< Chronicles I 28 >

1 And David assembled all the chief [men] of Israel, the chief of the judges, and all the chief [men] of the courses [of attendance] on the person of the king, and the captains of thousands and hundreds, and the treasurers, and the lords of his substance, and of all the king's property, and of his sons, together with the eunuchs, and the mighty men, and the warriors of the army, at Jerusalem.
Dafidi pe gbogbo àwọn oníṣẹ́ ti Israẹli láti péjọ ní Jerusalẹmu. Àwọn ìjòyè lórí àwọn ẹ̀yà, àwọn alákòóso ìpín nínú iṣẹ́ bí ọba, àwọn alákòóso ẹgbẹẹgbẹ̀rún àti àwọn alákòóso ọ̀rọ̀ọ̀rún àti àwọn oníṣẹ́ tí ó wà ní ìdí bíbojútó gbogbo àwọn ẹrù àti ohun ọ̀sìn tí ó jẹ́ ti ọba àti àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ààfin àwọn oníṣẹ́ ààfin, àwọn ọkùnrin alágbára àti gbogbo àwọn ògbójú jagunjagun lápapọ̀.
2 And David stood in the midst of the assembly, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: it was in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and a place for the feet of our Lord, and I prepared [materials] suitable for the building:
Ọba Dafidi dìde dúró ní ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀, o sì wí pé, “Fetísílẹ̀ sí mi, ẹ̀yin ará mi àti ẹ̀yin ènìyàn mi. Èmi ní o ni lọ́kàn mi láti kọ́ ilé gẹ́gẹ́ bí ibi ìsinmi fún àpótí ẹ̀rí tí Olúwa fún àpótí ìtìsẹ̀ Ọlọ́run wa, èmi sì gbèrò láti kọ́ ọ.
3 but God said, You shall not build me a house to call my name upon it, for you are a man of war, and have shed blood.
Ṣùgbọ́n Ọlọ́run sọ fún mi pé, ‘Ìwọ kò gbọdọ̀ kọ́ ilé fún orúkọ mi, nítorí ìwọ jẹ́ jagunjagun, ìwọ sì ti tàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀.’
4 Yet the Lord God of Israel chose me out of the whole house of my father to be king over Israel for ever; and he chose Juda as the kingly [house], and out of the house of Juda [he chose] the house of my father; and among the sons of my father he preferred me, that I should be king over all Israel.
“Síbẹ̀ Olúwa, Ọlọ́run Israẹli yàn mí láti gbogbo ìdílé láti jẹ́ ọba lórí Israẹli, títí láé. Ó yan Juda gẹ́gẹ́ bí olórí, àti láti ilé Juda, ó yan ìdílé mi, àti láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ọmọ baba à mí, ó tẹ́ Ẹ lọ́rùn láti fi mí ṣe ọba lórí gbogbo Israẹli.
5 And of all my sons, (for the Lord has given me many sons, ) he has chosen Solomon my son, to set him on the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.
Nínú gbogbo àwọn ọmọ mi pẹ̀lú Olúwa ti fún mi ní púpọ̀, ó ti yan ọmọ mi Solomoni láti jókòó lórí ìtẹ́ ìjọba ti Olúwa lórí Israẹli.
6 And God said to me, Solomon your son shall build my house and my court: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be to him a father.
Ó wí fún mi pé, Solomoni ọmọ rẹ ni ẹni tí yóò kọ́ ilé mi àti àwọn ààfin mi, nítorí tí èmi ti yàn án láti ṣe ọmọ mi èmi yóò sì jẹ́ baba a rẹ̀.
7 And I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he continue to keep my commandments, and my judgments, as [at] this day.
Èmi yóò fi ìdí ìjọba rẹ̀ kalẹ̀ títí láé tí kò bá kọ̀ láti gbé àṣẹ àti òfin mi jáde, gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ti ṣe é ní àsìkò yìí.
8 And now [I charge you] before the whole assembly of the Lord, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek all the commandments of the Lord our God, that you may inherit the good land, and leave it for your sons to inherit after you for ever.
“Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni, nísinsin yìí, èmi pàṣẹ fún ọ ní ojú gbogbo Israẹli àti ní ti ìpéjọpọ̀ tí Olúwa, àti ní etí ìgbọ́ Ọlọ́run wa. Ṣọ́ra kó o sì tẹ̀lé gbogbo òfin Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ kí ìwọ kí ó le jogún ilẹ̀ dáradára yìí, kí o sì mú un lọ síwájú gẹ́gẹ́ bí ogún rẹ fún àwọn ìran ọmọ rẹ títí láé.
9 And now, [my] son Solomon, know the God of your fathers, and serve him with a perfect heart and willing soul: for the Lord searches all hearts, and knows every thought: if you seek him, he will be found of you; but if you should forsake him, he will forsake you for ever.
“Àti ìwọ, ọmọ mi Solomoni, rántí Ọlọ́run baba à rẹ, kí o sì sìn ín pẹ̀lú tọkàntọkàn pẹ̀lú ìfọkànsí pẹ̀lú ọkàn tí ó pé, nítorí Olúwa ṣàwárí gbogbo ọkàn ó sì mọ gbogbo èrò. Tí ìwọ bá wá a, ìwọ yóò rí i; ṣùgbọ́n tí ìwọ bá kọ̀ ọ́ sílẹ̀, òun yóò kọ̀ ọ́ títí láé.
10 See now, for the Lord has chosen you to build him a house for a sanctuary, be strong and do [it].
Gbèrò báyìí nítorí tí Olúwa ti yàn ọ́ láti kọ́ ilé Olúwa gẹ́gẹ́ bí ilé tí a yà sí mímọ́ fún Olúwa. Jẹ́ alágbára kí ó sì ṣe iṣẹ́ náà.”
11 And David gave Solomon his son the plan of the temple, and its buildings, and its treasuries, and its upper chambers, and the inner store-rooms, and the place of the atonement,
Nígbà náà ni Dafidi fi àpẹẹrẹ fún Solomoni ọmọ rẹ̀ ti ìloro àti ti ilé Olúwa náà, kíkọ́ ọ rẹ̀, àti ti ibi ìṣúra rẹ̀, àti ti iyàrá òkè rẹ̀, àti ti ìyẹ̀wù rẹ̀ àti ti ibùjókòó àánú.
12 and the plan which he had in his mind of the courts of the house of the Lord, and of all the chambers round about, [designed] for the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the holy things, and of the chambers for resting:
Ó fún un ní àwọn ètò gbogbo èyí tí ẹ̀mí ti fi sí ọkàn rẹ̀ fún ti ààfin ilé Olúwa àti gbogbo yàrá tí ó yíká fún ìṣúra ilé Ọlọ́run àti fún ìṣúra fún ohun yíyà sọ́tọ̀.
13 and [the plan] of the courses of the priests and Levites, for all the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and of the stores of vessels for ministration of the service of the house of the Lord.
Ó fún un ní àwọn ìlànà fún ìpín ti àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn ará Lefi àti fún gbogbo iṣẹ́ ìsìn nínú ilé Olúwa àti fún gbogbo ohun èlò tí wọn ó lò nínú ìsìn rẹ̀.
14 And [he gave him] the account of their weight, both of gold and silver [vessels].
Ó yàn ìwọ̀n wúrà fún gbogbo ohun èlò wúrà tí a ó lò níbi oríṣìí ìsìn, àti ìwọ̀n fàdákà fún gbogbo ohun èlò fàdákà tí a ó lò fún oríṣìí ìsìn,
15 He gave him the weight of the candlesticks, and of the lamps.
ìwọ̀n wúrà fún ìdúró fìtílà àti fìtílà wọn, fún ìwọ̀n fún ọ̀kọ̀ọ̀kan ìdúró fìtílà àti fìtílà wọn; àti ìwọ̀n fàdákà ìdúró fìtílà fàdákà àti àwọn fìtílà rẹ̀, gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìlò ti gbogbo ìdúró fìtílà.
16 He gave him likewise the weight of the tables of show bread, of each table of gold, and likewise of the [tables of] silver:
Ìwọ̀n ti wúrà fun tábìlì, tábìlì fún àkàrà tí a yà sọ́tọ̀; ìwọ̀n fàdákà fún àwọn tábìlì fàdákà;
17 also of the flesh hooks, and vessels for drink-offering, and golden bowls: and the weight of the gold and silver [articles], and censers, [and] bowls, according to the weight of each.
ìwọ̀n kìkì wúrà fún àwọn àmúga ìjẹun, àwọn ìbùwọ́n ọpọ́n àti àwọn ìkòkò ìpọnmi; ìwọ̀n wúrà fún gbogbo àwopọ̀kọ́ fàdákà;
18 And he showed him the weight [of the utensils] of the altar of incense, [which was] of pure gold, and the plan of the chariot of the cherubs that spread out their wings, and overshadowed the ark of the covenant of the Lord.
àti ìwọ̀n ìdá wúrà fún pẹpẹ tùràrí ó fún un ní ètò fún kẹ̀kẹ́, ìyẹn ni pé àwọn ìdúró kérúbù wúrà tí wọ́n tan iye wọn ká, wọ́n sì bo àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa.
19 David gave all to Solomon in the Lord's handwriting, according to the knowledge given him of the work of the pattern.
“Gbogbo èyí,” ni Dafidi wí pé, “Èmi ní kíkọ sílẹ̀ láti ọwọ́ Olúwa sórí mi, ó sì fún mí ní ìmọ̀ nínú gbogbo iṣẹ́ ètò yìí.”
20 And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong, and play the man, and do: fear not, neither be terrified; for the Lord my God [is] with you; he will not forsake you, and will not fail you, until you have finished all the work of the service of the house of the Lord. And behold the pattern of the temple, even his house, and its treasury, and the upper chambers, and the inner store-rooms, and the place of propitiation, and the plan of the house of the Lord.
Dafidi tún sọ fún Solomoni ọmọ rẹ̀ pé, “Jẹ́ alágbára kí o sì gbóyà, kí o sì ṣe iṣẹ́ náà. Má ṣe bẹ̀rù tàbí dààmú, nítorí Olúwa Ọlọ́run, Ọlọ́run mi, wà pẹ̀lú rẹ. Òun kì yóò sì já ọ kule tàbí kọ ọ sílẹ̀ títí gbogbo iṣẹ́ fún ìsìn ní ti ilé Olúwa yóò fi parí.
21 And see, [here are] the courses of the priests and Levites for all the service of the house of the Lord, and [there shall be] with you [men] for every workmanship, and every one of ready skill in every are: also the chief men and all the people, [ready] for all your commands.
Ìpín àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn ará Lefi ti ṣetán fún gbogbo iṣẹ́ ilé Olúwa. Gbogbo ọkùnrin tí ó ní ìfẹ́ sí i tí ó sì ní òye oríṣìíríṣìí iṣẹ́. Yóò ràn ọ́ lọ́wọ́ nínú iṣẹ́ náà. Àwọn ìjòyè àti gbogbo àwọn ènìyàn yóò gbọ́rọ̀ sí gbogbo àṣẹ rẹ.”
