Psalms 62
1 To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him [cometh] my salvation.
En Dios solamente está callada mi alma; de él es mi salud.
2 He only [is] my rock and my salvation; [he is] my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
El solamente es mi fuerte y mi salud: mi refugio, no resbalaré mucho.
3 How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall [shall ye be, and as] a tottering fence.
¿Hasta cuándo maquinaréis contra un hombre? seréis muertos todos vosotros; como pared acostada seréis, como vallado rempujado.
4 They only consult to cast [him] down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
Solamente consultan para arrojarle de su grandeza: aman la mentira: con su boca bendicen, mas en sus entrañas maldicen. (Selah)
5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation [is] from him.
En Dios solamente repósate, o! alma mía; porque de él es mi esperanza.
6 He only [is] my rock and my salvation: [he is] my defence; I shall not be moved.
El solamente es mi fuerte y mi salud: mi refugio, no resbalaré.
7 In God [is] my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, [and] my refuge, [is] in God.
Sobre Dios es mi salud y mi gloria: peña de mi fortaleza: mi refugio es en Dios.
8 Trust in him at all times; [ye] people, pour out your heart before him: God [is] a refuge for us. (Selah)
Esperád en él en todo tiempo, o! pueblos: derramád delante de él vuestro corazón: Dios es nuestro amparo. (Selah)
9 Surely men of low degree [are] vanity, [and] men of high degree [are] a lie: to be laid in the balance, they [are] altogether [lighter] than vanity.
Solamente vanidad son los hijos de Adam, mentira los hijos del varón, pesándolos a todos juntos en balanzas, serán menos que la vanidad.
10 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart [upon them].
No confiéis en la violencia, y en la rapiña no os desvanezcáis: en la hacienda, si se aumentare, no pongáis el corazón.
11 God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power [belongeth] unto God.
Una vez habló Dios, dos veces he oído esto: Que de Dios es la fortaleza:
12 Also unto thee, O Lord, [belongeth] mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
Y tuya, Señor, es la misericordia: porque tú pagas a cada uno conforme a su obra.
