Psalms 82

1 A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

ಆಸಾಫನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರು ಮಹಾಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆವಹಿಸಿ, ದೇವರುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? (Selah)

“ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಪು ನೀಡುವಿರಿ. ಎಲ್ಲಿಯತನಕ ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಮುಖದಾಕ್ಷಿಣ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ?

3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

ದರಿದ್ರನನ್ನೂ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನನ್ನೂ ಕಾಪಾಡಿರಿ. ದೀನನಿಗೂ, ಬಡವನಿಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿರಿ.

4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid [them] out of the hand of the wicked.

ದರಿದ್ರನನ್ನೂ, ಬಡವನನ್ನೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿರಿ. ಅವರನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ.

5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

“ದೇವರುಗಳು ಅರಿಯರು ಏನೂ, ಅವರು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಏನೂ. ಅವರು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕದಲುತ್ತಿದೆ.

6 I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High.

“ನಾನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು, ‘ನೀವು ದೇವರುಗಳು, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ದೇವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.

7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

ಆದರೂ ಕೇವಲ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀವು ಸಾಯುವಿರಿ. ಇತರ ನಾಯಕರಂತೆಯೇ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುವಿರಿ.”

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

ದೇವರೇ, ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮಗೇ ಸೇರಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
