Psalms 96
1 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.
੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਗੀਤ ਲਈ ਗਾਓ, ਹੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਗਾਓ!
2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.
੨ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਗਾਓ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖੋ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਦਿਨੋਂ-ਦਿਨ ਪਰਚਾਰ ਕਰੋ!
3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
੩ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਚਰਜ਼ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰੋ।
4 For the LORD [is] great, and greatly to be praised: he [is] to be feared above all gods.
੪ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਉਸਤਤ ਜੋਗ ਵੀ, ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਉਹ ਭੈਅ ਦਾਇਕ ਹੈ।
5 For all the gods of the nations [are] idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
੫ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਤਾਂ ਬੁੱਤ ਹੀ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਬਣਾਏ।
6 Honour and majesty [are] before him: strength and beauty [are] in his sanctuary.
੬ਮਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਮਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਹਨ, ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਹੱਪਣ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ।
7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
੭ਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੁਲੋ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨੋ, ਹਾਂ, ਪਰਤਾਪ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਮੰਨੋ,
8 Give unto the LORD the glory [due unto] his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
੮ਪਰਤਾਪ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਮੰਨੋ, ਨਜ਼ਰਾਨਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਓ!
9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
੯ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਸਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕੋ। ਹੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਥਰ-ਥਰ ਕਰੋ!
10 Say among the heathen [that] the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
੧੦ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖੋ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਜਗਤ ਕਾਇਮ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਹਿੱਲੇ, ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.
੧੧ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਵੇ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਗਰਜੇ,
12 Let the field be joyful, and all that [is] therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
੧੨ਮੈਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਹੋਵੇ! ਫੇਰ ਜੰਗਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਿਰਛ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਗਜਾਉਣਗੇ,
13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
੧੩ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
