Revelation 1
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John:
La Revelación de Jesucristo que Dios le dio para que sus siervos conocieran las cosas que sucederán pronto; y la envió y declaró por medio de su ángel a su siervo Juan;
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Que dio testimonio de la palabra de Dios y del testimonio de Jesucristo, de todas las cosas que vio.
3 Blessed [is] he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time [is] at hand.
Bendecido sea el lector, y los que escuchan las palabras del profeta, y guarde las cosas que ha puesto en el libro; porque el tiempo está cerca.
4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
Juan, a las siete iglesias que están en Asia: Gracia y paz a ustedes, del que es y fue y está por venir; y de los siete espíritus que están delante de su trono;
5 And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Y de Jesucristo, el testigo fiel, el primero en volver de entre los muertos, y el soberano de los reyes de la tierra. Al que nos amó y nos lavó de nuestros pecados con su sangre;
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Y nos ha hecho reyes y sacerdotes para Dios y su Padre; a él sea la gloria y el imperio por los siglos de los siglos. Que así sea. (aiōn g165)
7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
Mira, él viene con las nubes, y todo ojo lo verá, y aquellos quienes lo traspasaron; y todas las tribus de la tierra se lamentarán por causa de él. Sí, que así sea.
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Yo soy el alfa y Omega, principio y Fin, dice el Señor, Dios que es y fue y ha de venir, el todopoderoso.
9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Yo, Juan, su hermano, que tengo parte con ustedes en la tribulación, en el reino y la paciencia de Jesucristo, estaba en la isla que se llama Patmos, por la palabra de Dios y el testimonio de Jesucristo.
10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
Yo estaba en el Espíritu en el día del Señor, y una gran voz a mi espalda como de trompeta, llegó a mis oídos,
11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [it] unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Diciendo: Lo que ves, escribe en un libro y envíalo a las siete iglesias que están en Asia; a Éfeso, a Esmirna, a Pérgamo, a Tiatira, a Sardis, a Filadelfia y la Laodicea.
12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
Y volviéndose a ver la voz que me decía estas palabras, vi siete candeleros de oro con luces encendidas;
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [one] like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
Y en medio de ellos, uno como semejante al hijo del hombre, vestido con una túnica hasta los pies, y con una cinta de oro alrededor de sus pechos.
14 His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire;
Y su cabeza y su cabello eran blancos como la lana, blancos como la nieve; y sus ojos eran como llama de fuego;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Y sus pies como bronce pulido, como si hubiera sido fundido en un fuego; y su voz era como el sonido de grandes aguas.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength.
Y tenía en su diestra siete estrellas: y de su boca salía una espada aguda de dos filos; y su rostro era como el sol que resplandece en su fuerza.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Y cuando lo vi, me postré sobre mi rostro a sus pies como un muerto. Y él puso su mano derecha sobre mí, diciendo: No temas; Yo soy el primero y el último;
19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
Por tanto, escribe lo que has visto, y las que son, y lo que sucederá después de esto;
20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
El secreto de los siete estrellas que viste en mi diestra, y de los siete candeleros de oro. Las siete estrellas son los ángeles de las siete iglesias: y las siete candeleros de oro son las siete iglesias.
