< Chronicles II 5 >
1 And Solomon brought in the holy things of his father David, the silver, and the gold, and the [other] vessels, and put them in the treasury of the house of the Lord.
Nígbà tí gbogbo iṣẹ́ tí Solomoni ti ṣe fún tẹmpili Olúwa ti parí, ó kó gbogbo àwọn nǹkan tí Dafidi baba rẹ̀ ti yà sọ́tọ̀: wúrà àti fàdákà àti gbogbo ohun èlò ọ̀ṣọ́, ó sì fi wọ́n sínú ìṣúra ilé Ọlọ́run.
2 Then Solomon assembled all the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, [even] the leaders of the families of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, —this [is] Sion.
Nígbà náà ni Solomoni pe àwọn àgbàgbà Israẹli jọ sí Jerusalẹmu, gbogbo àwọn olórí ẹ̀yà kọ̀ọ̀kan àti àwọn olóyè àwọn ìdílé Israẹli, kí wọn kí ó gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa gòkè wá láti Sioni ìlú Dafidi.
3 And all Israel were assembled [to] the king in the feast, this [is] the seventh month.
Gbogbo àwọn ọkùnrin Israẹli péjọ sí ọ̀dọ̀ ọba ní àkókò àjọ àgọ́.
4 And all the elders of Israel came; and all the Levites took up the ark,
Gbogbo àwọn àgbàgbà Israẹli sì wá, àwọn ọmọ Lefi gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa.
5 and the tabernacle of witness, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle; and the priests and the Levites brought it up.
Wọ́n sì gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí náà gòkè àti àgọ́ ìpàdé àti gbogbo ohun èlò mímọ́ tí ó wà nínú àgọ́. Àwọn àlùfáà tí wọ́n jẹ́ ọmọ Lefi ni ó mú wọn gòkè wá.
6 And king Solomon, and all the elders of Israel, and the religious of them, and they of them that were gathered before the ark, [were] sacrificing calves and sheep, which could not be numbered or reckoned for multitude.
Nígbà náà ni ọba Solomoni àti gbogbo ìjọ ènìyàn Israẹli tí ó péjọ sí ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ̀, wà níwájú àpótí ẹ̀rí náà wọ́n sì fi àgùntàn àti màlúù tí a kò le è kà tán rú ẹbọ, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni a kò le è mọ iye wọn tán nítorí bí wọ́n ti pọ̀ tó.
7 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord into its place, into the oracle of the house, [even] into the holy of holies, under the wings of the cherubs.
Nígbà náà ni àwọn àlùfáà gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí ti májẹ̀mú Olúwa wá sí ipò rẹ̀, sí ibi inú lọ́hùn ún ilé Olúwa, Ibi Mímọ́ Jùlọ, wọ́n gbé e sí abẹ́ ìyẹ́ àwọn kérúbù.
8 And the cherubs stretched out their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubs covered the ark, and its staves above.
Àwọn Kérúbù na ìyẹ́ wọn bo ibi àpótí ẹ̀rí náà àti àwọn ọ̀pá tí ó gbé e ró.
9 And the staves projected, and the heads of the staves were seen from the holy place in front of the oracle, they were not seen without: and there they were to this day.
Àwọn ọ̀pá rẹ̀ náà gùn tó bẹ́ẹ̀ tí a fi rí orí àwọn ọ̀pá náà láti ibi àpótí ẹ̀rí náà níwájú Ibi Mímọ́ náà, ṣùgbọ́n a kò rí wọn lóde. Níbẹ̀ ni ó sì wà títí di òní yìí.
10 There was nothing in the ark except the two tables which Moses placed [there] in Choreb, which God gave in covenant with the children of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt.
Kò sí ohun kan nínú àpótí ẹ̀rí náà bí kò ṣe wàláà méjì tí Mose fi sínú rẹ̀ ní Horebu, ní ìgbà tí Olúwa fi bá àwọn ọmọ Israẹli dá májẹ̀mú lẹ́yìn ìgbà tí wọ́n jáde wá láti ilẹ̀ Ejibiti.
11 And it came to pass, when the priests when out of the holy place, (for all the priests that were found were sanctified, they were not [then] arranged according to their daily course, )
Lẹ́yìn náà ni àwọn àlùfáà jáde wá láti Ibi Mímọ́. Gbogbo àwọn àlùfáà tí ó wà níbẹ̀ ni ó ya ara wọn sí mímọ́ láìbìkítà fún ìpín wọn.
12 that all the singing Levites [assigned] to the sons of Asaph, to Aeman, to Idithun, and to his sons, and to his brethren, of them that were clothed in linen garments, with cymbals and lutes and harps, [were] standing before the altar, and with them a hundred and twenty priests, blowing trumpets.
Gbogbo àwọn ọmọ Lefi tí wọ́n jẹ́ akọrin: Asafu, Hemani, Jedutuni àti àwọn ọmọ wọn àti àwọn ẹbí wọn, wọ́n dúró ní igun ìlà-oòrùn pẹpẹ náà wọ́n wọ aṣọ ọ̀gbọ̀ tuntun wọ́n ń lo kimbali, dùùrù àti ohun èlò orin olókùn. Ìwọ̀n ọgọ́fà àwọn àlùfáà tí wọ́n ń fun ìpè ni wọ́n tẹ̀lé wọn.
13 And there was one voice in the trumpeting and in the psalm-singing, and in the loud utterance with one voice to give thanks and praise the Lord; and when they raised their voice together with trumpets and cymbals, and instruments of music, and said, Give thanks to the Lord, for [it is] good, for his mercy [endures] for ever: —then the house was filled with the cloud of the glory of the Lord.
Àwọn afùnpè àti àwọn akọrin pa ohùn wọn pọ̀ sí ọ̀kan ṣoṣo, láti fi ìyìn àti ọpẹ́ fun Olúwa. Wọ́n fi ìpè, kimbali àti àwọn ohun èlò orin mìíràn mọ́ ọn, wọ́n gbé ohùn wọn sókè láti fi yin Olúwa, wọ́n ń kọrin pé, “Ó dára; ìfẹ́ rẹ̀ wà títí láéláé.” Nígbà náà ni ìkùùkuu ojú ọ̀run kún inú tẹmpili Olúwa,
14 And the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
tó bẹ́ẹ̀ tí àwọn àlùfáà kò le è ṣiṣẹ́ ìsìn wọn nítorí ìkùùkuu náà, nítorí ògo Olúwa kún inú tẹmpili Ọlọ́run.
