Deuteronomy 31
1 And Moses finished speaking all these words to all the children of Israel;
Ug miadto si Moises, ug misulti niining mga pulonga sa tanan nga Israel.
2 and said to them, I am this day a hundred and twenty years [old]; I shall not be able any longer to come in or go out; and the Lord said to me, You shall not go over this Jordan.
Ug miingon siya kanila: Sa panuigon nga usa ka gatus ug kaluhaan ka tuig ako niining adlawa; dili na ako arang makagula bisan makasulod: ug si Jehova nag-ingon kanako: Dili ka makatabok niining Jordan.
3 The Lord your God who goes before you, he shall destroy these nations before you, and you shall inherit them: and [it shall be] Joshua that goes before your face, as the Lord has spoken.
Si Jehova nga imong Dios, siya magauna kanimo, siya magalaglag ni ini nga mga nasud gikan sa atubangan mo, ug sila pagaagawan mo: si Josue mao ang magalakaw sa unahan mo sumala sa gipamulong ni Jehova.
4 And the Lord your God shall do to them as he did to Seon and Og the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond Jordan, and to their land, as he destroyed them.
Ug pagabuhaton ni Jehova kanila ingon sa gibuhat niya kang Sihon, ug kang Og, mga hari sa mga Amorehanon, ug sa yuta nila sa mga gilaglag niya.
5 And the Lord has delivered them to you; and you shall do to them, as I charged you.
Ug igatugyan sila ni Jehova sa atubangan ninyo, ug buhaton ninyo kanila ingon sa tanan nga sugo nga gisugo ko kaninyo.
6 Be courageous and strong, fear not, neither be cowardly neither be afraid before them; for [it is] the Lord your God that advances with you in the midst of you, neither will he by any means forsake you, nor desert you.
Magmakusganon kamo ug magmadasigon kamo; dili kamo malisang kanila, ug dili kamo mahadlok kanila: kay si Jehova nga imong Dios mao ang magauban kanimo; dili ka pasagdan niya, ni pagabiyaan ikaw niya.
7 And Moses called Joshua, and said to him before all Israel, Be courageous and strong; for you shall go in before this people into the land which the Lord sware to your fathers to give to them, and you shall give it to them for an inheritance.
Ug mitawag si Moises kang Josue, ug miingon kaniya sa atubangan sa tibook nga Israel: Magmakusganon ka, ug magmadasigon ka: kay ikaw maoy mosulod uban niining katawohan sa yuta nga gipanumpa ni Jehova sa ilang mga amahan aron igahatag kanila, ug ikaw magapapanunod kanila.
8 And the Lord that goes with you shall not forsake you nor abandon you; fear not, neither be afraid.
Ug si Jehova mao ang magauna kanimo; siya magauban kanimo, ikaw dili niya pasagdan, ni pagabiyaan ka niya: dili ka mahadlok, dili ka magmaluya.
9 And Moses wrote the words of this law in a book, and gave it to the priests the sons of Levi who bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to the elders of the sons of Israel.
Ug gisulat ni Moises kini nga Kasugoan, ug gihatag niya sa mga sacerdote, mga anak ni Levi nga nanagdala sa arca sa tugon ni Jehova, ug sa tanan nga mga anciano sa Israel.
10 And Moses charged them in that day, saying, After seven years, in the time of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
Ug si Moises nagsugo kanila nga nagaingon: Sa tapus sa matag-pito ka tuig, sa panahong tinudlo sa tuig sa pagpasaylo, sa fiesta sa mga tabernaculo,
11 when all Israel come together to appear before the Lord your God, in the place which the Lord shall choose, you shall read this law before all Israel in their ears,
Sa moduol ang tibook nga Israel sa pagpangatubang sa atubangan ni Jehova nga imong Dios sa dapit nga iyang pagapilion, pagabasahon mo kini nga Kasugoan sa atubangan sa tibook nga Israel sa mga igdulungog nila.
12 having assembled the people, the men, and the women, and the children, and the stranger that is in your cities, that they may hear, and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God; and they shall listen to do all the words of this law.
Pagatigumon mo ang katawohan, ang mga lalake ug ang mga babaye, ug ang mga bata ug ang imong dumuloong nga anaa sa sulod sa imong mga ganghaan, aron nga managpatalinghug sila, ug managtoo sila, ug mangahadlok kang Jehova nga inyong Dios, ug magbantay sa pagbuhat sa tanan nga mga pulong niini nga Kasugoan;
13 And their sons who have not known shall hear, and shall learn to fear the Lord your God all the days that they live upon the land, into which you go over Jordan to inherit it.
Ug nga ang ilang mga anak, nga wala mahibalo, managpatalinghug, ug managtoon sa pagkahadlok kang Jehova nga inyong Dios, sa tanan nga adlaw nga magapuyo kamo sa ibabaw sa yuta, nga inyong pagaadtoan sa tabok sa Jordan, aron sa pagpanag-iya niini.
14 And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, the days of your death are at hand; call Joshua, and stand you by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony, and I will give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua went to the tabernacle of testimony, and stood by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony.
Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Ania karon, nagakahaduol na ang imong mga adlaw nga ikaw mamatay: tawgon mo si Josue, ug mangadto kamo sa tabernaculo nga tigumanan aron ako magahatag kaniya sa katungdanan. Ug nangadto sila si Moises ug si Josue, ug mingpakita sila sa tabernaculo sa mga tigumanan.
15 And the Lord descended in a cloud, and stood by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony; and the pillar of the cloud stood by the doors of the tabernacle of testimony.
Ug mitungha si Jehova didto sa Balong-Balong, pinaagi sa haligi nga panganod: ug ang haligi nga panganod nagpahaluna sa ibabaw sa pultahan sa Balong-Balong.
16 And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers, and this people will arise and go a whoring after the strange gods of the land, into which they are entering: and they will forsake me, and break my covenant, which I made with them.
Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Ania karon, ikaw matulog uban sa imong mga amahan; ug kini nga katawohan motindog, ug makighilawas sunod sa lain nga mga dios sa yuta, nga ilang pagaadtoan sa pagpuyo sa taliwala nila, ug sila mobiya kanako, ug magabungkag sa akong tugon nga gibuhat ko uban kanila.
17 And I will be very angry with them in that day, and I will leave them and turn my face away from them, and they shall be devoured; and many evils and afflictions shall come upon them; and they shall say in that day, Because the Lord my God is not with me, these evils have come upon me.
Unya ang akong kapungot magadilaab batok kanila niadtong adlawa, ug ako mobiya kanila, ug pagatagoon ko ang akong nawong kanila, ug pagaut-uton sila, ug daghan nga kadautan ug mga kagul-anan ang moabut kanila; nga magaingon sila niadtong adlawa: Wala ba hikaplagi kanato kining mga kadautana kay wala ang atong Dios sa taliwala nato?
18 And I will surely turn away my face from them in that day, because of all their evil doings which they have done, because they turned aside after strange gods.
Ug pagatagoon ko sa pagkamatuod gayud ang akong nawong niadtong adlawa, tungod sa dautan nga ilang pagabuhaton, tungod kay mibalik sila sa laing mga dios.
19 And now write the words of this song, and teach it to the children of Israel, and you shall put it into their mouth, that this song may witness for me among the children of Israel to their face.
Busa karon isulat ninyo kini nga alawiton alang kaninyo, ug itudlo mo sa mga anak sa Israel: ibutang mo kini sa ilang mga baba, aron kini nga alawiton mahimong saksi nako batok sa mga anak sa Israel.
20 For I will bring them into the good land, which I sware to their fathers, to give to them a land flowing with milk and honey: and they shall eat and be filled and satisfy [themselves]; then will they turn aside after other gods, and serve them, and they will provoke me, and break my covenant.
Kay sa ako nang mapasulod sila sa yuta nga gipanumpa ko sa ilang mga amahan, nga nagapaagay sa gatas ug dugos, ug sa makakaon na sila ug mabusog, ug manambok; unya managbalik sila sa lain nga mga dios, ug magaalagad kanila, ug magatamay kanako, ug magabungkag sa akong tugon.
21 And this song shall stand up to witness against them; for they shall not forget it out of their mouth, or out of the mouth of their seed; for I know their wickedness, what they are doing here this day, before I have brought them into the good land, which I sware to their fathers.
Ug mahatabo nga sa moabut kanila ang daghang mga kadautan ug mga kagul-anan, kining alawiton magapamatuod sa ilang atubangan ingon nga saksi; kay dili pagahikalimtan kini sa baba sa ilang kaliwatan: kay ako nahibalo sa ilang hunahuna nga ilang batonan niining adlawa, sa wala pa sila madala nako ngadto sa yuta nga gipanumpa ko.
22 And Moses wrote this song in that day, and taught it to the children of Israel.
Busa gisulat ni Moises kini nga alawiton niadto nga adlawa, ug iyang gitudlo sa mga anak sa Israel.
23 And he charged Joshua, and said, Be courageous and strong, for you shall bring the sons of Israel into the land, which the Lord sware to them, and he shall be with you.
Ug mihatag siya ug katungdanan kang Josue nga anak nga lalake ni Nun, ug miingon: Magmakusganon ka, ug magmadasigon, kay ikaw magadala sa mga anak sa Israel sa yuta nga gipanumpa ko kanila, ug ako magauban kanimo.
24 And when Moses finished writing all the words of this law in a book, even to the end,
Ug nahitabo sa pagkahuman ni Moises pagsulat sa mga pulong niini nga Kasugoan sa usa ka basahon, hangtud kini nahuman,
25 then he charged the Levites who bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying,
Nga misugo si Moises sa mga Levihanon nga nanagdala sa arca sa tugon ni Jehova, nga nagaingon:
26 Take the book of this law, and you shall put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God; and it shall be there among you for a testimony.
Kuhaa ninyo kini nga basahon sa Kasugoan, ug kini ibutang ninyo sa kiliran sa arca sa tugon ni Jehova nga inyong Dios, aron kini adto didto alang sa pagkasaksi batok kanimo;
27 For I know your provocation, and your stiff neck; for yet during my life with you at this day, you have been provoking in your conduct toward God: how shall you not also be so after my death?
Kay naila ko ang imong pagsuki, ug ang imong kagahi ug liog: ania karon, samtang nga ako buhi pa uban kaninyo karong adlawa, nagamasukihon kamo batok kang Jehova; ug unsa ka labi pa gayud niini sa human sa akong kamatayon?
28 Gather together to me the heads of your tribes, and your elders, and your judges, and your officers, that I may speak in their ears all these words; and I call both heaven and earth to witness against them.
Tiguma alang kanako ang tanan nga mga anciano sa inyong mga punoan, aron igasulti ko sa ilang mga igdulungog kining mga pulonga, ug sangpiton ang langit ug yuta sa pagsaksi batok kanila.
29 For I know that after my death you will utterly transgress, and turn aside out of the way which I have commanded you; and evils shall come upon you in the latter days, because you will do evil before the Lord, to provoke him to anger by the works of your hands. And Moses spoke all the words of this song even to the end, in the ears of the whole assembly.
Kay nahibalo ako nga sa human sa akong kamatayon magahugaw kamo sa hilabihan gayud sa inyong kaugalingon, ug magapahalayo kamo sa dalan nga akong gisugo kaninyo; ug moabut kaninyo ang dautan sa ulahi nga mga adlaw, tungod kay magabuhat kamo ug dautan sa mga mata ni Jehova, sa pagpasuko kaniya tungod sa buhat sa inyong mga kamot.
Ug gisulti ni Moises sa mga igdulungog sa tanan nga katilingban sa Israel ang mga pulong niini nga alawiton, hangtud nga nahuman sila.
