Psalms 53
1 To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, [A Psalm] of David. The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: [there is] none that doeth good.
मूर्खले आफ्नो मनमा भन्छ, “ईश्वर छँदैछैन ।” तिनीहरू भ्रष्ट छन् र घृणित अधर्म गरेका छन् । असल गर्ने कोही पनि छैन ।
2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were [any] that did understand, that did seek God.
कसैले बुझ्छन्, वा परमेश्वरलाई खोज्छन् कि भनी हेर्न उहाँले मानवजातिका सन्तानहरूलाई स्वर्गबाट हेर्नुहुन्छ ।
3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; [there is] none that doeth good, no, not one.
तिनीहरू सबै जना बरालिएका छन् । तिनीहरू एकसाथ भ्रष्ट भएका छन् । असल गर्ने कोही पनि छैन, एक जना पनि छैन ।
4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people [as] they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
के अधर्म गर्नेहरूको कुनै समझ नै छैन, जसले मेरा मानिसहरूलाई रोटी खाएझैं खान्छन् र तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरलाई पुकारा गर्दैनन्?
5 There were they in great fear, [where] no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth [against] thee: thou hast put [them] to shame, because God hath despised them.
डराउनुपर्ने कुनै कारण नभए तापनि तिनीहरू भयङ्कर डरमा हुन्छन् । किनकि तिमीहरू विरुद्ध पाल टाँग्नेहरूका हाडहरू परमेश्वरले छरपस्ट पार्नुहुनेछ । यस्ता मानिसहरू लाजमा पर्नेछन्, किनभने परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई इन्कार गर्नुभएको छ ।
6 Oh that the salvation of Israel [were come] out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.
इस्राएलको उद्धार सियोनबाट आएको भए त हुन्थ्यो! जब परमेश्वरले आफ्ना मानसिहरूलाई निर्वासनबाट फिर्ता ल्याउनुहुन्छ, तब याकूब आनन्दित र इस्राएल खुसी हुनेछ ।
