Psalms 55
1 To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, [A Psalm] of David. Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ತಂತಿವಾದ್ಯದೊಡನೆ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಪದ್ಯ. ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸು; ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ.
2 Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;
೨ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕೊಟ್ಟು ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸು.
3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
೩ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಅಬ್ಬರ, ದುಷ್ಟರ ಹಿಂಸೆ ಇವುಗಳ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸುವವನಾಗಿ, ಹೊಯ್ದಾಡುತ್ತಾ ನರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
4 My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
೪ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನೊಂದು ಬೆಂದುಹೋಗಿದೆ; ಮರಣಭಯವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.
5 Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.
೫ಅಂಜಿ ನಡುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ದಿಗಿಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದೆ.
6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! [for then] would I fly away, and be at rest.
೬ನಾನು, “ಆಹಾ, ನನಗೆ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳಿದ್ದರೆ ಪಾರಿವಾಳದಂತೆ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗಿ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.
7 Lo, [then] would I wander far off, [and] remain in the wilderness. (Selah)
೭ಅವಸರದಿಂದ ಹಾನಿಕರವಾದ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು,
8 I would hasten my escape from the windy storm [and] tempest.
೮ದೂರ ಹೋಗಿ ಅರಣ್ಯಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು” ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು. (ಸೆಲಾ)
9 Destroy, O Lord, [and] divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
೯ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಅವರ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ತಾರುಮಾರುಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭ್ರಾಂತಿಗೊಳಿಸು. ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಹ, ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಗಳು ಕಾಣಬರುತ್ತವೆ.
10 Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow [are] in the midst of it.
೧೦ಅವೇ ಅದರ ಪೌಳಿಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಸುತ್ತುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರು; ಊರೊಳಗೆ ಕೇಡು, ತೊಂದರೆಗಳು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗಿವೆ.
11 Wickedness [is] in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
೧೧ಅದರೊಳಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಶನವೇ; ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಂಚನೆ ಅದರ ಬೀದಿಗಳಿಂದ ತೊಲಗವು.
12 For [it was] not an enemy [that] reproached me; then I could have borne [it: ] neither [was it] he that hated me [that] did magnify [himself] against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
೧೨ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸುವವನು ವೈರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ತಾಳಿಕೊಂಡೇನು; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಉಬ್ಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
13 But [it was] thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
೧೩ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಸ್ವಕೀಯನೂ ಆಪ್ತಮಿತ್ರನೂ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ.
14 We took sweet counsel together, [and] walked unto the house of God in company.
೧೪ನಾವು ಪರಸ್ಪರವಾಗಿ ರಸಭರಿತ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಭಕ್ತಸಮೂಹದೊಡನೆ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವಲ್ಲಾ.
15 Let death seize upon them, [and] let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness [is] in their dwellings, [and] among them. (Sheol h7585)
೧೫ಆ ದುಷ್ಟರಿಗೆ ಮರಣವು ತಟ್ಟನೆ ಬರಲಿ; ಸಜೀವರಾಗಿಯೇ ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿದುಹೋಗಲಿ. ಅವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವೇ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. (Sheol h7585)
16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.
೧೬ನಾನಂತೂ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವೆನು; ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.
17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
೧೭ತ್ರಿಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವೆನು. ಆತನು ಹೇಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ
18 He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle [that was] against me: for there were many with me.
೧೮ನನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳು ಅನೇಕರಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದಂತೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಇಡುವನು.
19 God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. (Selah) Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
೧೯ಅನಾದಿಕಾಲದಿಂದ ಆಸನಾರೂಢನಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಬಿಡುವನು. (ಸೆಲಾ) ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸುಖವು ಕದಲದೆಂದುಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹೆದರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
20 He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.
೨೦ಆ ದ್ರೋಹಿಯಾದರೋ ತನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದಿದ್ದವರ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
21 [The words] of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war [was] in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet [were] they drawn swords.
೨೧ಅವನ ಮಾತು ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಯಂತೆ ನುಣುಪು; ಹೃದಯವೋ ಕಲಹಮಯ. ಅವನ ನುಡಿಗಳು ಎಣ್ಣೆಗಿಂತ ನಯವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಬಿಚ್ಚು ಕತ್ತಿಗಳೇ ಸರಿ.
22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
೨೨ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿಂತಾಭಾರವನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕು; ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧಾರಮಾಡುವನು. ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕದಲಗೊಡಿಸನು.
23 But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
೨೩ದೇವರೇ, ನೀನು ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಪಾತಾಳದ ಕೆಳಕ್ಕೆ ದೊಬ್ಬಿಬಿಡುವಿ. ಕೊಲೆಪಾತಕರೂ ವಂಚಕರೂ ನರಾಯುಷ್ಯದ ಅರ್ಧಾಂಶವಾದರೂ ಬದುಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನಂತೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೆ ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆನು.
