Psalms 50
1 A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, [even] the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
౧ఆసాపు కీర్తన శక్తిశాలి, దేవుడు అయిన యెహోవా ఆదేశిస్తున్నాడు. పొద్దు పొడిచే దిశ నుండి పొద్దు గుంకే దిశ వరకూ ఉన్న ప్రజలందర్నీ రమ్మని పిలుస్తున్నాడు.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
౨పరిపూర్ణ సౌందర్యం అయిన సీయోనులో నుండి దేవుడు ప్రకాశిస్తున్నాడు.
3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
౩మన దేవుడు వస్తున్నాడు. ఆయన మౌనంగా ఉండడు. ఆయనకు ముందుగా భీకర అగ్ని కబళించుకుంటూ వెళ్తుంది. ఆయన చుట్టూ ప్రచండ గాలులు వీస్తున్నాయి.
4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
౪తన ప్రజలకు న్యాయం తీర్చడానికి ఆయన ఆకాశాలనూ భూమినీ పిలుస్తున్నాడు.
5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
౫బలి అర్పణ ద్వారా నాతో నిబంధన చేసుకున్న నా విశ్వాస పాత్రులను నా దగ్గరకు సమకూర్చండి అని పిలుస్తున్నాడు.
6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God [is] judge himself. (Selah)
౬ఆకాశాలు ఆయన నీతిని ప్రకటిస్తున్నాయి. ఎందుకంటే దేవుడు తానే న్యాయాధిపతిగా ఉన్నాడు.
7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I [am] God, [even] thy God.
౭నా ప్రజలారా, వినండి. నేను మాట్లాడతాను. నేను దేవుణ్ణి. మీ దేవుణ్ణి.
8 I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, [to have been] continually before me.
౮నీ బలుల విషయమై నేను నిన్ను నిందించడం లేదు. మీ దహనబలులు ఎప్పుడూ నా ఎదుటే ఉన్నాయి.
9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, [nor] he goats out of thy folds.
౯నీ ఇంటి నుండి ఎద్దునైనా, నీ మందలోని మేకపోతులనైనా నేను తీసుకోను.
10 For every beast of the forest [is] mine, [and] the cattle upon a thousand hills.
౧౦ఎందుకంటే అడవిలో ఉన్న ప్రతి మృగమూ నాదే. వెయ్యి కొండలపై తిరుగాడే పశువులన్నీ నావే.
11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field [are] mine.
౧౧కొండల్లోని పక్షులన్నీ నాకు తెలుసు. పొలాల్లోని మృగాలు నా వశమే.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world [is] mine, and the fulness thereof.
౧౨నాకు ఒకవేళ ఆకలివేస్తే అది నీకు చెప్పను. ఎందుకంటే ఈ ప్రపంచమంతా నాదే. భూమిలో ఉండేదంతా నాదే.
13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
౧౩ఎద్దుల మాంసం నేను తింటానా? మేకల రక్తం తాగుతానా?
14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
౧౪దేవునికి నీ కృతజ్ఞతార్పణ సమర్పించు. మహోన్నతుడికి నీ ప్రమాణాలను నెరవేర్చు.
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
౧౫సమస్యలు చుట్టుముట్టిన రోజున నాకు ప్రార్థించు. నేను నిన్ను కాపాడతాను. నువ్వు నన్ను కీర్తిస్తావు.
16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or [that] thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
౧౬కానీ దుర్మార్గులతో దేవుడు ఇలా అంటున్నాడు. నా నియమాలను ప్రకటించడానికి నీకేం పని? నా నిబంధన నీ నోట పలకాల్సిన అవసరం ఏమిటి?
17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
౧౭ఆదేశాలను నువ్వు అసహ్యించుకుంటావు. నా మాటలు పట్టించుకోకుండా తోసివేస్తావు.
18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
౧౮నువ్వు దొంగను చూసి వాడితో ఏకీభవిస్తావు. వ్యభిచారం చేసే వాళ్ళతో కలుస్తావు.
19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
౧౯ఎవరికైనా అపకారం తలపెట్టడానికి నోరు తెరుస్తావు. నీ నాలుక వంచన చేస్తుంది.
20 Thou sittest [and] speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.
౨౦కూర్చుని నీ సోదరుడికి వ్యతిరేకంగా మాట్లాడుతావు. నీ స్వంత సోదరుడిపై అపనిందలు మోపుతావు.
21 These [things] hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether [such an one] as thyself: [but] I will reprove thee, and set [them] in order before thine eyes.
౨౧నువ్వు ఇలాంటి పనులు చేస్తున్నా నేను మౌనంగానే ఉన్నాను. దాంతో నన్ను నీతో సమానంగా జమ కట్టావు. కానీ నేను నువ్వు చేసిన పనులన్నిటినీ నీ కళ్ళ ఎదుటికి తీసుకువస్తాను. నిన్ను గద్దిస్తాను.
22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear [you] in pieces, and [there be] none to deliver.
౨౨దేవుణ్ణి మర్చిపోయే వాళ్ళు ఈ సంగతి ఆలోచించండి. లేదా నేను మిమ్మల్ని ముక్కలుగా చీల్చి వేస్తాను. మీకు సహాయం చేయడానికి ఎవరూ రారు.
23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth [his] conversation [aright] will I shew the salvation of God.
౨౩కృతజ్ఞతార్పణ అర్పించే వాడు నన్ను స్తుతిస్తున్నాడు. తన ప్రయాణం సరైన మార్గంలో చేయాలని ఆలోచించే వాళ్లకు నేను దేవుని ముక్తిని చూపిస్తాను.
