< Deuteronomy 26 >

1 And it shall be when you shall have entered into the land, which the Lord your God gives you to inherit it, and you shall have inherited it, and you shall have lived upon it,
Sɛ moduru asase a Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, de rebɛma mo sɛ mo agyapadeɛ sononko no so, na moko gye tena so a,
2 that you shall take of the first of the fruits of your land, which the Lord your God gives you, and you shall put them into a basket, and you shall go to the place which the Lord your God shall choose to have his name called there.

3 And you shall come to the priest who shall be in those days, and you shall say to him, I testify this day to the Lord my God, that I am come into the land which the Lord sware to our fathers to give to us.
Monkɔ ɔsɔfoɔ a ɔwɔ hɔ saa ɛberɛ no nkyɛn na monka nkyerɛ no sɛ, “Menam saa akyɛdeɛ yi so reda no adi sɛ Awurade, yɛn Onyankopɔn, de me aba asase a ɔhyɛɛ mʼagyanom bɔ no so.”
4 And the priest shall take the basket out of your hands, and shall set it before the altar of the Lord your God:
Afei, ɔsɔfoɔ no bɛgye kɛntɛn no afiri wo nsam de asi Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn afɔrebukyia no anim.
5 and he shall answer and say before the Lord your God, My father abandoned Syria, and went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a small number, and became there a mighty nation and a great multitude.
Na wobɛka saa nsɛm yi wɔ Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, anim sɛ, “Na me tete agya Yakob yɛ otutenani Aramni a ɔkɔtenaa Misraim. Nʼabusua no yɛ ketewaa bi, nanso Misraim hɔ no, wɔdɔɔso bebree bɛyɛɛ ɔman kɛseɛ.
6 And the Egyptians afflicted us, and humbled us, and imposed hard tasks on us:
Ɛberɛ a Misraimfoɔ dii yɛn nya nam so ma yɛyɛɛ wɔn nkoa no,
7 and we cried to the Lord our God, and the Lord heard our voice, and saw our humiliation, and our labor, and our affliction.
yɛsu frɛɛ Awurade, yɛn agyanom Onyankopɔn. Ɔtee yɛn sufrɛ na ɔhunuu yɛn amanehunu, ɔbrɛ ne ɔhyɛ a yɛwɔ mu.
8 And the Lord brought us out of Egypt himself with his great strength, and his mighty hand, and his high arm, and with great visions, and with signs, and with wonders.
Enti, Awurade nam tumi a ɛyɛ nwanwa, ehubɔ a emu yɛ den, nsɛnkyerɛnneɛ a ɛpusu nnipa ne anwanwasɛm so gyee yɛn firii Misraim.
9 And he brought us into this place, and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Ɔde yɛn baa ha na ɔde asase yi a nufosuo ne ɛwoɔ resene so yi maa yɛn.
10 And now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruits of the land, which you gave me, O Lord, a land flowing with milk and honey: and you shall leave it before the Lord your God, and you shall worship before the Lord your God;
Afei, Ao Awurade, mede akyɛdeɛ a ɛyɛ mʼaduanekan a wode firi asase mu maa me no rebrɛ wo.” Afei, fa aduane no si Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, anim na sɔre no.
11 and you shall rejoice in all the good [things], which the Lord your God has given you, [you] and your family, and the Levite, and the stranger that is within you.
Afei, kɔ na kɔgye wʼani wɔ nneɛma pa a Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, de ama wo ne wo fiefoɔ no ho. Wʼanigyeɛ no mu, kae Lewifoɔ ne ahɔhoɔ a wɔte mo mu no nso.
12 And when you shall have completed all the tithings of your fruits in the third year, you shall give the second tenth to the Levite, and stranger, and fatherless, and widow; and they shall eat it in your cities, and be merry.
Mfeɛ mmiɛnsa biara, ɛsɛ sɛ moma mo mfudeɛ ho ntotosoɔ dudu sononko. Ɛsɛ sɛ mode saa ntotosoɔ dudu sononko no ma Lewifoɔ, ahɔhoɔ, nwisiaa ne akunafoɔ sɛdeɛ ɛbɛyɛ a, wɔbɛnya bi adi amee wɔ mo nkuro so.
13 And you shall say before the Lord your God, I have fully collected the holy things out of my house, and I have given them to the Levite, and the stranger, and the orphan, and the widow, according to all commands which you did command me: I did not transgress your command, and I did not forget it.
Afei, mompae mu nka wɔ Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, anim sɛ, “Mede akyɛdeɛ kronkron a ɛfiri me fie ama Lewifoɔ, ahɔhoɔ, nwisiaa ne akunafoɔ sɛdeɛ wohyɛɛ me no. Memmuu wo mmara no bi so anaa me werɛ mfirii wo mmara no bi.
14 And in my distress I did not eat of them, I have not gathered of them for an unclean purpose, I have not given of them to the dead; I have listened to the voice of the Lord our God, I have done as you have commanded me.
Manni bi ɛberɛ a meretwa adwo anaasɛ ɛberɛ a na me ho nte no. Afei nso, mamfa me nsa anka bi, na mamfa mu bi nso amma awufoɔ. Matie Awurade, me Onyankopɔn, na mayɛ biribiara a wohyɛɛ me sɛ menyɛ no.
15 Look down from your holy house, from heaven, and bless your people Israel, and the land which you have given them, as you did swear to our fathers, to give to us a land flowing with milk and honey.

16 On this day the Lord your God charged you to keep all the ordinances and judgments; and you shall observe and do them, with all your heart, and with all your soul.
Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn, hyɛ mo ɛnnɛ sɛ, monni saa mmara yi nyinaa so; momfa mo akoma ne mo kra nyinaa nni so.
17 You have chosen God this day to be your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to observe his ordinances and judgments, and to listen to his voice.
Moapae mu aka no ɛnnɛ sɛ, Awurade yɛ, mo Onyankopɔn, na mobɛnante nʼakwan so na mobɛdi ne mmara so ayɛ ɔsetie ama no.
18 And the Lord has chosen you this day that you should be to him a peculiar people, as he said, to keep his commands;
Na Awurade aka no ɛnnɛ sɛ, moyɛ ne nkurɔfoɔ, nʼagyapadeɛ a nʼakoma da ho sɛdeɛ ɔhyɛɛ bɔ no; ɛno enti, ɛsɛ sɛ modi ne mmara nyinaa so.
19 and that you should be above all nations, as he has made you renowned, and a boast, and glorious, that you should be a holy people to the Lord your God, as he has spoken.
Na sɛ moyɛ saa a, ɔbɛyɛ mo kɛseɛ asene ɔman biara. Afei, mobɛnya nkamfoɔ, animuonyam, na mo din bɛhyeta. Mobɛyɛ ɔman a ɛyɛ kronkron ma Awurade, mo Onyankopɔn sɛdeɛ ɔhyɛɛ bɔ no.
