< Titus 2 >

1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
Patong rhoek te aka khuel la, a hinom la, a cuepmueih la, tangnah dongah sading la, lungnah, uehnah neh om saeh.
3 The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
Te vanbangla a ham rhoek te omih ah hingcim la om saeh, hmuiyoih boel saeh, misurtui kah sal muep bi boel saeh, olthen aka thuituen la om uh saeh.
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
Te daengah ni tanoe rhoek te, va aka lungnah, ca aka lungnah la om ham a rhaengtuk thaihawn uh eh.
5 [To be] discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
A cuepmueih la, a cuem la, imkhoem then neh a va taengah boe a ngai. Te daengah ni Pathen kah olka te a soehsal pawt eh.
6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
Te vanbangla cadong tanoe rhoek te a muet uh ham hloephoelh lah.
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine [shewing] uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
A cungkuem ah namah te bibi then kah mueimae la tueng lah. Thuituennah dongah rhuepomnah neh hinomnah tueng sak.
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
Olka te a koemboek la thuem saeh. Te daengah ni aka kingkalh loh yak vetih mamih te a thae la thui ham a khueh pawt eh.
9 [Exhort] servants to be obedient unto their own masters, [and] to please [them] well in all [things]; not answering again;
Sal rhoek te soeprhaep boeih ah a boeikung taengah boengai saeh lamtah a kolo la om saeh, boekoek boel saeh.
10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (aiōn g165)

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Ngaiuepnah yoethen neh boeilen Pathen kah thangpomnah khaw, mamih khangkung Jesuh Khrih kah a phoenah te n'lamtawn.
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Amah loh mamih yueng la amah paeuh. Te daengah ni mamih te olaeknah cungkuem lamloh n'tlan tih amah ham a khueh pilnam, bibi then kah aka hmae te n'cilpoe eh.
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Hekah he na thui phoeiah hloephoelh lamtah olpaek boeih neh toeltham lah. Nang te n'hnoel boel saeh.
