Psalms 85

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

可拉後裔的詩，交與伶長。 耶和華啊，你已經向你的地施恩， 救回被擄的雅各。

2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)

你赦免了你百姓的罪孽， 遮蓋了他們一切的過犯。 (細拉)

3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thine anger.

你收轉了所發的忿怒 和你猛烈的怒氣。

4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

拯救我們的上帝啊，求你使我們回轉， 叫你的惱恨向我們止息。

5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

你要向我們發怒到永遠嗎？ 你要將你的怒氣延留到萬代嗎？

6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

你不再將我們救活， 使你的百姓靠你歡喜嗎？

7 Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.

耶和華啊，求你使我們得見你的慈愛， 又將你的救恩賜給我們。

8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

我要聽上帝－耶和華所說的話； 因為他必應許將平安賜給他的百姓－他的聖民； 他們卻不可再轉去妄行。

9 Surely his salvation [is] nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

他的救恩誠然與敬畏他的人相近， 叫榮耀住在我們的地上。

10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other].

慈愛和誠實彼此相遇； 公義和平安彼此相親。

11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

誠實從地而生； 公義從天而現。

12 Yea, the LORD shall give [that which is] good; and our land shall yield her increase.

耶和華必將好處賜給我們； 我們的地也要多出土產。

13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set [us] in the way of his steps.

公義要行在他面前， 叫他的腳蹤成為可走的路。
