Psalms 89

1 Maschil of Ethan the Ezrahite. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

౧ఎజ్రా వంశం వాడైన ఏతాను దైవ ధ్యానం. యెహోవా కృపాకార్యాలను నేను కలకాలం గానం చేస్తాను. రాబోయే తరాలకు నీ నమ్మకత్వాన్ని ప్రకటిస్తాను.

2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

౨నేను అంటున్నాను, నిబంధన విశ్వసనీయత శాశ్వతంగా స్థాపించావు. నీ సత్యం పరలోకంలో శాశ్వతంగా స్థిరపరచావు.

3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

౩నేను ఏర్పరచుకున్న వాడితో ఒడంబడిక చేసుకున్నాను. నా సేవకుడు దావీదుతో ప్రమాణం చేశాను.

4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. (Selah)

౪శాశ్వతంగా ఉండేలా నీ సంతానాన్ని స్థిరపరుస్తాను, తరతరాలకు నీ సింహాసనం సుస్థిరం చేస్తాను. (సెలా)

5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

౫యెహోవా, ఆకాశాలు నీ అద్భుతాలను ప్రస్తుతిస్తాయి, పవిత్రుల సమావేశంలో నీ విశ్వసనీయతకు స్తుతులు కలుగుతున్నాయి.

6 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? [who] among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?

౬ఆకాశాల్లో యెహోవాకు సాటి ఎవడు? దైవపుత్రుల్లో యెహోవాలాంటి వాడెవడు?

7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all [them that are] about him.

౭పవిత్రుల సభలో ఆయన గౌరవనీయుడైన దేవుడు. తన చుట్టూ ఉన్న వారందరిలో ఆయన సంభ్రమాశ్చర్యాలుగొలిపే వాడు.

8 O LORD God of hosts, who [is] a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

౮యెహోవా, సేనల ప్రభువైన దేవా, నీలాంటి బలిష్టుడెవడు? నీ విశ్వాస్యత నిన్ను ఆవరించి ఉంది.

9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

౯ఉప్పొంగే సముద్రాన్ని నువ్వు అదుపులో ఉంచుతావు, అలలు ఉవ్వెత్తుగా లేస్తే నువ్వు వాటిని అణచివేస్తావు.

10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

౧౦చచ్చిన దానితో సమానంగా నువ్వు రాహాబును నలిపేశావు. నీ బాహుబలంతో నీ శత్రువులను చెదరగొట్టి వేశావు.

11 The heavens [are] thine, the earth also [is] thine: [as for] the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

౧౧ఆకాశాలు నీవే, భూమి కూడా నీదే. లోకాన్నీ దానిలో ఉన్నదంతా నువ్వే చేశావు.

12 The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.

౧౨ఉత్తర దక్షిణ దిక్కులను నువ్వే సృష్టించావు. తాబోరు హెర్మోనులు నీ నామాన్నిబట్టి ఆనందిస్తున్నాయి.

13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, [and] high is thy right hand.

౧౩నీకు బలిష్టమైన హస్తం ఉంది. నీ హస్తం దృఢమైనది. నీ కుడిచెయ్యి ఘనమైనది.

14 Justice and judgment [are] the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

౧౪నీతిన్యాయాలు నీ సింహాసనానికి ఆధారాలు. కృప, నమ్మకత్వం నీకు ముందుగా నడుస్తాయి.

15 Blessed [is] the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

౧౫నిన్ను ఆరాధించే వాళ్ళు ధన్యులు! యెహోవా, నీ ముఖకాంతిలో వాళ్ళు నడుస్తారు.

16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

౧౬నీ నామాన్ని బట్టి వాళ్ళు రోజంతా ఆనందిస్తారు, నీ నీతిలో వాళ్ళు నిన్ను పొగడుతారు.

17 For thou [art] the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

౧౭వాళ్ళ వైభవోపేతమైన బలం నువ్వే. నీ దయవల్ల మాకు విజయం కలిగింది.

18 For the LORD [is] our defence; and the Holy One of Israel [is] our king.

౧౮మా డాలు యెహోవాది. మా రాజు ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధుడు.

19 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon [one that is] mighty; I have exalted [one] chosen out of the people.

౧౯ఒకప్పుడు నువ్వు దర్శనంలో నీ భక్తులతో మాట్లాడావు. నువ్విలా అన్నావు, నేను ఒక శూరుడికి కిరీటం పెట్టాను. ప్రజల్లోనుంచి ఎన్నుకుని అతణ్ణి హెచ్చించాను.

20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

౨౦నా సేవకుడైన దావీదును నేను ఎన్నుకున్నాను. నా పవిత్ర తైలంతో అతన్ని అభిషేకించాను.

21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.

౨౧నా చెయ్యి అతనికి తోడుగా ఉంటుంది, నా బాహుబలం అతన్ని బలపరుస్తుంది.

22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

౨౨ఏ శత్రువూ అతన్ని మోసగించలేడు, దుర్మార్గులు ఎవరూ అతన్ని అణచలేరు.

23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.

౨౩అతని శత్రువులను అతని ఎదుటే పడగొడతాను. అతన్ని ద్వేషించే వాళ్ళను నేను చంపేస్తాను.

24 But my faithfulness and my mercy [shall be] with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

౨౪నా సత్యం, నా కృప అతనికి తోడుగా ఉంటుంది. నా నామాన్నిబట్టి అతనికి విజయం వస్తుంది.

25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

౨౫సముద్రం మీద అతని చేతినీ నదుల మీద అతని కుడిచేతినీ నేను ఉంచుతాను.

26 He shall cry unto me, Thou [art] my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

౨౬నువ్వు నా తండ్రివి, నా దేవుడివి, నా రక్షణ దుర్గం అని అతడు నన్ను పిలుస్తాడు.

27 Also I will make him [my] firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

౨౭నేను అతన్ని నా పెద్దకొడుకుగా చేసుకుంటాను, భూరాజులందరికంటే ఉన్నత స్థితి ఇస్తాను.

28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

౨౮నా కృప శాశ్వతంగా అతనిపట్ల ఉండేలా చేస్తాను. నా ఒడంబడిక అతనితో ఎప్పుడూ ఉంటుంది.

29 His seed also will I make [to endure] for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

౨౯అతని సంతానం శాశ్వతంగా ఉండేలా చేస్తాను ఆకాశమున్నంత వరకూ అతని సింహాసనాన్ని నేను నిలుపుతాను.

30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

౩౦అతని సంతానం నా ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్ని విడిచిపెడితే, నా ఆజ్ఞలను అనుసరించకపోతే,

31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

౩౧వాళ్ళు నా నియమాలను ఉల్లంఘించి నా న్యాయవిధులను పాటించకపోతే,

32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

౩౨నేను వారి తిరుగుబాటుకు బెత్తంతో, వారి దోషానికి దెబ్బలతో శిక్షిస్తాను.

33 Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

౩౩అయితే నా కృపను అతని నుంచి తీసివేయను. నామాట తప్పను.

34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

౩౪నా ఒడంబడిక నేను రద్దు చేయను. నా పెదాల మీది మాట మార్చను.

35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

౩౫అతని సంతానం శాశ్వతంగా ఉంటుంది అతని సింహాసనం సూర్యుడున్నంత కాలం నా ఎదుట ఉంటుంది

36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

౩౬చంద్రుడున్నంత కాలం అది శాశ్వతంగా నిలిచి ఉంటుంది. ఆకాశంలో ఉన్న ఈ సాక్ష్యం నమ్మకంగా ఉంది.

37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and [as] a faithful witness in heaven. (Selah)

౩౭నా పరిశుద్ధత తోడని నేను ప్రమాణం చేశాను దావీదుతో నేను అబద్ధమాడను. (సెలా)

38 But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

౩౮అయితే నువ్వు మమ్మల్ని నిరాకరించి వదిలేశావు, నీ అభిషిక్తుని మీద నువ్వు కోపంతో ఉన్నావు.

39 Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown [by casting it] to the ground.

౩౯నీ సేవకుని ఒడంబడిక విడిచిపెట్టేశావు. అతని కిరీటాన్ని నేల మీద పడేసి అపవిత్రపరచావు.

40 Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.

౪౦అతని గోడలన్నీ నువ్వు పగలగొట్టావు. అతని కోటలను పాడు చేశావు.

41 All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

౪౧దారిన పోయేవాళ్ళంతా అతన్ని దోచుకున్నారు. తన పొరుగువాళ్లకు అతడు నిందకు ఆస్పదమయ్యాడు.

42 Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.

౪౨అతని విరోధుల కుడిచేతిని నువ్వు హెచ్చించావు. అతని శత్రువులందరికీ నువ్వు ఆనందం కలిగించావు.

43 Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.

౪౩అతని కత్తిమొన తొలగించావు యుద్దంలో అతన్ని నిలవకుండా చేశావు.

44 Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.

౪౪అతని వైభవానికి చరమగీతం పాడావు. అతని సింహాసనాన్ని నేలమట్టం చేశావు.

45 The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. (Selah)

౪౫అతని యువప్రాయాన్ని కుదించావు. సిగ్గుతో అతన్ని కప్పావు. (సెలా)

46 How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?

౪౬యెహోవా, ఎంతకాలం? నువ్వు శాశ్వతంగా దాక్కుంటావా? ఎంతకాలం నీ కోపం మంటలాగా మండుతూ ఉంటుంది?

47 Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

౪౭నా ఆయుష్షు ఎంత స్వల్పమో తలచుకో. పనికిరాని దేనికోసం నువ్వు మనుషులందరినీ సృష్టించావు?

48 What man [is he that] liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)

౪౮చావకుండా బతికేవాడెవడు? లేక మృత్యులోకంనుంచి తన జీవాన్ని తప్పించుకోగల వాడెవడు? (సెలా) (Sheol h7585)

49 Lord, where [are] thy former lovingkindnesses, [which] thou swarest unto David in thy truth?

౪౯ప్రభూ, నీ విశ్వసనీయతతో నువ్వు దావీదుతో ప్రమాణం చేసి మొదట చూపిన నీ కృపా కార్యాలు ఏవి?

50 Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; [how] I do bear in my bosom [the reproach of] all the mighty people;

౫౦ప్రభూ, నీ సేవకులకు వచ్చిన నిందను బలమైన రాజ్యాలన్నిటి నుంచి వచ్చిన అవమానాన్ని నా గుండెలో నేనెలా భరిస్తున్నానో తలచుకో.

51 Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

౫౧యెహోవా, నీ శత్రువులు నిందలు మోపుతున్నారు, నీ అభిషిక్తుని అడుగులపై వాళ్ళు నిందలు మోపుతున్నారు.

52 Blessed [be] the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.

౫౨యెహోవాకు శాశ్వతంగా స్తుతి కలుగు గాక. ఆమేన్‌, ఆమేన్‌.
