Psalms 6

1 To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

【懺悔的懇禱】 達味詩歌，交與樂官，和以絃樂，八度低音。 上主，求你不要在震怒中責罰我，不要在氣憤中懲戒我。

2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I [am] weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

上主，我的體力衰弱，求你憐恤我；上主，我的骨骸戰慄，求你醫治我；

3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?

我的靈魂萬分痛苦，上主，何時才能結束？

4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies’ sake.

上主，請你回來援助我，因了你的慈愛解救我。

5 For in death [there is] no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? (Sheol h7585)

因為，在死亡中，沒有人想念你；在陰府裏，還有誰稱頌你？ (Sheol h7585)

6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

我已哭泣疲憊，每天夜裏，常以眼淚浸濕我的床鋪，常以鼻涕流透我的被褥。

7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.

我的眼睛因憂傷而昏盲，為了仇敵眾多甚感惆悵。

8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

作奸犯科的人快快遠離我，因為上主聽見了我的悲號；

9 The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

上主俯允了我的哀告，上主悅納了我的祈禱。

10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return [and] be ashamed suddenly.

我的仇敵必要受辱驚慌，轉瞬之間必會含羞逃亡。
