Zechariah 14
1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Voici venir un jour de Yahvé, où votre butin sera partagé au milieu de vous.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Car je rassemblerai toutes les nations contre Jérusalem pour qu'elles combattent; la ville sera prise, les maisons pillées, les femmes violées. La moitié de la ville partira en captivité, et le reste du peuple ne sera pas retranché de la ville.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Alors Yahvé sortira et combattra contre ces nations, comme au jour du combat.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Ses pieds se tiendront en ce jour-là sur la montagne des Oliviers, qui est devant Jérusalem à l'est; et la montagne des Oliviers se fendra en deux d'est en ouest, formant une très grande vallée. La moitié de la montagne se déplacera vers le nord, et l'autre moitié vers le sud.
5 And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee.
Vous fuirez par la vallée de mes montagnes, car la vallée des montagnes s'étendra jusqu'à Azel. Oui, vous fuirez, comme vous avez fui avant le tremblement de terre, à l'époque d'Ozias, roi de Juda. Yahvé mon Dieu viendra, et tous les saints avec vous.
6 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the light shall not be clear, [nor] dark:
Il arrivera en ce jour-là qu'il n'y aura ni lumière, ni froid, ni gelée.
7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, [that] at evening time it shall be light.
Ce sera un jour unique, connu de Yahvé - ni jour, ni nuit - mais il arrivera qu'à l'heure du soir il y aura de la lumière.
8 And it shall be in that day, [that] living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
En ce jour-là, des eaux vives sortiront de Jérusalem, pour moitié vers la mer orientale et pour moitié vers la mer occidentale. Il en sera ainsi en été et en hiver.
9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
Yahvé sera roi sur toute la terre. En ce jour-là, Yahvé sera unique, et son nom sera unique.
10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and [from] the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.
Tout le pays sera rendu semblable à la plaine, depuis Guéba jusqu'à Rimmon, au sud de Jérusalem; elle s'élèvera et habitera à sa place, depuis la porte de Benjamin jusqu'à la place de la première porte, jusqu'à la porte d'angle, et depuis la tour de Hananel jusqu'aux pressoirs du roi.
11 And [men] shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
Les hommes y habiteront, et il n'y aura plus de malédiction; mais Jérusalem habitera en sécurité.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
Voici la plaie dont Yahvé frappera tous les peuples qui auront combattu contre Jérusalem: leur chair se consumera pendant qu'ils se tiendront sur leurs pieds, leurs yeux se consumeront dans leurs orbites, et leur langue se consumera dans leur bouche.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
En ce jour-là, il y aura parmi eux une grande panique de la part de l'Éternel; chacun saisira la main de son prochain, et sa main se lèvera contre la main de son prochain.
14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
Juda aussi combattra à Jérusalem; et les richesses de toutes les nations d'alentour seront rassemblées: or, argent et vêtements, en grande abondance.
15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
Une telle plaie tombera sur le cheval, sur la mule, sur le chameau, sur l'âne et sur tous les animaux qui seront dans ces camps.
16 And it shall come to pass, [that] every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Il arrivera que tous ceux qui resteront de toutes les nations qui sont venues contre Jérusalem monteront d'année en année pour se prosterner devant le roi, l'Yahvé des armées, et pour célébrer la fête des tentes.
17 And it shall be, [that] whoso will not come up of [all] the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
Celui de toutes les familles de la terre qui ne montera pas à Jérusalem pour se prosterner devant le roi, l'Éternel des armées, celui-là ne recevra pas de pluie.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that [have] no [rain; ] there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Si la famille d'Égypte ne monte pas et ne vient pas, il ne pleuvra pas non plus sur elle. Ce sera la plaie dont Yahvé frappera les nations qui ne monteront pas pour célébrer la fête des tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Ce sera le châtiment de l'Égypte et le châtiment de toutes les nations qui ne monteront pas pour célébrer la fête des kermesses.
20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
En ce jour-là, on inscrira sur les cloches des chevaux: « SAINTETÉ À YAHVÉ »; et les marmites de la maison de Yahvé seront comme les coupes devant l'autel.
21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
Oui, toutes les marmites de Jérusalem et de Juda seront consacrées à l'Éternel des armées; et tous ceux qui sacrifient viendront s'en servir et cuisineront dedans. En ce jour-là, il n'y aura plus de Cananéen dans la maison de l'Éternel des armées.
