< Psalms 64 >

1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Kuom jatend wer. Zaburi mar Daudi. Winja, Yaye Nyasaye e kinde manyisi chandruokna; rit ngimana kuom jasigu ma bwoga.
2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
Panda ne chenro maricho mag joma richo, panda ne koko ma oganda matimo marach goyo.
3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, [and] bend [their bows to shoot] their arrows, [even] bitter words:
Gipiago lewgi ka ligangla kendo gichimo wechegi ka asere motimo sum.
4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
Gidiro asere kama giponde mondo gichwogo ngʼama onge ketho; gibaye gi asere apoya ka gionge luoro.
5 They encourage themselves [in] an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
Gijiwore ngʼato gi ngʼato kuom chenrogi maricho, giwuoyo kaka ginyalo pando obadhogi, kagiwacho niya, “En ngʼa mabiro nenogi?”
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward [thought] of every one [of them], and the heart, [is] deep.
Gichano timo ne ji marach kagiwacho niya, “Waseloso chenro malongʼo chuth!” Kuom adier, pach dhano gi chunye opando riekni maricho miwuoro.
7 But God shall shoot at them [with] an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
To Nyasaye biro bayogi gi aserni; apoya nono, ibiro puodgi piny.
8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
Obiro loko lewgi mi gogi gin giwegi mi otiekgi chuth; ji duto monenogi biro kino wigi gi wuoro.
9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
Ji duto biro bedo maluor, gibiro hulo tije Nyasaye, kendo gibiro paro mos kuom gima osetimo.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
Joma kare mondo obed moil kuom Jehova Nyasaye kendo gipondo kuome; ji duto moriere tir gie chunygi mondo opake!
