Revelation 11
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
Und mir wurde ein Rohr gegeben, gleich einem Stabe; und es wurde zu mir gesagt: Mache dich auf und miß den Tempel Gottes und den Altar und die, welche dort anbeten.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months.
Aber den Vorhof, der außerhalb des Tempels ist, laß weg und miß ihn nicht; denn er ist den Heiden gegeben, und sie werden die heilige Stadt zertreten zweiundvierzig Monate lang.
3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Und ich will meinen zwei Zeugen verleihen, daß sie weissagen sollen tausendzweihundertsechzig Tage lang, angetan mit Säcken.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
Das sind die zwei Ölbäume und die zwei Leuchter, die vor dem Herrn der Erde stehen.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
Und wenn jemand sie schädigen will, geht Feuer aus ihrem Munde und verzehrt ihre Feinde; und wenn jemand sie schädigen will, muß er so getötet werden.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
Diese haben Macht, den Himmel zu verschließen, damit kein Regen falle in den Tagen ihrer Weissagung; und sie haben Macht über die Gewässer, sie in Blut zu verwandeln und die Erde mit allerlei Plagen zu schlagen, so oft sie wollen.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. (Abyssos g12)
Und wenn sie ihr Zeugnis vollendet haben, wird das Tier, das aus dem Abgrund heraufsteigt, mit ihnen Krieg führen und sie überwinden und sie töten. (Abyssos g12)
8 And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
Und ihre Leichname werden auf der Gasse der großen Stadt liegen, welche im geistlichen Sinne Sodom und Ägypten heißt, wo auch ihr Herr gekreuzigt worden ist.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
Und [viele] von den Völkern und Stämmen und Zungen werden ihre Leichname sehen, drei Tage lang und einen halben, und werden ihre Leichname nicht in ein Grab legen lassen.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
Und die auf Erden wohnen, werden sich über sie freuen und frohlocken und werden einander Geschenke schicken, weil diese zwei Propheten die Bewohner der Erde gepeinigt hatten.
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
Und nach den drei Tagen und einem halben kam der Geist des Lebens aus Gott in sie, und sie traten auf ihre Füße, und eine große Furcht überfiel die, welche sie sahen.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
Und sie hörten eine laute Stimme vom Himmel her, die zu ihnen sprach: Steiget hier herauf! Da stiegen sie in den Himmel hinauf in der Wolke, und ihre Feinde sahen sie.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Und zur selben Stunde entstand ein großes Erdbeben, und der zehnte Teil der Stadt fiel; und es wurden in dem Erdbeben siebentausend Menschen getötet, und die übrigen wurden voll Furcht und gaben dem Gott des Himmels die Ehre.
14 The second woe is past; [and], behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
Das zweite Wehe ist vorüber; siehe, das dritte Wehe kommt schnell.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (aiōn g165)
Und der siebente Engel posaunte; da erschollen laute Stimmen im Himmel, die sprachen: Das Weltreich unsres Herrn und seines Gesalbten ist zustande gekommen, und er wird regieren von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit! (aiōn g165)
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
Und die vierundzwanzig Ältesten, die vor Gott auf ihren Thronen saßen, fielen auf ihr Angesicht und beteten Gott an
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
und sprachen: Wir danken dir, Herr, allmächtiger Gott, der da ist, und der da war, daß du deine große Macht an dich genommen und die Regierung angetreten hast!
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Und die Völker sind zornig geworden, und dein Zorn ist gekommen und die Zeit der Toten, daß sie gerichtet werden, und daß du den Lohn gebest deinen Knechten, den Propheten und den Heiligen und denen, die deinen Namen fürchten, den Kleinen und den Großen, und daß du die verderbest, welche die Erde verderben!
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Und der Tempel Gottes im Himmel wurde geöffnet, und die Lade seines Bundes wurde sichtbar in seinem Tempel. Und es entstanden Blitze und Stimmen und Donner und Erdbeben und großer Hagel.
