< Esther 10 >

1 And the king levied [a tax] upon [his] kingdom both by land and sea.
I whakaritea ano e Kingi Ahahueruha he takoha ma te whenua, ma nga motu o te moana.
2 And [as for] his strength and valour, and the wealth and glory of his kingdom, behold, they are written in the book of the Persians and Medes, for a memorial.
3 And Mardochaeus was viceroy to king Artaxerxes, and was a great man in the kingdom, and honoured by the Jews, and passed his life beloved of all his nation.
Ko Mororekai Hurai hoki te tuarua o Kingi Ahahueruha, he nui ano ia i roto i nga Hurai, he matenuitanga na te mano tini o ona tuakana, teina; he rapu tonu tana i te pai mo tona iwi, he korero ano i te ata noho ki ona uri katoa.
