Deuteronomy 8
1 You shall observe to do all the commands which I charge you today, that you may live and be multiplied, and enter in and inherit the land, which the Lord your God sware [to give] to your fathers.
Dilia mae yolesili, sema huluane na da wali eso dilima i, amo nabawane hamoma. Amasea dilia da mae bogole, dilia dunu fi idi heda: le, amo soge Hina Gode da dilia aowalali ima: ne ilegele sia: i, dilia da gesowale fimu.
2 And you shall remember all the way which the Lord your God led you in the wilderness, that he might afflict you, and try you, and that the things in your heart might be made manifest, whether you would keep his commandments or no.

3 And he afflicted you and straitened you with hunger, and fed you with manna, which your fathers knew not; that he might teach you that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God shall man live.
E da dilima ha: i bagade iasu. Amalalu, E da ha: i manu amo dilia amola dilia aowalali da musa: hame mai amo dilima i. Bai dilia da dunu da osobo bagade ha: i manu amoga fawane hame esalumu be Hina Gode Ea sia: huluane amoga esalumu, amo dilia dawa: ma: ne E da hamosu.
4 Your garments grew not old from off you, your shoes were not worn from off you, your feet were not [painfully] hardened, behold! these forty years.
Amo ode40ganodini, dilia abula da hame dasasu amola dilia emo da hame fofasu.
5 And you shall know in your heart, that as if any man should chasten his son, so the Lord your God will chasten you.
Hina Gode da osobo bagade ada defele dilima olelesu amola se nabasu iaha. Amo mae gogolema.
6 And you shall keep the commands of the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
Amaiba: le, Hina Gode Ea hamoma: ne sia: i defele hamoma. Ea sema defele esaloma amola Ea sia: noga: le nabima.
7 For the Lord your God will bring you into a good and extensive land, where there are torrents of waters, and fountains of deep places issuing through the plains and through the mountains:
Dilia Hina Gode da soge noga: idafa amo ganodini dili oule ahoa. Amo soge da bubuga: su hano noga: iwane amola hano nawali osobo hagudu diala amo da fago soge amola agolo soge amoga sogadigisa.
8 a land of wheat and barley, [wherein are] vines, figs, pomegranates; a land of olive oil and honey;
Amo sogega, widi, bali, waini fage, figi, bomegala: nidi, olife amola agime hani bagade ba: sa.
9 a land on which you shall not eat your bread with poverty, and you shall not lack any thing upon it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of its mountains you shall dig brass.
Amo soge ganodini dilia da hamedafa ha: mu amola dilia hanai huluane ba: mu. Amo soge ea gele ganodini aione (ouli) bagade ba: mu, amola ea agologa dilia da uli dogole balase gula ba: mu.
10 And you shall eat and be filled, and shall bless the Lord your God on the good land, which he has given you.
Dilia hanai defele ha: i manu bagade ba: mu amola Hina Gode da dilima soge noga: idafa ia dagoiba: le, dilia da Ema nodone sia: mu.”
11 Take heed to yourself that you forget not the Lord your God, so as not to keep his commands, and his judgments, and ordinances, which I command you this day:
Mousese da eno amane sia: i, “Dilia Hina Gode maedafa gogolema. Ea sema huluane (amo na da wali eso dilima iaha), afae mae yolesili noga: le nabawane hamoma.
12 lest when you have eaten and are full, and have built goodly houses, and lived in them;
Dilia da ha: i manu dilia hanai defele ba: sea amola dilia diasu noga: iwane amo ganodini esaloma: ne amo gagui dagosea,
13 and your oxen and your sheep are multiplied to you, and your silver and your gold are multiplied to you, and all your possessions are multiplied to you,
amola dilia sibi, bulamagau, silifa amola gouli da bagade hamoi dagoi ba: sea,
14 you should be exalted in heart, and forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage:
noga: le dawa: ma! Dilia da bu gasa fi hamone Hina Gode amo da dilia Idibidi sogega se iasu diasu hamosu halegale masa: ne amo doasi dagoi, amo gogolesa: besa: le dawa: ma!
15 who brought you through that great and terrible wilderness, where [is] the biting serpent, and scorpion, and drought, where there was no water; who brought you a fountain of water out of the flinty rock:
Hina Gode da dili amo bagade wadela: idafa hafoga: i soge amo ganodini saya: be amola gamaloa bagohame ba: i, amo ganodini E da dili oule ahoasu. Amo hano hame soge ganodini, E hamobeba: le, ga: nasi igi amoga hano nawali da dilima hano sogadigi.
16 who fed you with manna in the wilderness, which you knew not, and your fathers knew not; that he might afflict you, and thoroughly try you, and do you good in your latter days.
Amo hafoga: i soge ganodini, E da dili moma: ne ma: na (dilia aowalali da amo ha: i manu hame ba: i) amo dilima i. E da dili ado ba: ma: ne, gasa bagade hou dilima i. Bai E da fa: no dilima hahawane dogolegelewane bagade hamomusa: dawa: i.
17 Lest you should say in your heart, My strength, and the power of mine hand have wrought for me this great wealth.

18 But you shall remember the Lord your God, that he gives you strength to get wealth; even that he may establish his covenant, which the Lord sware to your fathers, as at this day.
Dilia da bagade gagui agoane ba: ma: ne, Hina Gode Hi fawane da Hi gasa dilima iaha. Amo mae gogolema! E da Ea musa: gousa: su hou E da dilia aowalalia hamoi, amo mae fisima: ne dawa: beba: le agoane hamosa.
19 And it shall come to pass if you do at all forget the Lord your God, and should go after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that you shall surely perish.
Dilia Hina Gode gogolele, sinidigili eno ogogosu ‘gode’ liligi ilima nodone sia: ne gadole, ilia hawa: hamosu hamomusa: mae dawa: ma. Agoane hamosea, na da wali dilima sisasu olelesa. Dilia da gugunufinisi dagoi ba: mu.
20 As also the other nations which the Lord God destroys before your face, so shall you perish, because you listened not to the voice of the Lord your God.
Dilia da Hina Gode amo hame nabasea, dilia da dunu fi amo dilia da gusuba: i ahoasea Gode da gugunufinisimu, amo defele dilia da gugunufinisi dagoi ba: mu.
