Psalms 97

1 The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad [thereof].

१परमेश्वर राज्य करतो; पृथ्वी आनंदित होवो. अनेक द्वीपसमूह आनंदित होवो.

2 Clouds and darkness [are] round about him: righteousness and judgment [are] the habitation of his throne.

२ढग आणि काळोख त्याच्याभोवती आहेत. निती व न्याय त्याच्या सिंहासनाचा पाया आहेत.

3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

३अग्नी त्याच्यापुढे चालतो, आणि प्रत्येक बाजूने त्याच्या शत्रूंना नष्ट करून टाकतो.

4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

४त्याच्या विजांनी जग प्रकाशित केले; पृथ्वी हे पाहून थरथर कापली.

5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

५परमेश्वरासमोर, सर्व पृथ्वीच्या प्रभूसमोर पर्वत मेणासारखे वितळले.

6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

६आकाशाने, त्याचा न्याय जाहीर केला, आणि सर्व राष्ट्रांनी त्याचे वैभव पाहिले.

7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all [ye] gods.

७जे कोरीव मूर्तीची पूजा करतात, जे मूर्तीचा अभिमान बाळगतात ते सर्व लज्जित झाले. अहो सर्व देवहो! त्याच्यासमोर नमन करा.

8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD.

८सियोनेने हे ऐकले आणि आनंदित झाली, कारण हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या न्यायामुळे यहूदाच्या नगरांनी आनंद केला.

9 For thou, LORD, [art] high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

९कारण हे परमेश्वरा, सर्व पृथ्वीवर तू परात्पर आहेस. तू सर्व देवापेक्षा खूपच उंचावलेला आहेस.

10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

१०जे तुम्ही परमेश्वरावर प्रीती करता, ते तुम्ही वाईटाचा द्वेष करा, तो आपल्या भक्तांच्या जीवाचे रक्षण करतो, आणि तो त्यास दुष्टांच्या हातातून सोडवतो.

11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

११नितीमानासाठी प्रकाश आणि जे सरळ अंतःकरणाचे आहेत त्यांच्यासाठी हर्ष पेरला आहे.

12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

१२अहो नितीमानांनो, परमेश्वराठायी आनंदी व्हा. त्याच्या पवित्र नावाला धन्यवाद द्या.
