Psalms 66
1 To the chief Musician, A Song [or] Psalm. Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:
সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। একটি সংগীত। একটি গীত। সমস্ত পৃথিবী, ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশে আনন্দধ্বনি করো!
2 Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.
তাঁর নামের গৌরব কীর্তন করো; তাঁর প্রশংসা গৌরবান্বিত করো।
3 Say unto God, How terrible [art thou in] thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.
ঈশ্বরকে বলো, “কী অসাধারণ তোমার কার্যসকল! এমন তোমার পরাক্রম যে তোমার শত্রুরা তোমার সামনে কুঁকড়ে যায়।
4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing [to] thy name. (Selah)
সমস্ত পৃথিবী তোমার সামনে অবনত হয়; তারা তোমার প্রশংসাগান গায়, তারা তোমার নামের প্রশংসাগান গায়।”
5 Come and see the works of God: [he is] terrible [in his] doing toward the children of men.
এসো আর দেখো ঈশ্বর কী করেছেন, মানুষের জন্য তাঁর অসাধারণ কীর্তি!
6 He turned the sea into dry [land: ] they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.
তিনি সমুদ্র শুষ্ক জমিতে পরিণত করেন, তারা পায়ে হেঁটে জলের মধ্যে দিয়ে গিয়েছিল— এসো, আমরা ঈশ্বরে আনন্দ করি।
7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. (Selah)
তিনি তাঁর পরাক্রমে চিরকাল শাসন করেন, তাঁর চোখ জাতিদের লক্ষ্য করে; বিদ্রোহীরা যেন তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে মাথা তুলে না দাঁড়ায়।
8 O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:
সমস্ত লোক, তোমরা আমাদের ঈশ্বরের প্রশংসা করো, তাঁর প্রশংসার ধ্বনি শোনা যাক;
9 Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.
তিনি আমাদের জীবন সুরক্ষিত করেছেন আর আমাদের পা পিছলে যাওয়া থেকে আমাদের আগলে রেখেছেন।
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
কারণ তুমি ঈশ্বর, আমাদের পরীক্ষা করেছ; তুমি আমাদের রুপোর মতো পরীক্ষাসিদ্ধ করেছ।
11 Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.
তুমি আমাদের কারাগারে বন্দি করেছ আর আমাদের পিঠে বোঝা চাপিয়ে দিয়েছ।
12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy [place].
লোকজন দ্বারা আমাদের মাথা তুমি পিষে ফেলতে দিয়েছ; আমরা আগুন ও জলের মধ্যে দিয়ে গিয়েছি, কিন্তু তুমি আমাদের প্রাচুর্যের স্থানে নিয়ে এসেছ।
13 I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
হোমবলি নিয়ে আমি তোমার মন্দিরে প্রবেশ করব আর আমার শপথ পূর্ণ করব—
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.
আমার বিপদের সময় যে শপথ আমার ঠোঁট অঙ্গীকার করেছিল আর আমার মুখ উচ্চারণ করেছিল।
15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. (Selah)
আমি তোমার উদ্দেশে হৃষ্টপুষ্ট পশুবলি দেব, আর মদ্দা মেষ উপহার দেব; আমি বলদ ও ছাগল উৎসর্গ করব।
16 Come [and] hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
তোমরা যারা ঈশ্বরকে ভয় করো, এসো আর শোনো; তিনি আমার জন্য কী করেছেন তা আমি তোমাদের বলছি।
17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
আমি তাঁর প্রতি কেঁদেছিলাম আর মুখ দিয়ে প্রার্থনা করেছিলাম; তাঁর প্রশংসা আমার জিভে ছিল।
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear [me: ]
যদি আমি আমার হৃদয়ে পাপ পুষে রাখতাম, সদাপ্রভু আমার প্রার্থনা গ্রাহ্য করতেন না;
19 [But] verily God hath heard [me; ] he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
কিন্তু ঈশ্বর নিশ্চয় শুনেছেন আর আমার প্রার্থনায় কর্ণপাত করেছেন।
20 Blessed [be] God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
ঈশ্বরের প্রশংসা হোক, যিনি আমার প্রার্থনা অস্বীকার করেননি এবং তাঁর অবিচল প্রেম থেকে আমাকে বঞ্চিত করেননি।
