< Ecclesiastes 6 >
1 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is abundant with man:
Namoni mabe mosusu na se ya moyi, mpe ezali kilo makasi mpo na bato:
2 a man to whom God shall give wealth, and substance, and honor, and he wants nothing for his soul of all things that he shall desire, yet God shall not give him power to eat of it, for a stranger shall devour it: this is vanity, and an evil infirmity.
ezali na bato oyo bazwi kowuta na Nzambe bozwi, biloko ebele mpe lokumu mpo ete bazanga eloko moko te oyo mitema na bango ekoki kozala na yango posa; kasi Ye moko Nzambe apimeli bango makoki ya kosepela na yango, pamba te moto mosusu nde azali kosepela na yango. Wana mpe ezali pamba, mpe ezali mabe oyo epesaka penza mawa.
3 If a man beget a hundred [children], and live many years, yes, however abundant the days of his years shall be, yet [if] his soul shall not be satisfied with good, and also he have no burial; I said, An untimely birth is better than he.
Soki moto aboti bana nkama moko mpe azwi ngolu ya kowumela mibu ebele na bomoi; bongo, atako awumeli mibu ebele na bomoi, asepeli te na bozwi na ye mpe azangi ata kunda, nalobi solo ete mwana oyo abotami ya kokufa azali malamu koleka ye;
4 For he came in vanity, and departs in darkness, and his name shall be covered in darkness.
pamba te, mwana oyo abotami ya kokufa, abotami pamba, azongi kati na molili, mpe bakokanisa ye lisusu te;
5 Moreover he has not seen the sun, nor known rest: there is [no more rest] to this one than another.
atako amoni moyi te to atikali koyeba ata eloko moko te, azali na kimia koleka mozwi.
6 Though he has lived to the return of a thousand years, yet he has seen no good: do not all go to one place?
Ata awumeli na bomoi mibu nkoto moko mbala mibale, akotikala komona esengo te. Boni, bato nyonso bakendaka kaka esika moko te?
7 All the labor of a man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite shall not be satisfied.
Pasi nyonso oyo moto amonaka ezali mpo ete akokisa baposa na ye, nzokande baposa yango esilaka kaka te.
8 For [what] advantage has the wise man over the fool, since [even] the poor knows how to walk in the direction of life?
Moto ya bwanya aleki moto oyo azangi mayele na nini? Litomba nini mobola azali na yango ata ayebi kotambola liboso ya bato mosusu?
9 The sight of the eyes is better than that which wanders in soul: this is also vanity, and waywardness of spirit.
Biloko oyo moto azali komona na miso ezali malamu koleka biloko oyo azali na yango na makanisi: yango mpe ezali pamba, ezali lokola moto azali kolanda mopepe.
10 If anything has been, its name has already been called: and it is known what man is; neither can he contend with him who is stronger than he.
Ekelamu nyonso oyo ezali esila koyebana na kombo na yango, mpe eyebani malamu soki moto azali nani: akoki te kotelemela oyo aleki ye na makasi.
11 For there are many things which increase vanity.
Soki maloba eleki mingi, makambo ya pamba-pamba eyaka mpe ebele; bongo litomba na yango ezali penza nini?
12 What advantage has a man? for who knows [what is] good for a man in his life, [during] the number of the life of the days of his vanity? and he has spent them as a shadow; for who shall tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?
Pamba te, nani ayebi likambo oyo ezali malamu mpo na bomoi ya moto, na mikolo na ye nyonso ya bomoi ya pamba oyo azali kolekisa lokola elili? Nani akoki koyebisa ye makambo oyo ekoya sima na ye, na se ya moyi?
