Kings IV 21
1 Manasses [was] twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name [was] Apsiba.
೧ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ಅರಸನಾದಾಗ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಐವತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಫ್ಚಿಬಾ.
2 And he did that which was evil in the eyes of the Lord, according to the abominations of the nations which the Lord cast out from before the children of Israel.
೨ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದನು.
3 And he built again the high places, which Ezekias his father [had] demolished; and set up an altar to Baal, and made groves as Achaab king of Israel [made them]; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
೩ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಿದ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಾಬನಂತೆ ಬಾಳದೇವತೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಅಶೇರ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಮಂಡಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಮುಗಿದು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದನು.
4 And he built an altar in the house of the Lord, whereas he had said, In Jerusalem I will place my name.
೪ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, “ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನೋ, ಆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
5 And he built an altar to all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.
೫ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಎರಡು ಪ್ರಾಕಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸರ್ವ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಮಂಡಲಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.
6 And he caused his sons to pass through the fire, and used divination and auspices, and made groves, and multiplied wizards, so as to do that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
೬ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮಗನನ್ನೇ ಆಹುತಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಕಣಿಕೇಳಿಸುವುದು, ಮಾಟಮಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸುವುದು, ಜೋತಿಷ್ಯ, ಮುಹೂರ್ತಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಭೂತಪ್ರೇತಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವುದು, ಇವೇ ಮೊದಲಾದ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದನು.
7 And he set up the graven image of the grove in the house of which the Lord said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I even place my name for ever.
೭ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ ಅಶೇರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡಿಸಿದನು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆ ಆಲಯದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೂ, “ಈ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಕಲ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು
8 And I will not again remove the foot of Israel from the land which I gave to their fathers, [even of those] who shall keep all that I commanded, according to all the commandments which my servant Moses commanded them.
೮ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ತಮಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ನಿಯಮ ನಿಬಂಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ, ನಡೆಯುವುದಾದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ನಾಮ ಮಹತ್ತು ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸದಾಕಾಲ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ದೇಶಭ್ರಷ್ಟರಾಗಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಾದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
9 But they listened not; and Manasses led them astray to do evil in the sight of the Lord, beyond the nations whom the Lord utterly destroyed from before the children of Israel.
೯ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಆತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿತರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಸಂಹೃತವಾದ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ದುಷ್ಟರಾದರು.
10 And the Lord spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,
೧೦ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ,
11 Forasmuch as Manasses the king of Juda has wrought all these evil abominations, beyond all that the Amorite did, who lived before [him], and has led Juda also into sin by their idols,
೧೧“ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ಮೊದಲು ಇದ್ದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ, ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಲು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ,
12 [it shall] not [be] so. Thus says the Lord God of Israel, Behold, I bring calamities upon Jerusalem and Juda, so that both the ears of every one that hears shall tingle.
೧೨ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಯೆಹೂದದವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವರ ಎರಡು ಕಿವಿಗಳು ಬಿರಿದು ಹೋಗುವವು.
13 And I will stretch out over Jerusalem the measure of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Achaab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a jar is wiped, and turned upside down in the wiping.
೧೩ನೂಲು ಮಟ್ಟಗೋಲು ಇವುಗಳಿಂದಲೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಅಹಾಬನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ನೆಲಸಮಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನೂ ಅದರಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಒಬ್ಬನು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಒರಸಿ ಬೋರಲು ಹಾಕುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಒರಸಿ ಬೋರಲು ಹಾಕುವೆನು.
14 And I will reject the remnant of my inheritance, and will deliver them into the hands of their enemies; and they shall be for a plunder and for a spoil to all their enemies:
೧೪ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದಿರುವವರನ್ನು ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಬಂದು ಅವರ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಸುಲಿದು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುವರು.
15 forasmuch as they have done wickedly in my sight, and have provoked me from the day that I brought out their fathers out of Egypt, even until this day.
೧೫ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಂದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರೇಗಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದದ್ದೇ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಸಿದನು.
16 Moreover Manasses shed very much innocent blood, until he filled Jerusalem [with it] from one end to the other, beside his sins with which he caused Juda to sin, in doing evil in the eyes of the Lord.
೧೬ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಗಳ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿದನು.
17 And the rest of the acts of Manasses, and all that he did, and his sin which he sinned, [are] not these things written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda?
೧೭ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ, ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.
18 And Manasses slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his house, [even] in the garden of Oza: and Amos his son reigned in his stead.
೧೮ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಲು ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಅರಮನೆಯಿರುವ ಉಜ್ಜನ ವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಂತರ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಮೋನನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.
19 Twenty and two years old [was] Amos when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name [was] Mesollam, daughter of Arus of Jeteba.
೧೯ಆಮೋನನು ಅರಸನಾದಾಗ ಅವನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆರಡು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಆಳಿದನು. ಯೊಟ್ಬಾ ಊರಿನವಳೂ ಹಾರೂಚನ ಮಗಳೂ ಆದ ಮೆಷುಲ್ಲೆಮೆತ್ ಎಂಬಾಕೆಯು ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ.
20 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, as Manasses his father did.
೨೦ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಡೆದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾದನು.
21 And he walked in all the way in which his father walked, and served the idols which his father served, and worshipped them.
೨೧ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಅವನು ಪೂಜಿಸಿದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ತಾನೂ ಪೂಜಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದನು.
22 And he forsook the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.
೨೨ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನೂ ಆರಾಧಿಸದೆ, ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಗೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
23 And the servants of Amos conspired against him, and killed the king in his house.
೨೩ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಸೇವಕರು ಆಮೋನನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.
24 And the people of the land killed all that had conspired against king Amos; and the people of the land made Josias king in his room.
೨೪ಆದರೆ ದೇಶದ ಜನರು ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡಿದವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ, ಆಮೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋಷೀಯನನ್ನು ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
25 And the rest of the acts of Amos, [even] all that he did, behold, [are] not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda?
೨೫ಆಮೋನನ ಉಳಿದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯೂ, ಅವನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ರಾಜಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
26 And they buried him in his tomb in the garden of Oza: and Josias his son reigned in his stead.
೨೬ಆಮೋನನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಉಜ್ಜನ ವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಮೊದಲೇ ತನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಂದು ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದನು.
