< Exodus 36 >
1 And Beseleel wrought, and Eliab and every one wise in understanding, to whom was given wisdom and knowledge, to understand to do all the works according to the holy offices, according to all things which the Lord appointed.
“Nĩ ũndũ ũcio Bezaleli, na Oholiabu, na mũndũ o wothe warĩ mũũgĩ na wĩra, arĩa Jehova aheete ũũgĩ na ũhoti wa kũmenya kũruta wĩra ũcio wothe wa gwaka handũ-harĩa-haamũre, makĩruta wĩra ũcio o ta ũrĩa Mwathani aathanĩte ũrutwo.”
2 And Moses called Beseleel and Eliab, and all that had wisdom, to whom God gave knowledge in [their] heart, and all who were freely willing to come forward to the works, to perform them.
Ningĩ Musa agĩĩta Bezaleli na Oholiabu na mũndũ o wothe warĩ mũũgĩ, ũrĩa Jehova aheete ũhoti, na ũrĩa warĩ na wendo wa gũũka kũruta wĩra ũcio.
3 And they received from Moses all the offerings, which the children of Israel brought for all the works of the sanctuary to do them; and they continued to receive the gifts brought, from those who brought them in the morning.
Nao makĩamũkĩra kuuma kũrĩ Musa maruta mothe marĩa andũ a Isiraeli maarehete ma kũruta wĩra wa gwaka handũ-harĩa-haamũre. Nao andũ magĩthiĩ o na mbere kũrehe maruta ma kwĩyendera rũciinĩ o rũciinĩ.
4 And there came all the wise men who wrought the works of the sanctuary, each according to his own work, which they wrought.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio mabundi mothe marĩa maarĩ na ũũgĩ, arĩa maarutaga wĩra wothe wa gwaka handũ-harĩa-haamũre, makĩamba gũtiga wĩra wao,
5 And one said to Moses, The people bring an abundance [too great] in proportion to all the works which the Lord has appointed [them] to do.
na makĩĩra Musa atĩrĩ, “Andũ nĩmararehe indo makĩria ya iria ibatarainie wĩra-inĩ ũrĩa Jehova aathanĩte ũrutwo.”
6 And Moses commanded, and proclaimed in the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman any longer labor for the offerings of the sanctuary; and the people were restrained from bringing any more.
Nake Musa akĩruta watho, nao magĩtwara ũhoro ũcio kambĩ-inĩ guothe: “Gũtirĩ mũndũ mũrũme kana mũndũ-wa-nja ũgũcooka kũrehe iruta rĩngĩ nĩ ũndũ wa handũ-harĩa-haamũre.” Nĩ ũndũ ũcio andũ makĩrigĩrĩrio gũcooka kũrehe indo ingĩ,
7 And they had materials sufficient for making the furniture, and they left some besides.
tondũ indo iria maarĩ nacio ciarĩ nyingĩ makĩria ma iria ciabatarainie kũruta wĩra ũcio wothe.
8 And every wise one among those that wrought made the robes of the holy places, which belong to Aaron the priest, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Andũ othe arĩa maarĩ oogĩ thĩinĩ wa aruti a wĩra magĩthondeka hema nyamũre na itambaya ikũmi cia gũcuurio itumĩtwo na gatani yogothetwo wega na ndigi cia rangi wa bururu, na cia rangi wa ndathi, na cia rangi mũtune ta gakarakũ, na ikĩgemio na makerubi nĩ mũtumi mũũgĩ wa wĩra ũcio.
9 And he made the ephod of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
Itambaya ciothe cia gũcuurio nĩciaiganaine, ciarĩ cia mĩkono mĩrongo ĩĩrĩ na ĩnana kũraiha, na mĩkono ĩna kwarama.
10 And the plates were divided, the threads of gold, so as to interweave with the blue and purple, and with the spun scarlet, and the fine linen twined, they made it a woven work;
Makĩnyiitithania itambaya ithano hamwe, na magĩĩka o ro ũguo na icio ingĩ ithano.
11 shoulder-pieces joined from both sides, a work woven by mutual twisting of the parts into one another.
Ningĩ magĩkundĩka ciana cia gĩtambaya kĩa rangi wa bururu mũthia-inĩ wa gĩtambaya gĩa gũcuurio kĩrĩa kĩrĩ mũico-inĩ wa mwena ũmwe, na magĩĩka o ro ũguo harĩ gĩtambaya gĩa gũcuurio kĩa mũico kĩa mwena ũcio ũngĩ.
12 They made it of the same material according to the making of it, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined, as the Lord commanded Moses;
Magĩcooka magĩkundĩka ciana ingĩ mĩrongo ĩtano gĩtambaya-inĩ kĩmwe gĩa gũcuurio kĩa mwena ũmwe, na ingĩ mĩrongo ĩtano gĩtambaya-inĩ gĩa gũcuurio kĩa mũico kĩa mwena ũcio ũngĩ, o kĩana kĩringaine na kĩrĩa kĩngĩ.
13 and they made the two emerald stones clasped together and set in gold, graven and cut after the cutting of a seal with the names of the children of Israel;
Ningĩ magĩthondeka ngathĩka mĩrongo ĩtano cia thahabu na magĩcihũthĩra kũohithania itambaya icio cia gũcuurio cia mĩena yeerĩ, nĩ ũndũ ũcio hema ĩyo nyamũre ĩgĩtuĩka kĩndũ kĩmwe.
14 and he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, [as] stones of memorial of the children of Israel, as the Lord appointed Moses.
Ningĩ magĩtuma itambaya cia gũcuurio ikũmi na kĩmwe cia guoya wa mbũri igĩtuĩka cia kũhumbĩra hema ĩrĩa nyamũre.
15 And they made the oracle, a work woven with embroidery, according to the work of the ephod, of gold, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
Itambaya icio ciothe cia gũcuurio ikũmi na kĩmwe nĩciaiganaine; ciarĩ cia mĩkono mĩrongo ĩtatũ kũraiha, na mĩkono ĩna kwarama.
16 They made the oracle square [and] double, the length of a span, and the breadth of a span, —double.
Magĩtumithania itambaya ithano cia gũcuurio igĩtuĩka kĩndũ kĩmwe, na cio icio ingĩ ithathatũ igĩtumithanio hamwe.
17 And there was interwoven with it a woven work of four rows of stones, a series of stones, the first row, a sardius and topaz and emerald;
Ningĩ magĩkundĩka ciana mĩrongo ĩtano mũthia-inĩ wa gĩtambaya gĩa gũcuurio kĩa mũico kĩa mwena ũmwe, na magĩĩka o ũguo mũthia-inĩ wa gĩtambaya gĩa gũcuurio kĩa mũico kĩa mwena ũrĩa ũngĩ.
18 and the second row, a carbuncle and sapphire and jasper;
Ningĩ magĩthondeka ngathĩka mĩrongo ĩtano cia gĩcango cia kuohania hema ĩtuĩke kĩndũ kĩmwe.
19 and the third row, a ligure and agate and amethyst;
Magĩcooka magĩthondekera hema kĩhumbĩri kĩa njũa cia ndũrũme itoboketio rangi-inĩ mũtune igatunĩha, na igũrũ wakĩo hakĩhumbĩrwo na njũa cia pomboo.
20 and the fourth row a chrysolite and beryl and onyx set round about with gold, and fastened with gold.
Ningĩ magĩthondeka buremu cia kũmĩrũgamia cia mbaũ cia mũtĩ wa mũgaa nĩ ũndũ wa hema ĩyo nyamũre.
21 And the stones were twelve according to the names of the children of Israel, graven according to their names like seals, each according to his own name for the twelve tribes.
O buremu yarĩ ya mĩkono ikũmi kũraiha, na mũkono ũmwe na nuthu kwarama,
22 And they made on the oracle turned wreaths, wreathen work, of pure gold,
natuo tũhocio tũgĩcomoka tũigananĩirie. Maathondekire buremu ciothe cia hema ĩyo nyamũre na njĩra ĩyo.
23 and they made two golden circlets and two golden rings.
Ningĩ magĩthondeka buremu mĩrongo ĩĩrĩ cia mwena wa gũthini wa hema ĩyo nyamũre,
24 And they put the two golden rings on both the [upper] corners of the oracle;
na magĩthondeka itina mĩrongo ĩna cia betha cia gwĩkĩrwo rungu rwacio; o itina igĩrĩ ikanyiitĩrĩra buremu ĩmwe, rungu rwa kahocio kamwe.
25 and they put the golden wreaths on the rings on both sides of the oracle, and the two wreaths into the two couplings.
Cia mwena ũcio ũngĩ, mwena wa gathigathini wa hema ĩyo nyamũre, magĩthondeka buremu mĩrongo ĩĩrĩ
26 And they put them on the two circlets, and they put them on the shoulders of the ephod opposite [each other] in front.
na itina mĩrongo ĩna cia betha, o igĩrĩ igaikarĩrwo nĩ buremu ĩmwe.
27 And they made two golden rings, and put them on the two projections on the top of the oracle, and on the top of the hinder part of the ephod within.
Ningĩ magĩthondeka buremu ithathatũ cia mwena wa na thuutha, nĩguo mwena wa mũthia wa ithũĩro wa hema ĩyo nyamũre,
28 And they made two golden rings, and put them on both the shoulders of the ephod under it, in front by the coupling above the connexion of the ephod.
na buremu igĩrĩ igĩthondekwo nĩ ũndũ wa tũkoine-inĩ twa hema ĩyo nyamũre cia mwena wa na thuutha.
29 And he fastened the oracle by the rings that were on it to the rings of the ephod, which were fastened with [a string] of blue, joined together with the woven work of the ephod; that the oracle should not be loosed from the ephod, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Koine-inĩ ici cierĩ, buremu ciarĩ igĩrĩ igĩrĩ, kuuma thĩ nginya igũrũ, ikoohanio na mũrĩnga ũmwe; nacio cierĩ igakorwo ihaanaine.
30 And they made the tunic under the ephod, woven work, all of blue.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio haarĩ na buremu inyanya na itina ikũmi na ithathatũ cia betha; o igĩrĩ igaikarĩrwo nĩ buremu ĩmwe.
31 And the opening of the tunic in the midst woven closely together, the opening having a fringe round about, that it might not be tore.
Magĩcooka magĩthondeka mĩgamba ya mbaũ cia mũgaa: ĩtano yayo nĩ ũndũ wa buremu cia mwena ũmwe wa hema ĩyo nyamũre,
32 And they made on the border of the tunic below pomegranates as of a flowering pomegranate tree, of blue, and purple, and spun scarlet, and fine linen twined.
na ĩtano nĩ ũndũ wa buremu cia mwena ũcio ũngĩ, na ĩtano nĩ ũndũ wa buremu cia mwena wa ithũĩro, mũthia-inĩ wa na thuutha wa hema ĩyo nyamũre.
33 And they made golden bells, and put the bells on the border of the tunic round about between the pomegranates:
Maathondekire mũgamba wa gatagatĩ uumĩte mũthia ũmwe nginya ũrĩa ũngĩ hau gatagatĩ ga buremu icio.
34 a golden bell and a pomegranate on the border of the tunic round about, for the ministration, as the Lord commanded Moses.
Nĩmagemirie buremu icio na thahabu, na magĩthondeka mĩrĩnga ya thahabu ya kũnyiitĩrĩra mĩgamba ĩyo. Magĩcooka makĩgemia mĩgamba ĩyo na thahabu.
35 And they made vestments of fine linen, a woven work, for Aaron and his sons,
Nĩmatumire gĩtambaya gĩa gũcuurio kĩa ndigi cia rangi wa bururu, na cia rangi wa ndathi, na cia rangi mũtune ta gakarakũ, na gatani ĩrĩa njogothe wega, na gĩkĩgemio na makerubi nĩ mũbundi mũũgĩ.
36 and the tires of fine linen, and the mitre of fine linen, and the drawers of fine linen twined;
Makĩmĩthondekera itugĩ inya cia mbaũ cia mĩgaa na magĩcigemia na thahabu. Magĩcooka magĩthondeka tũcuurio twa thahabu, na magĩtwekia itina inya ciacio cia betha.
37 and their girdles of fine linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet spun, the work of an embroiderer, according as the Lord commanded Moses.
Itoonyero-inĩ rĩa hema makĩrĩthondekera gĩtambaya gĩa gũcuurio kĩa ndigi cia rangi wa bururu, na cia rangi wa ndathi, na cia rangi mũtune ta gakarakũ, na gatani ĩrĩa njogothe wega, nakĩo kĩagemetio nĩ mũgemia mũũgĩ;
38 And they made the golden plate, a dedicated thing of the sanctuary, of pure gold;
na magĩthondeka itugĩ ithano irĩ na tũcuurio twacio. Makĩgemia itugĩ icio na igũrũ na mĩcibi yacio na thahabu, na magĩcithondekera itina ithano cia gĩcango.
39 and he wrote upon it graven letters [as] of a seal, Holiness to the Lord.
40 And they put it on the border of blue, so that it should be on the mitre above, as the Lord commanded Moses.
