Psalms 85
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। কোরহ বংশের সন্তানদের একটি গীত। হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি তোমার দেশের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ দেখিয়েছ; তুমি যাকোবের বংশের সমৃদ্ধি ফিরিয়ে এনেছ।
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. (Selah)
তুমি তোমার প্রজাদের অপরাধ ক্ষমা করেছ এবং তাদের সব পাপ আবৃত করেছ।
3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thine anger.
তুমি তোমার সব ক্রোধ দূরে সরিয়ে রেখেছ এবং তোমার প্রচণ্ড রাগ থেকে ফিরেছ।
4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
হে ঈশ্বর, আমাদের পরিত্রাতা, আমাদের পুনরুদ্ধার করো এবং আমাদের প্রতি তোমার অসন্তোষ দূরে সরিয়ে রাখো।
5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
তুমি কি চিরদিন আমাদের প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ থাকবে? তুমি কি যুগে যুগে তোমার রাগ স্থায়ী করবে?
6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
তুমি কি আবার আমাদের সঞ্জীবিত করবে না, যেন তোমার প্রজারা তোমাতে আনন্দে উল্লসিত হয়?
7 Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার অবিচল প্রেম আমাদের দেখাও, এবং তোমার পরিত্রাণ আমাদের প্রদান করো।
8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু যা বলেন আমি তা শুনব; তিনি তাঁর প্রজাদের, তাঁর বিশ্বস্ত দাসদের, শান্তির অঙ্গীকার করেন; কিন্তু তারা তাদের মূর্খতার পথে ফিরে না যাক।
9 Surely his salvation [is] nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
নিশ্চয়, যারা তাঁকে সম্ভ্রম করে তাঁর পরিত্রাণ তাদের নিকটবর্তী, যেন তাঁর মহিমা আমাদের দেশে বাস করে।
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other].
প্রেম ও বিশ্বস্ততা একত্রে মিলিত হয়, ধার্মিকতা ও শান্তি পরস্পরকে চুম্বন করে।
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
বিশ্বস্ততা পৃথিবী থেকে উত্থাপিত হয় এবং ধার্মিকতা স্বর্গ থেকে দৃষ্টিপাত করে।
12 Yea, the LORD shall give [that which is] good; and our land shall yield her increase.
সদাপ্রভু যা উত্তম তা অবশ্যই দান করবেন, এবং আমাদের দেশ শস্য উৎপাদন করবে।
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set [us] in the way of his steps.
ন্যায়পরায়ণতা তাঁর অগ্রগামী হয় এবং তাঁর চলার পথ প্রস্তুত করে।
