Chronicles I 18
1 And it came to pass afterwards, that David struck the Philistines, and routed them, and took Geth and its villages out of the hand of the Philistines.
ಇದರ ತರುವಾಯ ದಾವೀದನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿ, ಅವರಿಂದ ಗತ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಆಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡನು.
2 And he struck Moab; and the Moabites became servants to David, [and] tributaries.
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸಹ ಸೋಲಿಸಿದನು, ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿ ಕಪ್ಪಕೊಡುವವರಾದರು.
3 And David struck Adraazar king of Suba of Emath, as he was going to establish power toward the river Euphrates.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಯೂಫ್ರೇಟೀಸ್ ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಹಮಾತಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚೋಬದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹದದೆಜೆರನನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದನು.
4 And David took of them a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand infantry: and David houghed all the chariot [horses], but there were reserved of them a hundred chariots.
ದಾವೀದನು ಅವನಿಂದ ಸಾವಿರ ರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರ ರಾಹುತರನ್ನೂ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಕಾಲಾಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. ನೂರು ರಥಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ, ಇತರ ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಕಾಲಿನ ನರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
5 And the Syrian came from Damascus to help Adraazar king of Suba; and David struck of the Syrian [army] twenty and two thousand men.
ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಚೋಬದ ಅರಸ ಹದದೆಜೆರನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದಾಗ, ದಾವೀದನು ಅರಾಮ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
6 And David put a garrison in Syria near Damascus; and they became tributary servants to David: and the Lord delivered David wherever he went.
ತರುವಾಯ ದಾವೀದನು ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಅರಾಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾವಲುದಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿ, ಕಪ್ಪವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವವರಾದರು. ದಾವೀದನು ಹೋದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಜಯಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
7 And David took the golden collars that were on the servants of Adraazar, and brought them to Jerusalem.
ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಹದದೆಜೆರನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗಿದ್ದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಗುರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತಂದನು.
8 And David took out of Matabeth, and out of the chief cities of Adraazar very much brass: of this Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the brazen vessels.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹದದೆಜೆರನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಾದ ಟಿಭತಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಕೂನ್‌ದಿಂದಲೂ ದಾವೀದನು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕಂಚನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು. ಅದರಿಂದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಕಂಚಿನ ಕೊಳವನ್ನೂ, ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನೂ, ವಿವಿಧ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
9 And Thoa king of Emath heard that David had struck the whole force of Adraazar king of Suba.
ದಾವೀದನು ಚೋಬದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹದದೆಜೆರನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದನೆಂಬ ವರ್ತಮಾನವನ್ನು ಹಮಾತಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ತೋವು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ,
10 And he sent Aduram his son to king David to ask how he was, and to congratulate him because he had fought against Adraazar, and struck him; for Thoa was the enemy of Adraazar.
ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಕ್ಷೇಮಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲೂ, ಹದದೆಜೆರನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿ, ಹರಸುವಂತೆ, ತೋವು ತನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರನಾದ ಹದೋರಾಮನನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ತರವಾದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ಬಂಗಾರ, ಕಂಚಿನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಹದದೆಜೆರನಿಗೆ ತೋವಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಗಳಿದ್ದವು.
11 And all the golden and silver and brazen vessels, even these king David consecrated to the Lord, with the silver and the gold which he took from all the nations; from Idumaea, and Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalec.
ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಎದೋಮ್ಯರು, ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು, ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರು, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು, ಅಮಾಲೇಕ್ಯರು ಎಂಬ ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
12 And Abesa son of Saruia struck the Idumeans in the valley of Salt, eighteen thousand.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಚೆರೂಯಳ ಮಗ ಅಬೀಷೈಯನು ಉಪ್ಪಿನ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನೆಂಟು ಸಾವಿರ ಎದೋಮ್ಯರ ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದನು.
13 And he put garrisons in the valley; and all the Idumaeans became David's servants: and the Lord delivered David wherever he went.
ಎದೋಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾವಲುದಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಇದರಿಂದ, ಎದೋಮ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾದರು. ದಾವೀದನು ಹೋದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಜಯಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
14 So David reigned over all Israel; and he executed judgment and justice to all his people.
ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ದಾವೀದನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುತ್ತಾ ತನ್ನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರಿಗೂ ನೀತಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳಿಂದ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
15 And Joab the son of Saruia [was] over the army, and Josaphat the son of Achilud [was] recorder.
ಚೆರೂಯಳ ಮಗ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅಹೀಲೂದನ ಮಗ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನು ಆಸ್ಥಾನದ ಆಗುಹೋಗುಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
16 And Sadoc son of Achitob, and Achimelech son of Abiathar, [were] the priests; and Susa [was] the scribe;
ಅಹೀಟೂಬನ ಮಗ ಚಾದೋಕನೂ, ಅಬಿಯಾತರನ ಮಗ ಅಹೀಮೆಲೆಕನೂ ಯಾಜಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಶವ್ಷನು ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
17 and Banaeas the son of Jodae [was] over the Cherethite and the Phelethite, and the sons of David were the chief deputies of the king.
ಯೆಹೋಯಾದಾವನ ಮಗ ಬೆನಾಯನು ಕೆರೇತ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಪೆಲೇತ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ದಾವೀದನ ಪುತ್ರರು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
