Exodus 34
1 And the Lord said to Moses, Hew for yourself two tables of stone, as also the first were, and come up to me to the mountain; and I will write upon the tables the words, which were on the first tables, which you broke.
I PAN powiedział do Mojżesza: Wyciosaj sobie dwie kamienne tablice, podobne do pierwszych, a napiszę na tych tablicach słowa, które były na pierwszych tablicach, które stłukłeś.
2 And be ready by the morning, and you shall go up to the mount Sina, and shall stand there for me on the top of the mountain.
A bądź gotów [jutro] rano i wstąp rankiem na górę Synaj; staniesz przede mną na szczycie tej góry.
3 And let no one go up with you, nor be seen in all the mountain; and let not the sheep and oxen feed near that mountain.
Ale niech nikt nie wchodzi z tobą, niech nikt też nie będzie widziany na całej górze; również owce i woły niech się nie pasą naprzeciwko tej góry.
4 And [Moses] hewed two tables of stone, as also the first were; and Moses having arisen early, went up to the mount Sina, as the Lord appointed him; and Moses took the two tables of stone.
Mojżesz wyciosał więc dwie kamienne tablice podobne do pierwszych, a gdy wstał rano, wstąpił na górę Synaj, jak PAN mu rozkazał, i wziął w ręce dwie kamienne tablice.
5 And the Lord descended in a cloud, and stood near him there, and called by the name of the Lord.
I PAN zstąpił w obłoku, stanął tam z nim, i wypowiedział imię PANA.
6 And the Lord passed by before his face, and proclaimed, The Lord God, pitiful and merciful, longsuffering and very compassionate, and true,
Wtedy przechodził PAN przed nim i wołał: PAN, PAN, Bóg miłosierny i litościwy, nieskory do gniewu, a bogaty w miłosierdzie i prawdę;
7 and keeping justice and mercy for thousands, taking away iniquity, and unrighteousness, and sins; and he will not clear the guilty; bringing the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and to the children's children, to the third and fourth generation.
Zachowujący miłosierdzie nad tysiącami, przebaczający nieprawość, przestępstwo i grzech, lecz nieusprawiedliwiający winnego, nawiedzający nieprawość ojców na synach i na synach ich synów do trzeciego i czwartego pokolenia.
8 And Moses hasted, and bowed to the earth and worshipped;
Mojżesz więc spiesznie pochylił się do ziemi i oddał pokłon;
9 and said, If I have found grace before you, let my Lord go with us; for the people is stiff-necked: and you shall take away our sins and our iniquities, and we will be your.
I powiedział: Jeśli znalazłem teraz łaskę w twoich oczach, Panie, niech Pan idzie, proszę, pośród nas, bo ten lud jest twardego karku. Wybacz nasze nieprawości i nasz grzech, a weź nas za dziedzictwo.
10 And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, I establish a covenant for you in the presence of all your people; I will do glorious things, which have not been done in all the earth, or in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the works of the Lord, that they are wonderful, which I will do for you.
Odpowiedział: Oto ustanowię przymierze. Przed całym twoim ludem będę czynił cuda, jakie nie były dokonane na całej ziemi i w żadnym narodzie. I cały lud, wśród którego przebywasz, zobaczy dzieło PANA, gdyż straszne będzie to, co uczynię z tobą.
11 Do you take heed to all things whatever I command you: behold, I cast out before your face the Amorite and the Chananite and the Pherezite, and the Chettite, and Evite, and Gergesite and Jebusite:
Przestrzegaj tego, co dziś ci rozkazuję: Oto wypędzę sprzed twojego oblicza Amorytę, Kananejczyka, Chetytę, Peryzzytę, Chiwwitę i Jebusytę.
12 take heed to yourself, lest at any time you make a covenant with the dwellers on the land, into which you are entering, lest it be to you a stumbling block among you.
Strzeż się, abyś nie zawarł przymierza z obywatelami tej ziemi, do której wejdziesz, żeby to nie było sidłem pośród ciebie.
13 You shall destroy their altars, and break in pieces their pillars, and you shall cut down their groves, and the graven images of their gods you shall burn with fire.
Dlatego zburzycie ich ołtarze, połamiecie ich bożki i wyrąbiecie ich [święte] gaje.
14 For you shall not worship strange gods, for the Lord God, a jealous name, is a jealous God;
Nie będziesz oddawał pokłonu innemu bogu, bo PAN, którego imię [jest] Zazdrosny, jest Bogiem zazdrosnym;
15 lest at any time you make a covenant with the dwellers on the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and sacrifice to their gods, and they call you, and you should eat of their feasts,
Abyś nie zawierał przymierza z mieszkańcami tej ziemi, abyś – gdy oni popełniają nierząd ze swymi bogami i składają ofiary swym bogom – nie został zawołany, by jeść z ich ofiar;
16 and you should take of their daughters to your sons, and you should give of your daughters to their sons; and your daughters should go a whoring after their gods, and your sons should go a whoring after their gods.
I nie brał spośród ich córek [żony] dla swych synów, a [wtedy] cudzołożyłyby ich córki ze swymi bogami i doprowadziłyby twoich synów do nierządu ze swymi bogami.
17 And you shall not make to yourself molten gods.
Nie będziesz czynił sobie odlewanych bożków.
18 And you shall keep the feast of unleavened bread: seven days shall you eat unleavened bread, as I have charged you, at the season in the month of new [corn]; for in the month of new [corn] you came out from Egypt.
Będziesz zachowywał Święto Przaśników. Przez siedem dni będziesz jeść przaśniki, jak ci rozkazałem, w miesiącu Abib, gdyż w miesiącu Abib wyszedłeś z Egiptu.
19 The males [are] mine, everything that opens the womb; every firstborn of oxen, and [every] firstborn of sheep.
Wszystko, co otwiera łono, jest moje, a także każdy pierworodny samiec z twego dobytku, zarówno spośród owiec, jak i wołów;
20 And the firstborn of an ass you shall redeem with a sheep, and if you will not redeem it you shall pay a price: every firstborn of your sons shall you redeem: you shall not appear before me empty.
Ale pierworodne oślę odkupisz owcą, a jeśli go nie odkupisz, złamiesz mu kark. Odkupisz każdego pierworodnego z twych synów i nie pokażą się przede mną z pustymi [rękami].
21 Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest: [there shall be] rest in seed time and harvest.
Sześć dni będziesz pracować, a siódmego dnia odpoczniesz; odpoczniesz w czasie orania i w czasie żniwa.
22 And you shall keep to me the feast of weeks, the beginning of wheat harvest; and the feast of ingathering in the middle of the year.
Będziesz obchodził też Święto Tygodni, pierwociny żniwa pszenicy, i Święto Zbiorów na koniec roku.
23 Three times in the year shall every male of your appear before the Lord the God of Israel.
Trzy razy do roku wszyscy twoi mężczyźni pokażą się przed obliczem Pana BOGA, Boga Izraela.
24 For when I shall have cast out the nations before your face, and shall have enlarged your coasts, no one shall desire your land, whenever you may go up to appear before the Lord your God, three times in the year.
Bo wypędzę przed tobą narody i rozszerzę twoje granice; nikt nie będzie pożądał twojej ziemi, gdy trzy razy do roku pójdziesz, aby pokazać się przed obliczem PANA, twego Boga.
25 You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifices with leaven, neither shall the sacrifices of the feast of the passover remain till the morning.
Nie będziesz składał krwi mojej ofiary razem z zakwasem i nic z ofiary obchodu święta Paschy nie zostanie do rana.
26 The first fruits of your land shall you put into the house of the Lord your God: you shall not boil a lamb in his mother's milk.
Przyniesiesz do domu PANA, twego Boga, pierwociny plonów twej ziemi. Nie będziesz gotował koźlęcia w mleku jego matki.
27 And the Lord said to Moses, Write these words for yourself, for on these words I have established a covenant with you and with Israel.
Potem PAN powiedział do Mojżesza: Zapisz sobie te słowa, bo według tych słów ustanowiłem przymierze z tobą i Izraelem.
28 And Moses was there before the Lord forty days, and forty nights; he did not eat bread, and he did not drink water; and he wrote upon the tables these words of the covenant, the ten sayings.
I był tam z PANEM czterdzieści dni i czterdzieści nocy, nie jadł chleba i nie pił wody. I [PAN] napisał na tablicach słowa przymierza, dziesięć przykazań.
29 And when Moses went down from the mountain, [there were] the two tables in the hands of Moses, —as then he went down from the mountain, Moses knew not that the appearance of the skin of his face was glorified, when God spoke to him.
I gdy Mojżesz zstępował z góry Synaj – a [miał] Mojżesz w ręku dwie tablice świadectwa, gdy zstępował z góry – Mojżesz nie wiedział, że skóra jego twarzy lśniła, gdy PAN z nim rozmawiał.
30 And Aaron and all the elders of Israel saw Moses, and the appearance of the skin of his face was made glorious, and they feared to approach him.
Aaron i wszyscy synowie Izraela zobaczyli Mojżesza, a oto skóra jego twarzy lśniła, i bali się zbliżyć do niego.
31 And Moses called them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the synagogue turned towards him, and Moses spoke to them.
Ale Mojżesz zawołał ich i Aaron oraz wszyscy przywódcy zgromadzenia Izraela wrócili do niego. I Mojżesz rozmawiał z nimi.
32 And afterwards all the children of Israel came to him, and he commanded them all things, whatever the Lord had commanded him in the mount of Sina.
Potem podeszli też wszyscy synowie Izraela, a on przykazał im wszystko, o czym PAN z nim rozmawiał na górze Synaj.
33 And when he ceased speaking to them, he put a veil on his face.
A póki Mojżesz z nimi rozmawiał, miał na swojej twarzy zasłonę;
34 And whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak to him, he took off the veil till he went out, and he went forth and spoke to all the children of Israel whatever the Lord commanded him.
Ale gdy Mojżesz wchodził przed oblicze PANA, aby z nim rozmawiać, zdejmował zasłonę, póki nie wyszedł. Gdy zaś wyszedł, mówił do synów Izraela, co mu nakazano.
35 And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that it was glorified; and Moses put the veil over his face, till he went in to speak with him.
I synowie Izraela patrzyli na twarz Mojżesza, a skóra twarzy Mojżesza lśniła. I Mojżesz znowu kładł zasłonę na swoją twarz, póki nie wszedł, aby z nim rozmawiać.
