta mới thôi.
7 And they had materials sufficient for making the furniture, and they left some besides.
Dân chúng hiến dâng vật liệu nhiều hơn sự cần dùng để hoàn thành toàn bộ công việc.
8 And every wise one among those that wrought made the robes of the holy places, which belong to Aaron the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Một số thợ khéo trong nhóm xây dựng Đền Tạm bắt đầu dệt mười bức màn bằng chỉ gai mịn, dùng chỉ xanh, tím, và đỏ, thêu hình chê-ru-bim vô cùng tinh vi.
9 And he made the ephod of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
Mười bức màn đều bằng nhau, dài 12,9 mét, rộng 1,8 mét.
10 And the plates were divided, the threads of gold, so as to interweave with the blue and purple, and with the spun scarlet, and the fine linen twined, they made it a woven work;
Họ nối từng năm bức màn lại với nhau thành hai tấm lớn.
11 shoulder-pieces joined from both sides, a work woven by mutual twisting of the parts into one another.
Họ dùng chỉ xanh kết các vòng dọc theo đường biên của hai tấm lớn,
12 They made it of the same material according to the making of it, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined, as the Lord commanded Moses;
năm mươi vòng mỗi bên, đối diện nhau.
13 and they made the two emerald stones clasped together and set in gold, graven and cut after the cutting of a seal with the names of the children of Israel;
Người ta làm năm mươi cái móc bằng vàng, cài vào các vòng chỉ, như vậy hai tấm lớn được kết lại thành nóc Đền Tạm.
14 and he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, [as] stones of memorial of the children of Israel, as the Lord appointed Moses.
Họ cũng dệt mười một bức màn bằng lông dê để phủ lên trên nóc Đền Tạm.
15 And they made the oracle, a work woven with embroidery, according to the work of the ephod, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
Mười một bức màn này đều bằng nhau, dài 13,8 mét, rộng 1,8 mét.
16 They made the oracle square [and] double, the length of a span, and the breadth of a span, —double.
Năm bức màn lông dê nối lại thành một tấm lớn; còn lại sáu bức kia nối thành một tấm lớn thứ hai.
17 And there was interwoven with it a woven work of four rows of stones, a series of stones, the first row, a sardius and topaz and emerald;
Người ta làm năm mươi cái vòng dọc theo đường biên của mỗi tấm lớn.
18 and the second row, a carbuncle and sapphire and jasper;
Họ dùng năm mươi cái móc đồng nối hai tấm lớn lại với nhau.
19 and the third row, a ligure and agate and amethyst;
Lớp trên cùng của nóc đền làm bằng da chiên nhuộm đỏ và da dê.
20 and the fourth row a chrysolite and beryl and onyx set round about with gold, and fastened with gold.
Gỗ keo được dùng để làm vách Đền Tạm, dựng thẳng đứng.
21 And the stones were twelve according to the names of the children of Israel, graven according to their names like seals, each according to his own name for the twelve tribes.
Mỗi tấm ván dài 4,6 mét, rộng 0,69 mét,
22 And they made on the oracle turned wreaths, wreathen work, of pure gold,
có hai cái mộng để ghép vào các lỗ mộng.
23 and they made two golden circlets and two golden rings.
Vách phía nam gồm hai mươi tấm ván;
24 And they put the two golden rings on both the [upper] corners of the oracle;
dưới mỗi tấm có hai lỗ mộng bằng bạc, cộng bốn mươi lỗ mộng.
25 and they put the golden wreaths on the rings on both sides of the oracle, and the two wreaths into the two couplings.
Vách phía bắc Đền Tạm cũng gồm hai mươi tấm ván,
26 And they put them on the two circlets, and they put them on the shoulders of the ephod opposite [each other] in front.
dưới mỗi tấm có hai lỗ mộng bạc, cộng bốn mươi lỗ mộng.
27 And they made two golden rings, and put them on the two projections on the top of the oracle, and on the top of the hinder part of the ephod within.
Vách phía tây tức là phía sau Đền Tạm gồm sáu tấm ván,
28 And they made two golden rings, and put them on both the shoulders of the ephod under it, in front by the coupling above the connexion of the ephod.
thêm vào hai tấm nữa ở hai góc phía sau.
29 And he fastened the oracle by the rings that were on it to the rings of the ephod, which were fastened with [a string] of blue, joined together with the woven work of the ephod; that the oracle should not be loosed from the ephod, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Các tấm ván này sẽ được ghép vào nhau bằng móc cài cả dưới lẫn trên.
30 And they made the tunic under the ephod, woven work, all of blue.
Vậy, vách phía tây có tám tấm ván và mười sáu lỗ mộng bằng bạc, hai lỗ mỗi tấm.
31 And the opening of the tunic in the midst woven closely together, the opening having a fringe round about, that it might not be tore.
Họ cũng làm thanh ngang cho vách Đền Tạm cũng bằng gỗ keo,
32 And they made on the border of the tunic below pomegranates as of a flowering pomegranate tree, of blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
mỗi phía năm thanh, vách phía tây cũng có năm thanh.
33 And they made golden bells, and put the bells on the border of the tunic round about between the pomegranates:
Thanh chính giữa nằm giữa vách, chạy dài từ đầu này chí đầu kia của đền.
34 a golden bell and a pomegranate on the border of the tunic round about, for the ministration, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Người ta bọc vàng các tấm ván vách và các thanh ngang, làm các vòng vàng để xỏ thanh ngang.
35 And they made vestments of fine linen, a woven work, for Aaron and his sons,
Người ta may một bức màn bằng vải gai mịn, rồi dùng chỉ xanh, tím, và đỏ thêu hình chê-ru-bim vô cùng tinh vi.
36 and the tires of fine linen, and the mitre of fine linen, and the drawers of fine linen twined;
Màn được móc vào bốn móc vàng của bốn trụ gỗ keo bọc vàng, trụ được dựng trên lỗ trụ bằng bạc.
37 and their girdles of fine linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet spun, the work of an embroiderer, according as the Lord commanded Moses.
Người ta cũng làm một bức màn che cửa đền bằng vải gai mịn, thêu chỉ xanh, tím, và đỏ rất tinh vi.
38 And they made the golden plate, a dedicated thing of the sanctuary, of pure gold;
Màn này được treo bằng năm móc vàng trên năm trụ cây keo bọc vàng. Các lỗ trụ này đều bằng đồng.
39 and he wrote upon it graven letters [as] of a seal, Holiness to the Lord.
40 And they put it on the border of blue, so that it should be on the mitre above, as the Lord commanded Moses.
